Chapter 1264: Chapter 842: Late Night Chat_2
Jiang Nian hurried back while replying to Li Hua’s messages.
"Busy with a date."
Li Hua sent a series of question marks, "Isn’t the class president in Beijing, and Zhang Ningzhi in Haikou, who are you meeting for....."
"What the heck?"
He sent several shocked emojis, "You dog, you’re unbelievable, Chi Shi!"
Jiang Nian couldn’t be bothered to reply and asked a question.
"If you have something urgent, say it quickly."
After a while, Li Hua called. After hesitating for a bit, it turned out there was actually something.
"I thought since exams are over, I haven’t gone back to see Old Liu. I wanted to ask when you’re free to go together."
Jiang Nian looked confused, "What’s there to see with Old Liu? He’s about to become a director, he won’t have time to see you."
"You’re going to see him?"
"Standing by the office door for a while, people might think a stray dog got in from outside, and they might collar you."
"Chi....." Li Hua hesitated for a while and finally told the truth, "I was thinking of going back to see Qianbao."
Jiang Nian: "???"
"You unbelievable... seriously, Li Hua. You went out to work during the summer break and suddenly remembered Qianbao?"
"Damn!!" Li Hua exclaimed on the phone, "Do you think I want this? I’m surrounded by girls."
"Not a normal one amongst them, Chi Shi."
Jiang Nian thought to himself that he also hadn’t seen Qingbao much either, maybe he could drop by when he goes back to Zhen Nan.
"Alright then."
....
Night fell.
Jiang Nian returned to his place, this time with a new group of people moving in. Thankfully there was no one next door, or else the neighbors would find it hard to manage.
This kind of loft is essentially divided into two, and the soundproofing isn’t great.
And Wang Yuhe was noisier than intended, sometimes really boisterous, she couldn’t help herself.
Knock, knock, knock, a knock on the door.
"You’re back?" Chen Yunyun seemed to have just woken up, she must have fallen asleep in boredom in the afternoon around four.
"Yeah, let’s go out to eat." In Jiang Nian’s place, cooking wasn’t an option, and he never bothered with it.
"Yay! Food!" Wang Yuhe sat up from the couch, which had already been folded into a bed.
"Why didn’t you sleep in the loft?" Jiang Nian looked puzzled, did he leave too quickly and forget to remind them?
"Didn’t bathe." Chen Yunyun pursed her lips.
Jiang Nian opened his mouth, but then swallowed back the fact that he had spare sheets and bedding.
"Alright, let’s eat first."
They went out for hot pot, with the two girls paying. A meal over two hundred wasn’t too pricey for three people.
After dinner, they wandered around, bought some things, and returned to the place.
As soon as Jiang Nian got home, he instinctively lay down. But since the sofa was expanded, he just leaned on the chair, playing on his phone.
"Go shower."
"Okay." Wang Yuhe didn’t try to hide it, pulling out her underwear from the bag, "Yunyun, want to join?"
Jiang Nian glimpsed from the corner of his eye, comparing it to the impression he had. He couldn’t help but marvel again.
Truly blessed with natural beauty.
"Okay." Chen Yunyun peeked from the loft, responded, and prepared to grab clothes from her bag.
"Shower together? Yunyun." Wang Yuhe waved.
"Huh?"
Chen Yunyun hesitated for a moment, glanced at Jiang Nian, "I... I’d better wait a bit to shower."
"Why?" Wang Yuhe stood in the middle of the living room, her eyes wide, "The bathroom is spacious."
"I...." She couldn’t find a good excuse, simply feeling inexplicably shy.
After all, the bathroom was just a wall away from Jiang Nian.
"The bathroom drains slowly, two people showering at once might clog it." Jiang Nian interjected, helping her out.
"Oh." Wang Yuhe didn’t give it much thought, holding her clothes as she headed to the bathroom, "I’ll shower quickly then."
Washing hair and showering takes some time too.
In the living room, only Jiang Nian and Chen Yunyun were left, with the latter appearing a bit at a loss.
"You...."
Before the sentence finished, the bathroom door flung open with a clatter.
"Yunyun, pass me the towel."
"Okay." Chen Yunyun’s heart raced, she glanced at Jiang Nian while turning, "Let me find it."
At the bathroom door, Wang Yuhe had just wet her hair. Bent over, her head dropped like that of a ghost.
Jiang Nian adjusted his angle slightly, catching a brief glimpse of a vertical line, quickly obscured by hair.
He moved discreetly two steps over.
When Chen Yunyun came over, she didn’t notice anything off, quickly handing over the towel and exhaling in relief.
The next second, Jiang Nian had already leaned over.
Shh~
"Mmm~"
A faint whimper stopped abruptly at its outset, drowned out by the bathroom’s water sounds.
Chen Yunyun felt light-headed, swayed into Jiang Nian’s rhythm, even lifted onto the desk.
Fortunately, the desktop was empty, save for a computer.
Jiang Nian pressed against Chen Yunyun’s hips, slowly pushed backward, sliding the laptop away, his hand started to wander.
Freely taking in without hindrance.
But given the thin walls, with Chen Yunyun’s shyness, he dared not go too far.
After a brief kneading, he released her.
After a little separation, he smiled at her. Then leaned close, lightly brushing her lips.
Added another minute, reluctantly ending it.
"Shhh." He said.
Chen Yunyun’s cheeks flushed bright red. Even with a good temper, she couldn’t help but feel a bit bashful and annoyed, nibbling her lower lip.
"You...."
As the water sounds from the bathroom diminished, she dared not say much, just gave Jiang Nian a quick glare.
.....
Late at night.
All three had finished washing up, the two girls in the loft. Jiang Nian still slept on the sofa, already familiar with it.
His hands behind his head, not overthinking anymore.
Casually scrolling through his phone, he confirmed the route, tickets, and hotel for the girls’ short trip the next day were all set.
To him, arranging these wasn’t trouble.
Bzzz!!
A message popped up, showing it was from Li Qingrong, just a simple smiley emoji.
Jiang Nian: "What’s up?"
"Nothing, can’t sleep." Li Qingrong replied, "My sister’s been busy again lately (smile)."
Seeing this, Jiang Nian felt a bit awkward. Last time while Li Lanying was on a business trip, they went wild for two days.
This time, with the main person there...
"Is your sister going on a business trip?" He was about to send, then hesitated, realizing it sounded like a cliché line.
After contemplating a bit, Jiang Nian replied.
"What’s your sister busy with?"
Li Qingrong: "I don’t know, I just miss you."
Jiang Nian: "Alright."
For the moment, he couldn’t make any promises. After all, it was uncertain, only offering a general assurance.
Ending the chat, Jiang Nian covered his phone, staring at the dark ceiling, sighing softly.
Thinking about getting a place in Beijing.
Every visit felt temporary. The class president lived with her sister, visiting didn’t seem right.
Quite inconvenient....
Couldn’t keep rushing around for that. Neglecting meals, walks, and all other pleasures.
Okay for now, but problems might arise in the long run.
He pondered over these matters, considering how to use his first earnings. To set off again and earn a substantial amount back.
Suddenly, there was noise from the loft.
"Hey, Jiang Nian!"
Wang Yuhe whispered sneakily, leaning on the loft railing, peering down, and quietly asked.
"Are you sleepy?"
"Hmm?" Jiang Nian sat up from the sofa bed, thinking she needed something, "Not really, why?"
"Join us for a chat." Wang Yuhe’s eyes sparkled, "Yunyun and I love chatting after lights-out."
Jiang Nian: "....."
Never thought the day would come. He could join in on girl dorm chats, though lacking Yu Zhiyi.
Otherwise, it would be a perfect four-person room.
"What about?" He asked.
"College life, wondering what Beijing’s like." Wang Yuhe spoke with enthusiasm, her tone excited.
Chen Yunyun spoke less, occasionally chiming in.
"Seems like we’ve been assigned to the new campus, quite far from your school, over thirty kilometers."
Jiang Nian casually joined in, offering some advice and comforting the two girls a bit.
Gradually, the room fell silent.
Middle of the night.
Wang Yuhe, half-asleep, having chatted too much during the night talk, felt thirsty, drank water, and was now woken by nature’s call.
With no choice, she had to quietly get up.
Carefully moving, inch by inch, she descended the loft stairs, tiptoeing towards the bathroom.
