Chapter 831: Chapter 825: Marital Rupture 4

Sean Thorne closed his eyes, took a deep breath, full of heartbreak and anger in his eyes, and questioned her: "Let me ask you, in this world, which mother would treat her daughter like this? A pregnant goat encounters a hunter and kneels to beg for mercy, and it’s just an animal, yet you’re a person."

"But Tiana, she’s not really..."

At this point, Whitney Lynch gasped, nearly blurting out that Tiana wasn’t her daughter.

Her face turned pale: "But..."

Sean Thorne angrily questioned: "There’s no but, ask yourself, are you doing what a human would do?"

Whitney Lynch was speechless.

But she did all of this for their biological daughter, Gigi, didn’t she?

Gigi had always been lukewarm in the entertainment industry, watching as Tiana gained more status, and would eventually overshadow all of Gigi’s talents.

She couldn’t stand such a huge disparity, so she did these things.

But wasn’t it all for this family?

Why could Tiana become a hit in the entertainment industry, and not her Gigi?

Sean Thorne saw the anger and unwillingness in her eyes and realized that she would never realize her mistakes.

With pursed lips, he said in a deep voice: "Alright, I’ve said what needed to be said. I have nothing more to add. Gather your things and go out for a while."

Whitney Lynch’s face grew even paler, she shook her head, glaring at him indignantly: "I’m not going, I’m not getting a divorce, Sean Thorne, you’ll regret this."

Sean Thorne’s eyes lost all warmth, nearly as cold as ice, he said sharply: "Not getting a divorce is what we’ll regret."

Georgia Thorne, instinctively unwilling for her parents to divorce, had tears sparkling in her eyes, pleading for her mother: "Dad, mom did treat my sister poorly, but hasn’t she also sacrificed a lot for this family? Can’t you give her a chance?"

"How many chances have I given? And every time, she squandered them herself. Georgia, you don’t need to plead for your mother; she doesn’t deserve it!"

Georgia Thorne moved her lips.

At this point, Whitney Lynch knew she couldn’t win back her husband’s heart no matter what. Her eyes turned red, tears pouring down like rain, and finally, she turned her gaze to Tiana.

"It’s you, you caused all this."

Tiana: "???"

Whitney Lynch at this moment had lost all composure and couldn’t accept the divorce. Like before, she directed all her inner anger at her.

She yelled: "If it weren’t for you, our family would have remained harmonious. Sean Thorne wouldn’t be divorcing me. It’s all because of you, everything is because of you."

In those eyes, there was a thick hatred.

Her hands clenched into fists; if Aiden Shaw weren’t there, she would have lunged at Tiana to teach her a lesson.

Tiana looked at her, without a trace of sadness. Instead, she smirked sarcastically: "Even now, you refuse to face the issues within yourself?"

Whitney Lynch cried and accused: "I’ve sacrificed so much for this family, and because of you, my husband is driving me out of the house."

Tiana swallowed, staring into her eyes: "Search your conscience, are you truly worthy of this family?"

Upon hearing this, Whitney Lynch forgot to cry and felt a chill in her heart seeing the coldness in her eyes: "What do you mean?"

Tiana put down her chopsticks, interlocked her fingers, and leaned on the chair.

She gently raised an eyebrow: "Why don’t we talk about some events from twenty-one years ago, and help you recall your true contributions?"
