Chapter 271: External World Armor, Speed Booster, World Buster Cannon, And Star Laser!
{External World Armor (Ability): The Train will possess an external armor powered by the origin of a world. The defense of the external armor is proportional to the amount of world origin. The amount of world origin is based on the number of functioning worlds within the train.
The destruction of the external armor wouldn’t deplete the world origin of the worlds within the train. At most, its maintenance and repair would only require expending train fuel.
Moreover, the external world armor is separate from the train’s durability. No matter how badly damaged it is, it won’t affect the total durability left for the train. Destroying it would require the destructive power of destroying countless worlds all at once!}
[The newly acquired train abilities were none other than Myriad Forms, Space Anchor, and External World Armor.]
[Myriad Forms allowed you to make use of the Zenith Train more conveniently. Since it could shift into countless forms, you could transform the Zenith Train into a ring and wear it like that in the real world.]
[Not only would that hide the Zenith Train while still being near you, but it also wouldn’t affect your train crewmates inside it. The spatial interior of the Zenith Train was separate from its appearance.]
[Due to the existence of the World Core, you could even ensure that as long as just a small part of the Zenith Train existed, you could transfer the interior space of all carriages and locomotives towards that small part.]
[So even if a carriage was destroyed, it wouldn’t affect the Zenith Train as a whole.]
[Undoubtedly, after the Zenith Train reached Level 61-70, which corresponded to Aether-grade, the upgrade brought it a qualitative change compared to before. The mere physical vessel of the Zenith Train barely restricted it.]
[As for Space Anchor, it was also a useful train ability that you valued. One of its greatest uses was for navigating turbulent space.]
[The outer space wasn’t all stable, as there were cosmic storms and such. The Space Anchor ensured that no matter how chaotic and unstable the space was, it could stabilize it and allow the Zenith Train to travel unobstructed.]
[Aside from that, it was also useful as a space-sealing artifact which could be used to prevent enemies with spatial capabilities from escaping via teleportation.]
[It even possessed the ability to anchor things within the Zenith Train’s range. In other words, even if you were traveling in outer space and encountered an asteroid, the Space Anchor could just lock it in place, ensuring that it wouldn’t collide with the train.]
[As for the External World Armor, it was quite self-explanatory. It worked similarly to Advanced Energy Forcefield, aside from it not being a train module but a train ability.]
[Moreover, unlike the Advanced Energy Forcefield, the External World Armor used world origin, and so it possessed even greater defensive capabilities. It was tantamount to having multiple worlds covering the Zenith Train and taking the brunt of the damage before it could reach the train.]
[Even most Peak Aether rank powerhouses wouldn’t be able to pierce through the External World Armor. At least, Old MacDonald, Morvane, Magnus, and Cecilia were incapable of doing so.]
[After all, three of them didn’t excel in combat. On the other hand, Morvane’s specialty was inflicting death on his targets, so his rule-based ability was high, but his destructive power wasn’t that impressive.]
[But even so, it was only when compared to you and the rest of the stronger Zenith Train Crewmates. Compared to the average Peak Aether rank powerhouses, Old MacDonald and the others were way stronger than them.]
[However, it did prove the defense of the External World Armor.]
[Only you, Jade, and Scarlet were capable of piercing through it in one hit. Even Astraea could only wear down the External World Armor and cause continuous damage that exceeded the External World Armor’s repair speed.]
[Aside from those three train abilities, the Zenith Train also acquired four new train modules, which were World Buster Cannon, Speed Booster, Star Laser, and Petrifying Eye.]
[Except for Speed Booster, the rest were turrets. Speed Booster could be used to consume more train fuel to temporarily boost the travel speed of the train.]
[Depending on the amount of energy consumed, the speed boost could go as high as five times the train’s speed.]
[In other words, if you were to make use of Speed Booster, the Zenith Train could literally travel 4 times the speed of light!]
[If not for the Formless Void Vessel, which allowed the Zenith Train to have no physical form and mass, traveling at the speed of light via pure physical speed would be impossible in a universe governed by the laws of physics.]
[Fortunately, the Formless Void Vessel solved such a problem, which allowed the Zenith Train to travel that fast without requiring infinite energy.]
[Of course, if it were in a universe governed by magical laws and such, then Formless Void Vessel wouldn’t be needed since the laws of physics would no longer restrict anyone within such a universe.]
[Aside from the Speed Booster, the World Buster Cannon, Star Laser, and Petrifying Eye were powerful train turrets that improved the Zenith Train’s DPS.]
[The World Buster Cannon was an energy cannon capable of piercing through a planet’s core, causing the projectile to inject more energy than the planet’s gravitational binding energy. It would result in the planet completely dispersing, with no large fragments remaining.]
[Although due to it being a cannon, its attack speed wasn’t that fast. But with its attack power, the damage it could deal could kill and obliterate a Peak Aether rank powerhouse if a clean hit was landed.]
[As for the Star Laser, it was a laser that harnessed the power of the stars. Unlike the World Buster Cannon, the Star Laser had lower attack power, but it was a turret that relied on charging and channeling its attack.]
[If enough time was given, the Star Laser could even let out a ray of doom that could cut a dwarf star in half!]
