Chapter 889: Chapter 113: Sanctuary of Saint Sophia
"It’s a Demon Dragon, a three-headed Demon Dragon!"
For those Crusaders witnessing such a winged Flying Dragon for the first time, their hearts were filled with unparalleled terror.
After all, in the stories sung by minstrels about the "Dragon Slayer," the protagonist’s perspective was often that of a Ranger Knight; in the frescoes of Saint George slaying the dragon, the dragon was usually smaller than Saint George’s white horse.
As for the Sea Dragon they just saw, they didn’t really consider it a Dragon Species, but rather a deep-sea monster.
He came, he actually came!
"How could there be such a greedy person in the world, who after taking the fertile land of Aegyptus, still covets the Empire’s throne?"
The surface of the lava giant bubbled with sticky lava, releasing a strong sulfurous smell, representing his internal unrest.
A person’s name, the shadow of a tree.
This is the figure who, over the centuries in the Mediterranean World, has single-handedly toppled the only Legendary figure off the pedestal; who in the Extraordinary World now would dare to stand against him?
Just ascended the Galata City walls to watch the battle, Alexios frowned deeply, knowing that Losa might come, but hadn’t expected him to arrive so quickly.
Shouldn’t he be focusing on dealing with the Heretics of Egypt, expanding his overseas Crusader Kingdom?
At such a pivotal moment, how could he abandon his holy war business, lead troops here to support heresy, under the Empire’s Double-headed Eagle Banner? Does he not fear losing his reputation, seen as a lapdog of the King of Greece?

Exiled within the Latin World, Alexios suddenly roared in anger: "Ragaya, that shameless, ungrateful wench, is she planning to hand over the Empire’s throne to a Frankish barbarian?"
It’s not just his speculation; in their view, the only bargaining chip the Empire can offer to win over Losa is the imperial throne. As for Losa’s requests for agriculture, water conservancy, and bureaucracy selection and training texts, they consider these of no value whatsoever.
"The Vice Emperor of the Empire, Governor of the Eastern Region and Aegyptus, Losa Basileus has come to assist us!"
Ragaya raised the jewel-encrusted ceremonial sword in her hand, shouting: "Citizens of the Empire, reinforcements have arrived; the Double-headed Eagle Banner is flying at the highest point in the world, the time to counterattack has come!"
A group of Eunuchs also joined in with their high-pitched voices.
Listening to the cheers of the people, the Empress, who had been prepared to commit suicide at the last moment, felt a surge of weakness, gazing intently at the figure standing atop the head of the Demon Dragon.
She had previously doubted that Losa would covet the most sacred throne in Christendom.
But now, she couldn’t help but think, if the Empire truly had an Emperor like him, her long-dreamed-about Empire revival, rescuing all the Empire’s subjects from Heretics, would soon be realized?
After all, he pacified Egypt, in less than a year.
She couldn’t help but recall Anna’s proposal, feeling a warmth flowing in her lower abdomen.
...
"Returning to old places."
"Didn’t expect this world also has this city."
"Boss, are we here this time to seize the city from the Crusaders?"
Ladon’s three heads chatted away, reminiscing about their youth during Mahmud II’s conquest of Constantinople.

Bella III invited a Wizard to speak on his behalf:
"Your Majesty Losa, you’ve arrived at just the right time; the unpredictable King of Greece repeatedly obstructing the holy Eastern Expedition, we’re about to break Constantinople as the base of the Eastern Expedition; an earthly grand feat of healing the East-West Church schism!"
"Your Majesty Losa, you’re the bravest Crusader general, fulfilling God’s sacred mandate, devoted your life to the cause of the Eastern Expedition, your presence gives our enterprise additional glory!"
Losa, atop the Dragon Head, sneered, not even bothering to reply.
Bella III repeatedly emphasizing his "Crusader" identity, seemingly flattering him, but actually trying to put him on the spot?
"Ladon, want to eat those two big guys below?"
The Cursed Dragon Head quickly said: "Boss, we’ve been flying in the sky for so long, haven’t eaten, might not be able to defeat them."
The Fire Dragon Head impatiently said: "Nonsense, a mere low-grade Sea Dragon, defeating it is as easy as breathing, the giant isn’t worth mentioning, leave it to me."
The Highly Poisonous Dragon Head chuckled arrogantly but agreed with the Cursed Dragon Head: "That Sea Dragon isn’t worth considering, but the Lava Giant is indeed tough."
Losa frowned: "Who said I wanted you to deal with them?"
As his words fell, the Sea Dragon nervously watching Ladon had its large head drop into the seawater, cold dragon’s blood forming a thick ice layer on the sea surface.
A female swordswoman with long blue-gray hair slightly crouched, stood on a floating ice block submerged in the port’s seawater, slowly sheathing her twin swords at her waist.
Given high hopes by Venetians, the nightmare for countless sailors and captains, the Abyssal Demon Dragon of the Adriatic Sea, was easily executed by Cherina.
The pressure from Losa and Ladon, two high-grade Giant Dragons, contributed to it; so did Dandolo’s controlled Sea Dragon’s limited power, but common folks couldn’t understand these nuances.
This simple action shook ninety-nine percent of those present.
The previously enraged Lava Giant had now completely calmed down, reverting to human form, holding a magic protective talisman, feeling his neck chilled. Had he any spatial items, he would’ve teleported away by now.

Bella III finally digested this; he seemed to realize what terrifying Power the Egyptian usurper held, making him angry and frightened, with an uncontrollable panic growing inside.
He gathered his courage and loudly questioned: "Your Majesty Losa, why assist the evil King of Greece against the righteous Crusader forces? Have you been bribed with the King of Greece’s titles and wealth?"
"Have you forsaken the holy Public Teaching faith, converted to the Greek heresy?"
Losa sneered; siding with the Greeks against the Crusaders sounded like taking a bite of food and cursing the provider, but in terms of this era’s truth, he was a thousand times more justified than them.
He raised his hand, divine Golden Radiance gathered around him, transforming into the dazzling Spear of Destiny, with the Favor of Saint Sophia enveloping him, a sacred shadow vaguely appearing behind.
This Saint Sophia refers to God’s Holy Wisdom; under the Favor of Saint Sophia, Losa seemed to receive God’s Holy Wisdom support, exponentially increasing his Spiritual Power, adding irresistible authority to his words.
"I came to stop this law-shaking Crusader injustice."
"To punish those violating vows and missions, attacking fellow Christians under the Crusader’s guise."
"You rashly abandoned your vows, choosing secular wealth over eternal treasures of the Celestial Kingdom, reform and redemption are your paths, not worsening your religious disguise crimes beneath the Cross’s banner."
Losa’s voice resonated, heard clearly by both the Crusaders and Constantinople’s citizens, even those who didn’t understand had nearby Latin-speaking citizens translating.
Bella III wanted to retort, but couldn’t suppress a deep sense of shame.
Looking back, hardly anyone was standing on deck; they fell to their knees, crying and confessing their wrongs.
