Luo Ming was completely stunned.

After Luo Ming finished, Xiao Xixi grew anxious as well.

"Don’t panic just yet. I’ll call Dr. Qin right now and see what he wants to do."

Qin Donglai was also stunned after hearing the news.

Qin Donglai immediately called Lu Xuejun and got straight to the point, asking him to take the patients back.

"Dr. Qin, is the Emergency Surgery Department trying to play a joke on us over here in Hepatobiliary?"

"You’re the ones who requested these patients, and now you’re telling me you want to send them back."

"If our ORs were free and we had staff to spare, it would be a different story. But as it stands, it’s just not possible. You’ll have to figure this out within your own department."

After hanging up, Lu Xuejun felt the whole thing was bizarre. ’Could Director Cai have misjudged him?’

’That Dr. Wu Ting seems so methodical and thorough in his actions. How could he have been involved in such a ridiculous mix-up?’

When Qin Donglai hung up the phone, his brow was deeply furrowed.

Clearly, Wu Ting was the culprit behind this whole mess.
