Chapter 5179: The Serpents In Distress

As the two Nine-Headed Hydra royal guards rushed towards Davis, their nine heads all opened their mouths filled with razor-sharp teeth, forming poison, darkness, and water attributed attacks. The four heads to the side surged with poison. The four heads to the other side surged with water, and the head at the center surged with darkness.

The darkness swirled around them, encompassing the poison and water into a terrifying concoction of one of the most terrifying poisons ever known to the world.

But before they could even get halfway, the air froze.

Ice encompassed the Nine-Headed Hydras’ heads. From their nine heads, the ice coursed all the way until they reached the base of their necks, then spread across their thick quadrupedal body along the lines of their serpent-like scales and froze them up their claws over their limbs.

The long tail’s tip was the last one to freeze.

They came to a stop in the airspace as even space became frozen there.

"..."

The Frostcloud Sword Empress heaved a cold breath.

She didn’t even use the sword kept beside her waist to deal with the two Nine-Headed Hydras. She then raised her hand, pulling them closer. The spatial ring on her hand began to glow.

"Courting death!"

Realm Master Felza Nyssadra shrieked, her voice causing the skies to change colors as they tried to sever the pull and bring back.

’Hmm?’

At this moment, Davis noticed a strange karmic attack fall on him.

It was trying to condense his blood, making his pupils quiver as he lowered his head and looked down into the enemy’s forces.

In a camp in the distance, hidden within the crowd of blue-haired beauties, there was an inconspicuous silver-white-haired beauty who seemed to be dirtier than a servant. Her clothes were not luxurious, as she wore ordinary rags.

The moment he saw these blue-haired beauties with peculiar serpent features, his eyes narrowed as he remembered.

Nightshade Ocean Phantasm Clan! Shaddis Clan’s Tsaryn Shaddis and, most importantly, he gazed at the silver-white-haired woman, recognizing her as Ophirya Kaelis!

For a moment, he became dumbfounded, wondering what she was doing here, and then he realized she was brought here as a war slave since most of them were in chains.

’It’s the Oceanic Karmic Usurper Technique she told me about that steals blood essence...’

Davis recognized this technique. He thought for a second before letting her steal it from him karmically.

Below, the blood essence appeared within Ophirya Kaelis’s palms, which she quickly threw into her mouth to hide it.

Then she activated another technique.

Karmic Dreamscape!

"Divine Emperor of Death~"

Davis saw Ophirya Kaelis appear in front of her on the battlefield.

Her expression was one of a cold majesty, a serpentine beauty draped in sapphire silk that shimmered in the aquamarine light. Her long, silver-white hair flowed with an untamed grace. Her dress clung to her figure in elegance, with a plunging cut over her cleavage and waist, revealing both her allure and her mesmerizing figure.

Her lower serpentine body’s scales glistened with azure hues, nearly transcending the color as though she were a statue made up of crystals.

Unlike the Ophirya Kaelis in rags, she appeared here with all her beauty and allure.

He glanced at the Frostcloud Sword Empress and saw that she didn’t notice Ophirya Kaelis, making him understand that this was a dreamscape projected by Ophirya Kaelis.

"I’m honored that you trust-"

"Make it fast, Priestess." Davis sent her a soul transmission, "We might not have time since I assume this isn’t a real dreamscape."

"Yes~ I don’t dare pull you into a real dreamscape when it’s so dangerous here."

Ophirya Kaelis bowed, "The Hydra Galaxy’s forces have imprisoned my clan. If you can save the Nightshade Ocean Phantasm Clan and me, I promise to be completely at your service. I, as the Priestess of the Nightshade Ocean Phantasm Clan, implore you to save us!~"

"..."

Davis gazed around, noticing danger was nearing before he opened his mouth, "Quickly move to the frontlines."

"...!?"

Ophirya Kaelis’s heart sank.

He was telling them to go die? To go serve as a meat grinder like the innumerable beast and fey clans out here?

"Trust me."

"..." Ophirya Kaelis’s gaze shook.

She then nodded heavily and dispersed from his view.

Their exchange barely lasted a few seconds. When he came back to himself, he saw that the two precious, still alive yet frozen Nine-Headed Hydras were lost.

Realm Master Felza Nyssadra brought the two frozen Nine-Headed Hydras back to her without using her true might since it would infuriate someone.

The Frostcloud Sword Empress also didn’t force it.

She merely smiled and turned to look back as the veil over her face danced, swaying lightly.

The Celestial Transcendent stood before her, his gaze unusually solemn.

He could sense an extreme chill over his neck as he felt like his head was on the verge of being lopped off right now, truly making him wonder where this extraordinary sword cultivator came from.

How could these Divergents stay hidden for so long? At least, their names or titles should’ve been known, right?

Staying within range, and he knew with one look.

Level Three Obscure Intent of Imposing Sword Laws - Sword Quintessence!

An Utmost Law, which means, another Realm Breaker!

Considering she was in the Alpha Exalt Stage, she might even be barely capable of killing World Hegemon with her sword by expending all her Will in one strike, but unfortunately, this was the Upper Realm Space.

No matter how she used her Will to empower her sword, it wasn’t going to go above the layer limit, or she’d risk being thrown out by the forces from the Void Dimension.

"Tsk, tsk, don’t be staring at my wife’s master like that. I will snitch to your wife."

At this moment, a dislikeable voice echoed from the side, causing him to stare at Davis.

"What are you doing here?"

The Celestial Transcendent asked. After killing and sealing Davis shortly, he planned to use his bloodsoul to trace other bodies like this, but one of it already come to him- to the battlefield- where peak experts were common as clouds and had even died earlier in the past few days.

For a moment, he couldn’t understand what this youngster was thinking, making him feel extremely intrigued, but he had to suppress this feeling because he was the Celestial Transcendent.

In the distance, Realm Master Felza Nyssadra clicked her tongue nine times because of her nine heads.

She saw that the Celestial Transcendent got to them first and thought she had no chance. However, she didn’t want to give up.

"Realm Masters, it’s time for you all to step up."

She overlooked the five other Realm Masters who set up their own tents and camps, being served by innumerable servants and slaves as they simply enjoyed their lives here as though not caring what happened on the battlefield.

Some of them forced themselves upon female soldiers from the opposing army, making her incredibly jealous that she didn’t get any male soldiers to enjoy.

As the Supreme Commander of this army, she didn’t have the luxury to look away, or else the Hell Hydra Monarch would have her head.

Realm Master Daimmune Nyssadra harrumphed as he stood up from feasting on a human woman after a carnal dance, causing a few slaves’ heads to burst, blood splattering into the ground.

The mouths of his nine hydra heads looked bloody, and a few of his heads plunged into the woman’s abdomen as they devoured whatever was left of her dantian, finding it delicious.

There were as many as forty skeletal remains of human women to the side, as though they were spat out after being eaten.

"Can’t even deal with one little human at the Empyrean Stage? You should just get married to one single man all your life."

He, along with many others, rose to the skies as their sizes grew while Realm Master Felza Nyssadra raged as she shrieked at them.

However, she didn’t stop them from watching them head towards the Divine Emperor of Death and the Celestial Transcendent.
