Chapter 381: Chapter 332: Chaochao
A sound like a roaring tsunami thundered across the land: "Heaven bless Zhang Shuai! Congratulations to Zhang Shuai! And congratulations to the Little Princess on her great breakthrough in cultivation!"
The old man was truly dumbfounded.
He never imagined that the cartoon cards he’d casually bought—the kind all kids love—would actually allow his precious granddaughter to achieve enlightenment!
It was similar to a sudden epiphany in cultivation, which would grant a divine ability upon its completion.
But his granddaughter had so many of these cards. ’With such a chaotic mixture,’ he thought, ’won’t it have a negative impact on her?’
The old man grew worried.
However, the phenomenon Chaochao had created only grew more world-shaking. A five-colored divine light descended from the heavens, blanketing the entire region.
Within the divine light floated images of a place like the Immortal Realm.
The Immortal Realm was filled with magnificently dressed celestial maidens, as well as divine birds and immortal cranes.
The other rival factions also saw the cosmic phenomenon, but it was centered over Zhang Shuai’s territory.
They were resentful, but utterly helpless.
In these chaotic times, everyone wants to be king!

Even in the criminal underworld.
But as they watched the Zhang Family’s power grow stronger and the territory they controlled expand, how could they possibly be willing to accept it?
So, the leaders of two such factions began to meet in secret, plotting to join forces and attack the Zhang Family. They absolutely could not allow the Zhang Family to grow any stronger.
Otherwise, all that awaited them was annihilation!

When Wen Ying thought of Chaochao, she couldn’t help but dwell on it. A smile appeared on her face, as if she had sensed something in her heart.
This smile wasn’t like the ones Wen Ying wore in the mental hospital; it was an expression of genuine, heartfelt joy.
"I know everyone is very concerned about Chaochao. She is indeed very happy, and one day she will see her mother again."
Wen Ying paused for a moment. "And perhaps we, too, will see Chaochao again."
The chat exploded!
[What does Doctor Wen mean? Chaochao is going to be resurrected???]
[’When a person dies, it’s like a lamp going out.’ Is resurrection even a real thing?]
[Just what kind of world is this? I don’t think I can call myself a materialist anymore!]

[If Chaochao can be resurrected, does that mean anyone who’s died can be brought back to life?]
[I still don’t believe the dead can be resurrected! Did Doctor Wen mean something else? Did we misunderstand?]
At the Qin Family estate, the key family members were gathered in the main hall, also watching Doctor Wen’s livestream.
Chaochao’s mother was already weeping silently as she heard everyone discussing Chaochao.
The other members of the Qin Family, however, were unmoved. They even felt this Doctor Wen was spouting utter nonsense!
’That little mongrel is already dead. How could she come back to life?’
’If something like that were really possible, this streamer wouldn’t be where she is now!’
’She’d be under government control!’
"Qin Chao, this woman clearly has some ability. You should ask her what she really means. Can the dead truly be resurrected? Considering your grandfather’s former status, if he were brought back, our Qin Family could rise even higher."
"That’s right, Qin Chao. You’re part of the Qin Family now. You can’t just enjoy everything the family provides and not be willing to do anything in return, can you?"
"We know you’re heartbroken over your daughter, but she’s already dead, isn’t she? If she really could come back to life, we would even be willing to let her return to the Qin Family. What do you say?"
Chaochao’s mother shook her head. "I don’t know if it’s true."
’She wouldn’t tell these people that Doctor Wen once said she and her daughter would meet again.’
’Every last one of them had ulterior motives. They looked down on Doctor Wen yet still wanted to use her, acting so high and mighty, as if everyone else should be groveling at their feet.’

’If her elderly parents weren’t so worried about her, she never would have returned to this family.’
"We know you don’t know. We just need you to ask this Doctor Wen. You’re not going to refuse, are you? Everyone outside knows you’re the long-lost daughter of the Qin Family. We can choose not to ask what you’ve been doing out there using the Qin Family’s influence, but you *must* get us this information! Or else!"
Chaochao’s mother sighed. "I’ll try."
’When Doctor Wen had her return to the Qin Family, she had explicitly told her that she needed to pave the way for Chaochao.’
’That was why she had now adapted to her role in the Qin Family and had begun using the family’s connections to get things done.’
’She knew that the Qin Family was aware of what she was doing.’
’She didn’t want to lose those connections, so she had to be obedient. At least for now.’
[Doctor Wen, I’m Chaochao’s mother. Can my Chaochao really be resurrected?]
Chaochao’s mother was very calm as she sent this message.
[Chaochao’s mother is watching the stream too? Doctor Wen, please tell her the answer! She’s just a mother who wants to see her daughter again.]
[That’s gotta be fake, right? If that was really Chaochao’s mother, would she be able to send a message so calmly?]
Wen Ying looked at the message and said softly, "Chaochao’s mother, long time no see."
