Chapter 2569: Chapter 1165: Paradise God! (Part 2)

Lin Baici stepped back a few steps for a better view, allowing him to see the mural entirely.

"This puzzle is simple!"

Fang Mingyuan prepared to solve the puzzle. If he could achieve this, he had accomplished something significant when asking Lin Baici for a favor.

"Don’t mess around!"

Lin Baici quickly stopped him.

[Your judgment is correct; solving the mural puzzle will open the door!]

[However, your moves for those square blocks must not exceed twenty steps, otherwise you’ll turn to stone!]

These stone block squares are embedded in the door, unable to be removed, so planning is needed; wild attempts can’t be made.

"Are the gods inside merciful or just too foolish?"

Lin Baici jokingly thought, "If it were me, I’d add a time limit; solve it within three minutes, or turn to stone!"

[There’s already a move limit, so the person solving the puzzle will definitely be cautious before proceeding, making a time limit useless!]

Eater God commented.

"I know, I was just joking!"

How could Lin Baici not think of this?

If the first person trying the puzzle became stone, the rest would certainly analyze the reason.

Even without understanding the rules, one would choose to complete the mural puzzle with the fewest moves and shortest time possible.

Lin Baici took out a colored pen and a sketchbook, then looked up at the mural on the gate and activated Soul Sketch.

Swish swish swish!

Lin Baici’s hand moved quickly, and within just three minutes, he drew a flawless image onto the sketch paper.

"Whoa, you have this kind of skill?"

Fang Mingyuan glanced and exclaimed, "Your drawing skills are akin to a printer!"

"It’s the effect of Divine Grace!"

Lin Baici humbly said.

"Divine Grace is also your ability."

Fang Mingyuan was puzzled; Lin Baici probably considered skills he learned through hard work as his own, while Divine Grace was more of a cheat.

But didn’t Divine Grace come from Lin Baici’s effort and risking death?

Lin Baici cut the sketch paper according to the proportions of the square blocks, then placed it on the ground to attempt assembling them.

At this stage, it wasn’t difficult anymore; even elementary school kids could solve it if they spent time thinking.

Especially Lin Baici!

Five minutes later, he found the correct answer.

But another problem arose.

With the door so high, how to move the square blocks above?

In Lin Baici’s Black Tripod Bowl, there was a ladder. Just as he was about to take it out, Eater God spoke.

[Gaze at the square block you wish to move. After ten seconds, where your eyes look, the square block will move in that direction!]

Of course, square blocks can only move up, down, left, or right; they can’t jump.

"Understood!"

Lin Baici focused on a square block with a ’crown’ and began moving it!

Exactly twenty steps, Lin Baici assembled the mural completely.

"It’s done!"

Fang Mingyuan excitedly pounded his fists and reached out to Lin Baici, wanting to high-five him.

Lin Baici paid no mind, keeping a firm gaze on the door opening, wary of any monsters suddenly rushing out.

Rumble!

The golden door appeared to be pushed open by two invisible large hands, widening from both sides.

"You can still turn back now!"

Lin Baici said and walked inside.

Fang Mingyuan remained silent. Honestly speaking, claiming he wasn’t afraid would be a lie, but seeing Lin Baici’s composed demeanor, it seemed less like confronting a terrifying final boss and more like a post-lunch stroll, boosting Fang Mingyuan’s courage.

After all, ahead was the Haijing god of forest, the youngest and most promising Dragon Wing of the Nine Provinces; what should I fear?

It’s the boss that should be afraid!

Fang Mingyuan muttered to himself, encouraging, nearly hypnotizing himself, as he stepped through the gate.

The Dream Theater truly lived up to its name.

Upon entry, Fang Mingyuan saw numerous tiered seats forming a circular arc around the central stage.

On the large stage, red velvet curtains descended, blocking any attempts to peek inside. Only a single light illuminated the frontmost spot.

That should be where the announcer or protagonist stands.

"Old White, what’s next?"

Fang Mingyuan hurried a few steps to catch up with Lin Baici.

"Get on stage?"

Lin Baici was unsure, just trying to find the Paradise God first.

No need for the two to ponder any longer as the next moment, with two crisp claps, two spotlights turned on, focusing on Lin Baici and Fang Mingyuan.

"Please, both actors come on stage!"

A clear, seductive female voice emerged.

Fang Mingyuan instantly looked toward Lin Baici. The voice was pleasant; normally he would fantasize about whether the owner had a pretty face, but now, all he felt was anxiety.

"Do as instructed!"

Lin Baici worried Fang Mingyuan might be scared and not go on stage, risking immediate rule contamination death.

Wherever the two went, the spotlight remained fixed on them, as if guiding hungry monsters toward their prey.

Lin Baici ascended the small steps on the right side of the stage.

"Please, the lead actor stand under the light!"

The announcer directed.

Lin Baici was about to move when Fang Mingyuan grabbed him.

"Could there be danger?"

Fang Mingyuan was concerned, "We can’t always do what it says, right?"

"What if it’s a trap?"

Lin Baici smiled, broke free from Fang Mingyuan’s grip, and stood under the spotlight at the front of the stage.

Fang Mingyuan felt full admiration.

If he were in Lin Baici’s place, he would certainly force a sacrificial pawn to go first.

Human rights?

When you can defeat me, then you have the right to talk to me about human rights.

Lin Baici stood in the light beam, waiting for a few seconds, then suddenly, ten more spotlights came on, all focused on Lin Baici.

The moment of brightness was comparable to ten times the intensity of a flashbang, causing Lin Baici to involuntarily close his eyes.

"If there were fairy tales in the world, then everyone would be happy!"

"Yet even emperors have regrets, and ordinary people face lifelong worries, so there are no fairy tales in the world!"

As the announcer’s voice continued, the velvet curtain slowly rose.

Fang Mingyuan even felt like bending down to sneak a peek at what was inside.

Music began!

Behind the curtain was a massive circular stage, about half the size of a football field. At its edges stood seven enormous statues of dragons.

These statues were red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, each a different color.

Swish swish swish!

Seven spotlights turned on, shining on the dragon statues!

In the center of the stage, a throne sat, upon it a young prince clad in royal attire, asleep.

The prince rested his right hand on a large sword, while his left hand supported his cheek, sleeping peacefully!

Gulp!

Fang Mingyuan swallowed hard, "Is this guy the final boss?"

"It seems so!"

Lin Baici’s stomach rumbled, mouth watering.

He was hungry!

Lin Baici wanted to eat.

"Do we chop it directly?"

Fang Mingyuan examined the seven dragon statues, "Will they wake up?"

[Don’t attack the Paradise God now; every strike you make will rebound double the damage onto yourself!]

"It’s that tricky?"

Lin Baici looked at the seven dragon statues, "Take care of these things first?"

[This is the effect of the Paradise God’s Divine Territory.]

[You must rotate the seven reptilian figures in the correct sequence, so they all face the Paradise God one by one, and only then will the damage rebound effect on its body be lifted!]

"Correct sequence?"

Lin Baici frowned; despite there being only seven dragon statues, there were many permutations, and finding the correct sequence would take significant time.

Eater God remained silent.

Lin Baici approached the red dragon statue, finding no mechanism to move the statue.

"Do I use brute force to move it?"

[Yes, these statues are very heavy, and a life form touching them will have its Life Essence drained!]

This challenge is quite hard.

God Hunter needs to confront the Paradise God but has to keep attempting to rotate these statues, find the correct sequence, and lift the Divine Territory.

But the statues are too heavy, and the rotation process is slow, naturally consuming more contact time, and when touched, Life Essence drains into the Paradise God’s body.
