Chapter 1370: Chapter 32: Night of the Witch (Part 2)

Upon hearing his words, Fisher seemed to recall that person too, raised his eyebrow, and continued his unfinished sentence,

"Death Lord, Holan Dionysus, that undying Kado person."

"Yes, that’s right! If Erwin is also part of that organization, then it’s highly likely that everyone in that organization keeps a manual documenting forbidden knowledge, right?"

"You’re right, thanks for the help, Emhardt. If that’s the case, Erwin’s manual can be set aside temporarily, and we can focus on the other one, along with the Death Lord’s manual..."

"Absolutely not, I am the great Emhardt!"

"...But this must not be told to Renie, absolutely not."

"Huh?"

Emhardt had just proudly raised his head to accept praise, but after hearing Fisher’s words, he froze on the spot. He looked at Fisher, then at the eerily quiet coast nearby, his voice involuntarily lowered,

"Oh right, Renie doesn’t allow you to read these... Oh no, here I am, foolishly trying to help you find a way, I’m truly a sinner! But even if I don’t say anything, it won’t change; after all, she is the reincarnation of the Mother Goddess, more outrageous than those Demigods like Heavenly Lock. She might already know what we are talking about here."

Fisher scanned the surroundings, then shook his head, saying,

"No, for her to know our situation here, she would need to rely on the Hart Birds, but there are none around now..."

"Hart Birds? Well... okay, in that case, I’ll keep it a secret."

Saying thus, Fisher couldn’t help but feel a bit puzzled while gazing at the quiet sea.

There’s really not a single Hart Bird here, generally speaking, whenever Renie appears, she’s always accompanied by a swarm of Hart Birds, as was the case during her sudden appearance in the Northern Realm last time.

Whenever Hart Birds appeared, Fisher could sense her gaze and presence might be nearby, following those Hart Birds in flight, you’d always find a trace of a mysterious scent, and tracing that scent to its end would lead you to Renie.

Perhaps this time she’s too busy, or maybe her disguise as a witch is no longer necessary in front of Fisher, so she couldn’t be bothered to bring those purple larks?

Nevertheless, Emhardt indeed provided Fisher with a viable idea, the Death Lord Holan simply doesn’t need the Death Completion Manual, nor would he read it. If Fisher wanted it, Holan would surely give it, but unfortunately, there’s no such thing as the manual being given freely, one must wait for the previous owner’s death before it can be transferred.

It seems now Fisher has two prerequisites for obtaining the Death Completion Manual; one is to locate the Death Lord, and the other is to provide a path to death for this "Undying" being.

Fisher has some confidence in the first condition; this guy left him a phone number, not knowing where it’s from, but it counts as a clue. At worst, the Cardinal of Destiny having him search for the missing Tangze Asuka would definitely keep an eye on him. Besides, with her skills as the Creator Society Acting President, finding him shouldn’t be difficult, so the first condition isn’t an issue.

The problem lies in the second point, how to provide the missing death for the Death Lord?

Fisher thought it over, recalling the incidents at Ideal Country, he seemed to have grasped some fleeting clues...

Yet before he could think further, a faint mysterious scent wafted around the tip of his nose again.

He snapped back to attention, even Emhardt on his shoulder coughed lightly, seeming a bit tense, had to quickly fall silent.

"Look, I brought you your clothes."

As expected, the next second, under the cleansing moonlight, the witch clad in a black gauze dress appeared before Fisher once more. She turned her head aside, not looking at Fisher, but her lips bore a subtle sly smile, holding several garments in her left and right hands.

As Fisher saw those garments, Renie tossed them onto him, covering his body, then turned her head around.

"What is this?"

Fisher was slightly taken aback, then incredulously picked up the colorful clothes piled on him. Upon examination, all were women’s attire, and quite peculiar demi-human garments at that.

"Heh heh, I couldn’t find other clothes for you, just make do, since there aren’t any other outsiders here, just us, we’ll have nothing to say even if you put them on."

Fisher’s expression turned dark, but seeing Renie’s mischievous sly smile, he knew this character was throwing a tantrum. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

He sighed, then tossed the clothes into the sea one by one while standing up, saying,

"Even if I wanted to wear these, they’re too small, I’ll have to settle without them for now."

"You...you you you, what did you say, not wearing them?!"

Renie’s expression, just moments ago filled with smugness, instantly turned chaotic upon seeing Fisher gradually standing up, her eyes moved erratically as if losing control, stealing glances back and forth, unsure whether to look or not, her brain and body seemingly vying for control, so contradictory.

Her face instantly turned crimson, her hands raised up shielding both her face and body, speaking to Fisher,
