Chapter 2665: Chapter 138: Pushed Into the Water
With such a figure, paired with a charming face, and a seemingly innocent white swimsuit, she exuded a natural allure.
From the moment she appeared, many of the male colleagues couldn’t help but shift their gazes from Molly Wellington to Stella Brown.
Secretary Wellington was indeed beautiful, but her beauty was too cold and domineering, making people only dare to admire from a distance.
However, Stella Brown was different. Wearing a white swimsuit made her appear soft and approachable, and she lacked the authoritative presence that Molly Wellington had in her work and life.
Her clumsiness and cuteness instead made men feel safe and more willing to approach.
Just like that, Stella Brown immediately received the attention of all the men present the moment she appeared.
She sat by the swimming pool, dipped her feet into the water, and immediately had attentive male colleagues bringing her drinks, liquor, snacks, and barbecue.
It wasn’t just the male colleagues from Royal Palace; even those from Loyalty Group came to fawn over the beauty.
Stella Brown enjoyed the attention, her eyes seemingly unintentionally glancing over at Molly Wellington, hoping to catch a glimpse of her jealousy.
Unfortunately, Molly Wellington didn’t even look at Stella Brown the entire time.
She remained seated by the barbecue grill, serving everyone alongside Ray Mckinley, focused on grilling.
"Hmph, she’s just pretending to be busy because she can’t gain others’ support," Stella Brown thought bitterly to herself.
Then she regretted that such a good opportunity tonight was wasted because Abraham Redington didn’t show up.
Redington Young Master... it would have been wonderful if he hadn’t left.
...
"It’s about time. Mr. Mckinley, I’ll be leaving first," Molly Wellington said after grilling by the pool for a while, feeling that she had stayed long enough and stood up to say goodbye.
She truly had a ’pool dizziness’ syndrome.
Every time she saw the shimmering water in the swimming pool, she felt a wave of fear.
Ray Mckinley noticed Molly’s delicate face turning slightly pale and guessed that she might be recalling a bad memory from the past, so he nodded, "Hmm, I’ll take care of things here. Secretary Wellington, go back and rest. Get some sleep early..."
Molly nodded gratefully.
Just as she carefully maneuvered around the barbecue grill and walked towards the poolside, her arm was suddenly grabbed from behind.
"Secretary Wellington, everyone is getting into the water, come join us..."
Unexpectedly, the person pulling her was Stella Brown.
At that moment, Stella Brown had just come out of the pool, her white swimsuit clinging transparently to her wet body.
Under the lights, Molly Wellington could even see the flesh color beneath.
Yet, Stella Brown seemed completely unaware, holding onto Molly and refusing to let her leave, even trying to drag her into the water.
Stella Brown certainly didn’t want Molly Wellington to steal her spotlight; she just wanted Molly to make a fool of herself.
Before coming, Stella Brown had specifically used waterproof makeup to do her face, so even after getting wet, her makeup wouldn’t smudge.
While observing Molly grilling by the barbecue for so long, she eagerly waited for Molly’s makeup to smear.
But Stella Brown didn’t know that Molly only had a basic layer of BB cream, a slight touch on her eyebrows, and a dab of muted red lipstick; nothing else was applied.
So, after waiting for ages, Stella Brown never saw Molly’s makeup smudge as she had hoped.
Such a great opportunity, how could she not let Molly be embarrassed!
So, taking advantage of the fact that everyone had been drinking and were in a playful mood today, Stella Brown decided to use her drunkenness as an excuse to pull Molly Wellington into the water.
Stella Brown had it all planned out: pushing Molly into the pool and even holding her head underwater.
Letting her hair become a mess, and her makeup get ruined.
