Chapter 59: Marching to the Palace Protected Even From An Ant

Green oval leaves drifted upward, catching on Levi’s black trousers as he turned a calm gaze toward Agnes, Central City’s Witch. "Lead us to the palace."

Mother Beatrice’s white prayer robe rustled softly as she raised her right hand and placed it on Levi’s shoulder. "But Master..."

Her fingers trembled slightly on Levi’s skin while Levi shifted a side look at her. "What?"

He blinked at Mother Beatrice’s trembling fingers, then lowered his gaze to her slightly paled face. "You can choose to stay, join Lilith and the new lovebirds, or join us to welcome our victory."

The gravel beneath their boots groaned as Levi slowly slid his hands from Mother Beatrice and Maya Sirius’s shoulders, then turned toward Senna.

Faint green glows seeped out of Agnes’s eyes as she held her daughter’s hands and pulled her along.

Senna’s eyebrows furrowed as she saw the faint glows emitting from the witch. ’Think she’s going to submit a price.’

She clicked her tongue, then sighed warmly. Her eyes closed and opened for a second as she turned to Levi, then smiled. "Master, they are already taking the route."

"I know..." Levi stood still for a moment and fixed his sharp gaze on Agnes’s dangling hair as she walked with her daughter. ’The Aegis is nothing to my system.’

His brown hair shifted across his forehead as he moved two steps forward, shoving his hands into his pockets.

Senna Drae’s eyes narrowed for a second as she glanced at Mother Beatrice. ’Is there something she isn’t saying?’

A cold lump formed in Senna’s throat as she swallowed hard and shifted her gaze away. ’Well, we’ve nothing to lose.’

Her sharp fingernails tapped against the blades of her black jagged dagger with a metallic ring as she began following Levi.

Dust swirled up at Maya Sirius’s front as she moved a step forward. The hems of her crimson robe swept across the cobblestone road and pushed the tiny green leaves spiraling upward.

A sweet honey fragrance drifted from her wine-colored hair as it swayed through the air toward Mother Beatrice’s face.

The sleeves of Mother Beatrice’s white prayer robe squeezed themselves slightly on her wrists as she lifted her arms and looked at her palms. ’Should I tell him?’

Her soft, heavy breasts wobbled beneath the chest sleeve of the prayer robe as she lowered her arms and shook her head. ’There is no need now.’

Warm air rattled through her lungs as she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath.

All the gravel at her front began to move sideways as she began walking forward, following the path the Witch and her daughter were taking them.

Faint rain drizzled from the red glows in the sky, dropping to the ground with soft, bursting thuds.

White birds with three tail feathers and snakelike eyes drifted across the skies of the palace, the Duke’s tower. Tiny feathers lingered out of their wings and rolled in the air until they landed on the golden dome protecting the palace from unauthorized entry.

Twenty soldiers stopped at the front of the golden dome with a sharp click of their boots, sweating heavily.

Those with heavy breasts had them bouncing and straining against the fabric as they bent down, panting.

A white-haired lewd lady cleared her throat loudly from the front row, straightening herself.

The golden beam reflected in her silver eyes as she walked three steps toward it. "I, Agatha..."

She placed her palm on her raised chest and pressed her palm hard against her soft, heavy breasts. "The third in command to Shallot, and a senior mage, stand before their aid and ask you to let us in."

A faint trail of sweat snaked down her forehead to her chin as she exhaled once and placed her right palm on the golden dome.

The moment the bead of sweat hanging on her chin dropped down and clashed on the ground, a deafening splattering sound blasted through the sky.

Faint sparkling lights flashed out from twenty feet high above the dome when she drew her palm from the glass surface.

White feathers that were resting on the dome all began to rain on Agatha and the remaining nineteen mages, while the dome slowly split open.

A chaotic air carrying the intensity of the aftermath of a tornado flashed on Agatha’s face as the crack on the dome widened.

Her lewd combat armor plopped as the crushing air forced its way into her body, making her mouth and eyes bloat at an uneven angle.

The gravel beneath her began to scream as she stumbled a few steps back with her hazy vision. Just as she was about to trip and fall, two of the nineteen mages rushed forward and anchored her.

Agatha’s heart plummeted hard against her ribcage as she used the momentum of her colleagues to anchor herself. ’I never knew this is what Shallot and Nyx go through every day.’

She shifted a worried gaze to her trembling right arm, then slowly lowered it to her side. ’I don’t have to make them see my weakness.’

Her throat tightened painfully as she gulped and glanced at the half-joyful and half-confused faces of her colleagues. ’Shallot would have done better. But...’

A bright white glow carrying the scent of wealth flashed on her face and calmed her in seconds. ’...she might be among the dead by now.’

The shallow shaft that had appeared in the golden beam began to expand per the number of mages as Agatha stood by the opening and directed them one after another.

The distinct melody of birds chirping drifted into her ears when the last mage with an elevated ass and a body that looked similar to Shallot entered; Agatha sighed.

The shaft closed behind her when she entered and took back its protective shell, stopping even an ant from entering from underground.

Agatha’s white hair cascaded down her back as she lifted her gaze to the bright sky above her and smiled. ’I thought I might not see this again, but guess fate had other plans.’

A rich aroma of lavender filled her lungs as she closed her eyes and inhaled the sweet air drifting through the compound of the palace, the Duke’s Castle of towers.
