Chapter 219: Envoy of Hell_1
"Fine then, let your four women back there entertain my brothers for a night, no, two nights, and I’ll give this back to you. We’ll call it even!" the burly man said disdainfully, his eyes adding burning intensity.
However, no sooner had the burly man’s arrogant words fallen than his expression changed dramatically, because Chu Qin’s dragon claw had already pierced his chest. Those last words he’d spoken were his last!
"Boss!" Seeing the two-meter-tall burly man collapse to the ground, the others were filled with raging fury.
But before they could act, a swift shadow flashed past them, and they had already left this world!
The ones who had struck were none other than Zi Ji and her group! They were all soul beasts and naturally had no mercy for such people!
In an instant, only the bartender was left in the tavern, who immediately scrambled to his feet and tumbled out of the tavern!
"Chu Qin, are these misshapen and inferior thugs what they call the evilest of men?" Zi Ji said with disdainful laughter.
"Don’t be hasty!" Chu Qin replied, "We’re not even within Slaughter City’s territory yet!"
With that said, Chu Qin’s Eyes of Insight activated, and he immediately blasted open the floor of the tavern.
Underneath the tavern’s bar, a massive deep hole appeared, emitting a strange, crimson gas that seemed highly unusual. This was the very entrance to Slaughter City!
"Zijin, Xiaowu, Ayin, Qiuer!" Chu Qin spoke up, "We’re about to fully enter Slaughter City. Once we’re in, I can’t guarantee when we will be able to leave. Think carefully."
"Chu Qin, stop dilly-dallying!" Xiaowu voiced out. "Wherever you go, we’ll follow!"
"Mhm!" Zi Ji and the other two women nodded in agreement.
"Alright!" With the four women’s response, Chu Qin hesitated no further and jumped right into the deep hole, followed closely by each of the women.
The hole was extremely deep; Chu Qin and the four women fell for about a minute before they finally landed on "solid ground".
This was a vast space located underground, surrounded by molten lava, and in front of them stood a colossal city!
The city was boundlessly large, with towering walls and far-off fortresses built upon mountainous terrain coming into view.
"Is this Slaughter City?" Wang Qiu’er asked, her face alight with excitement and curiosity.
"That’s more like it for the name ’City of Evil’," Zi Ji said seductively, curving the corner of her mouth. "It’s quite similar to the Soul Beast Colosseum in our great forest."
"You have a Soul Beast Colosseum in Aquipeia Forest?" Chu Qin asked with a slight smile.
"Of course, the battles between soul beasts are far crueler than those of humans!" Zi Ji replied affirmatively.
"Who would have thought that Slaughter City would be deep underground and still have moonlight!" Xiaowu exclaimed in surprise, looking at the red moon hanging high above Slaughter City.
After hearing Xiaowu, Zi Ji and the others also noticed the existence of the red moon.
"Are we no longer in Soul Land?" Ayin finally spoke, "I cannot sense any presence of Blue Silver Grass here."
"Sort of," Chu Qin replied. "Slaughter City is a space created by a powerhouse who became a god at level one hundred. It should be considered an independent small space! By the way, you all still remember the rules of Slaughter City, right?"
"I don’t remember!" Zi Ji replied. "I only remember something about a Hellish Road. Passing through it means we have completed our trial this time, right?"
"Yes," Chu Qin nodded.
"Then this Slaughter City doesn’t sound so difficult after all!"
"Squeak!"
Just then, accompanied by a harsh friction sound, the heavy gate of Slaughter City slowly opened, and some fully armed Black Armored Knights slowly walked out from within.
The leader, riding a tall black horse and wielding a steel lance, looked incredibly imposing!
"I am Terror Knight Scott. You have violated the rules of Slaughter City," the Black Armored Knight approached the group, eyeing Chu Qin and the others, and spoke with chilling words, "Unless you defeat me, you cannot enter Slaughter City through the gate behind me, or else you will all die here!"
"It seems the people here are all rather presumptuous," Zi Ji said with a faint smile. "Chu Qin, let me do this."
"Okay," Chu Qin replied with an indifferent smile.
"What, do you plan to challenge Terror Knight Scott by yourself?" Scott looked at Zi Ji, who appeared fragile, his pupils filled with disdain. "Or will you all come together?"
"It seems, not only are you presumptuous, but you’re also quite the talker!" As soon as Zi Ji’s words fell, her hand gradually transformed into a purple dragon claw!
The next moment, Zi Ji charged towards Scott!
Logically speaking, it should have only taken Zi Ji an instant to kill Scott, but she took three seconds to cover the short ten-meter distance.
Even so, as soon Zi Ji’s claw struck, Terror Knight Scott was immediately sent flying off his horse!
"Sigh," Zi Ji sighed softly and shook her head upon seeing this scene.
"Zi Ji, it seems that soul beasts are also weakened here," Chu Qin came over and said with a light smile.
"Yes, and quite significantly," Zi Ji nodded. "Without the Secret Manual, I can only wield the strength of a Soul Sage here. It looks like Slaughter City is more interesting than I thought!"
At that moment, another figure slowly emerged from Slaughter City.
At first glance, one could see a silhouette of extreme beauty. As she approached, everyone finally saw her true face.
This was a woman with a beauty that was somewhat enchanting. She had extremely enchanting features, decorated with unusual smoky makeup. Her lips and eyeliner were black, giving the impression she was an Envoy of Hell.
Her attire was similarly captivating; dressed in black armor, her proud figure was tightly enclosed. However, her snow-white arms and slender legs were exposed, looking so smooth and lustrous they made one desire to touch them.
She wore a thin black veil in her hair and carried on her face a perpetual, sinister, and contemptuous smile that made people feel intimidated yet unable to look away. A spider pattern was also present on her right thigh.
Upon seeing her, Chu Qin’s pupils brightened. He had seen all kinds of beauty, but this unique seductive, demonic allure was a first for him.
