Chapter 436: Chapter 436: Saying I Love You From This Moment On (36)

After their passionate encounter, the woman had been utterly conquered by the man.

She lay limply against his shoulder, not even wanting to move. The man, in turn, lifted a hand to cup her bottom, carrying her back to the private lounge.

The man placed her on the bed before lying down on the outer edge. He reached out, pulling her into his arms, his handsome brow still slightly furrowed.

The thought of someone breaking into his office tonight filled him with rage.

’It seems this woman can’t be kept here any longer.’

He turned on his side, holding her tightly. The emotions in his eyes were complex. ’Perhaps it’s time to find a house for her to move into...’

The next day, Jason Lockwood gave Jasmine Warren the day off.

He said it was a reward for her "services" the previous night.

Jasmine Warren snatched his car keys and black card. She raised her fist triumphantly and threatened in a cold voice, "Jason Lockwood, if I don’t max out your card, I’m not coming back!"

"Then I’ll be waiting with bated breath!" Jason Lockwood’s lips curved in amusement. He fought back a laugh for a long moment before looking up to reply in an equally cold, deep voice.

"Just you wait!"

As he watched the woman storm out, the smile on Jason Lockwood’s face gradually faded. He raised a hand and tapped his fingers lightly on the desk, a sinister chill filling his eyes.

Less than two minutes later, his assistant, Ash, knocked on the door. He had brought two men in black suits with him.

"The Baron!"

Jason Lockwood looked up at them, his voice as cold as frost. "Has he been behaving since he went back?"

"He’s been behaving, for the most part. After he went back, Master Monroe has only gambled a few small hands with his friends. He hasn’t caused any other trouble."

"Good. Have someone keep a close eye on him. He absolutely cannot be allowed to go out and cause trouble, especially right now."

"Yes, sir."

Jason Lockwood’s lips twisted into a vicious smirk. He pulled a photograph from his drawer and tossed it onto the desk. "Handle these two," he said in a low voice. "I don’t want to ever see them again, in any corner of this world."

"Yes, sir."

Watching the two men leave with the photograph, Ash couldn’t quite process what had just happened. The Baron hadn’t stated it outright, but the meaning behind his words sent a shiver through his entire being.

’In any corner of this world...’

Just then, Jason Lockwood’s gaze shifted to Ash. "What are you still doing here?" he barked coldly. "Get out!"

"Yes, sir."

As Ash was leaving, Jason Lockwood’s brow furrowed, and he called out coldly, "Stop!"

"The Baron!" A chill ran down Ash’s spine as he turned back around, his voice sharp.

"Ash, find a secluded villa. Somewhere relatively remote. I need it done fast. She has to be able to move in by tomorrow!"

"Yes, sir."

After Ash left, Jason Lockwood leaned back in his chair, his wicked eyes narrowing slightly. ’Threaten me? Then they can go to hell!’

No one in this world had ever been able to threaten him, and he would never allow anyone who did to continue living in it...

「Newcroft, Villa District.」

Tristan Grayson had his arm around Mika Summers, who in turn had her arm around Kiki. The three of them were sitting on the sofa, watching *Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf*.

Mika Summers glanced at the clock on the wall. She couldn’t help but frown and ask in a low voice, "Don’t you have to go to the office?"

"Ian Shaw is there."

"Well then... don’t you think we’re being incredibly boring right now?" Ever since they got back the night before last, Tristan Grayson had been practically inseparable from her.

Yesterday, the three of them had spent the entire day watching cartoons. ’Are we really going to do the same thing all day today?’

Tristan Grayson thought for a moment and nodded. "It is indeed quite boring." As he said this, Tristan stood up and reached out to lift her from the sofa.
