Chapter 1443: Chapter 52: Kill Her

Fisher didn’t expect Pisces to directly sketch out the image of Tangze Asuka. Amidst the mist formed by the waving tentacles, standing before Fisher at this moment was a silhouette as tall as the Tangze Asuka in his memory, apart from her facial features and attire being indistinct, it was as if she was genuinely standing before him.

But she wasn’t looking at Fisher; instead, she was holding a Handcane, quietly gazing at the "Moon" some distance away from her, which was the true form of the Mother Goddess.

Regarding the three questions Fisher posed, Pisces gave affirmative answers to the first two, which also confirmed that Magic was indeed taught to humans by the Mother Goddess at the behest of Tangze Asuka. However, there was a lapse in the process, which is why historical magic showed signs of decline and primitiveness, relying on humans to restore it to its original state over time.

At this moment, Fisher, who originally cared about "Mythical Rank Magic," found his heart slowly occupied by the silhouette of the girl before him, unchanged from ten thousand years ago.

Indeed, the Tangze Asuka outlined by Pisces still appeared as youthful as ten thousand years ago, suggesting that the passage of time had left no Trace on these Transferees.

In appearance, she remained a seventeen-year-old, on the brink of adulthood, high school girl, but for some reason, in Fisher’s eyes, Tangze Asuka carried with her an aura far beyond what a girl of her age should possess.

Even though it was merely a phantom shadow, Fisher felt from her an endless fatigue and a certain indescribable sadness.

Fisher wondered what she had experienced during the four millennia apart from him and where she went after that final "homebound journey."

At this thought, Fisher couldn’t help but ask Pisces once more,

"Do you know where this girl who taught Mother Goddess Magic, Tangze Asuka, is now?"

"I... don’t know..."

"Haven’t you met her?"

"There is... pollution... I don’t know... where she went..."

"...How did that pollution come to be?"

"I... don’t know..."

With no answers to three questions, Fisher realized that this powerful Chaos Species could no longer provide him with answers. He couldn’t help feeling some disappointment, but just when he was about to change the topic to magic, Pisces suddenly spoke up again,

"But I... know... she’s still alive..."

Fisher’s eyes brightened, and he quickly raised his head to meet the eyes of Pisces, who remained unwavering in his certainty, looking at Fisher intently.

"How do you know she’s still alive?"

Upon hearing the follow-up question, Pisces didn’t respond immediately but instead took a moment to deliberate as the tentacles within the surrounding mist began to quiver quickly once more.

At the same time, a series of Fischers incomprehensible tones began to rise slowly, like the prelude to a song...

Soon after, Pisces spoke again, a peculiar yet extraordinarily beautiful ballad, as if erupting from the depths of a soul, emanated from the ethereal realm...

And he sang,

"A traveler far from home, a solitary spectator; carrying an endless wait, seeking the meaning of existence."

"Two unequal beings, two equal souls, under the watch of the night sky, forged a precious friendship."

"In the witness of friendship, they gifted each other their most precious presents."

"He revealed the mystery of his Authority to her openly, granting her the power of [infinity]; she shared the intricacies of her Secret Technique with him entirely, bestowing upon him the means to influence the world."

"The cherished epic noted by the audience, the actors on the stage vanished, leaving naught but opened gift boxes behind..."

Amidst this strange ballad, the meaning Pisces wished to impart became exceptionally clear. Fisher could almost effortlessly perceive the tale of time’s passage and the emotions it carried through that song.

The inflow of vast information made Fisher feel a bit of a headache, but it was this very headache that suddenly reminded him of something...

He seemed to have heard a similar form of ballad somewhere before, yet compared to the one now sung by Pisces, that prior song was more intoxicating, more grandiose, like an Ocean aiming to engulf Fisher’s consciousness.

It was seemingly when he broke through to the Mythical Rank at that moment, he had heard a similar melody.

But what that song represented particularly, Fisher still couldn’t discern till now. Perhaps that song was the Chaos itself, resonating due to the Completion Manual within him?

He pondered for a moment, then returned his thoughts to the information Pisces had provided, questioning,

"Are you saying... the gift that the Mother Goddess gave to Asuka, that power of Infinite Authority, still exists, so that means she’s still alive, right?"

"...Yes."

What Pisces said seemed reasonable to Fisher because he still remembered being reminded by Helair in the Northern Realm to recite "Tangze Asuka" to activate the power stored upon the ring he gifted her.

At that time, the original ring number of Dream Magic he inscribed hadn’t yet reached the Mythical Rank, but the revolutions and quality soared to an incalculable magnitude, becoming "infinity."
