Chapter 461: Chapter 164: The Discomfited Great Revered One! Daoist Priest Fan, a Match for the Evil God (A 10,000-word Mega Chapter, Please Subscribe)_4

The Great Revered One’s disordered body underwent another mutation.

In the blink of an eye, it transformed into a giant statue! The statue was constructed from mounds of flesh, covered with disgustingly sticky pus. Three arms emerged on its left side and another three on the right, all created from the accumulation of flesh mounds.

In the palms of all six arms were held masses of giant black energy. The Great Revered One simultaneously swung its six arms in the direction of Fan Wu, sending the six masses of black energy hurtling towards him at high speed.

Fan Wu’s figure flashed, dodging one of the bizarre clumps of black energy, only to see it smash into the mountain behind him.

Boom, boom, boom!!!

The mountain trembled, and a huge crater appeared on its surface as if it had been struck by a meteorite from outer space.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

The remaining five clumps of black energy were already perilously close, but Fan Wu violently slashed one of them in half with his sword. The two halves of the black energy flew past him on either side.

Boom, boom, boom!!!

Boom, boom, boom!!!

The mountain behind Fan Wu suffered another undeserved calamity as two more significant craters appeared on its face.

But of course, Fan Wu paid no attention to the feelings of a mountain.

The muscles in his arms were tensed to the breaking point, the veins beneath his skin trembling violently as he swung his sword, shattering the three masses of black energy that were coming straight for him.

Looking at the last oncoming clump of black energy, Fan Wu didn’t use the Demon-slaying Sword. Instead, he held the sword in one hand and clenched his other hand into a fist, punching out fiercely.

At the moment his fist collided with the black energy,

the spiritual shadow of the Ghost-Killing Path behind him also threw out a punch at the same time.

The mass of black energy was instantly dispersed!

Vanishing into the heavens and earth.

Fan Wu’s eyes narrowed suddenly, for he noticed that The Great Revered One in front of him had disappeared without a trace. At that moment, he seemed to sense some strange disturbance overhead.

Fan Wu immediately lifted his head, looking straight up above him.

He saw the massive figure of The Great Revered One.

Suspended in mid-air.

Then, he watched in horror as The Great Revered One’s unknown number of tons of colossal body plummeted directly towards him. The six arms of The Great Revered One clasped six distinctly different seals, with each arm surrounded by masses of black energy.

Boom!!!

Each distinct seal, even before making contact with Fan Wu, erupted with an incredibly terrifying power, making Fan Wu feel as if a mountain was bearing down on him from above.

Every inch of his body was bearing a colossal force, causing spots of fresh blood to ooze from his skin.

The ground beneath Fan Wu’s feet cracked open, the broken earth pulverized under the visible shockwaves.

Fan Wu’s hair began to break inch by inch!

In the blink of an eye, his hair was shortened by nearly a fifth of its length!

Fan Wu stabbed his sword into the ground beneath his feet, which had turned to dust.

If the ground beneath turned to dust,

logically, stabbing his sword into it would not stabilize his stance. However, he did just that, remaining unshakably in place despite the terrifying onslaught of force, though his body continued to sink downward.

Bang!!!!!

The ground caved in creating a horrific pit several hundred meters in diameter, so deep it appeared to be several dozen meters deep.

After The Great Revered One’s strike landed, it did not stop there. Its six palms reformed six masses of black energy, ruthlessly hurling them down at Fan Wu, who was now at the bottom of the deep pit.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Six consecutive thunderous bangs, creating intense sound waves that could shatter steel, enclosed Fan Wu at the bottom of the pit with no avenue for evasion in any direction.

He had no choice but to endure the onslaught!

The consecutive six hits from The Great Revered One, still unyielding, continued without holding back, possibly fearing that restraint might lead to unexpected disasters. The statue-like body of The Great Revered One ejected numerous thick chains, each chain formed from the accumulation of flesh mounds.

The Great Revered One, located directly above the center of the huge pit, had chains bursting from its body and landing around the pit’s edges, enclosing it like a birdcage.

The chains, piled up and cemented from flesh mounds, severed their connection to the body of The Great Revered One. Seated cross-legged and suspended above the Chains Cage, its lips moved, opening and closing.

Obscure and indecipherable incantations spilled out from its lips sentence by sentence. Simultaneously, its six arms continued to form a variety of different seals with its hands.

The Chains Cage began to show one twisted black rune after another, each surrounded by faintly shimmering light.

In the darkness of the night, one could plainly see how grotesque and twisted these black runes were.

"Seize!" The Great Revered One suddenly bellowed!

The numerous chains that formed the Chains Cage began to contract rapidly, and as the bizarre, twisted runes surrounding it multiplied, they attempted to crush Fan Wu to death inside the cage!

The sound of the flesh mounds colliding and compressing together was, unbelievably, akin to the clashing of steel.
