Xiao Shumiao tilted his little head, snuggling against her palm, giving her a sweet smile, like a gentle little beast.

Ye Xingbei’s heart completely melted by him.

Xiao Shumiao had seen monkeys before, but it was his first time seeing so many. Excited, he took pictures with Ye Xingbei’s phone.

Gu Chi handed him a banana.

He offered it to a little monkey nearby.

The little monkey snatched the banana, holding it with both paws to munch on.

Ye Xingbei, afraid the monkeys might hurt them, wrapped her arms around Xiao Shumiao, protecting him.

Xiao Shumiao watched the little monkey nibble on the banana, completely engrossed.

When they had seen enough monkeys, they took a stroll around the area, returned to the camp, had dinner, and rested.

The next day, they hiked a few nearby peaks, took many scenic photos, and basically visited all the fun places.

On the third day, it was time to end the trip and return to Beijing.

When they arrived at Qin Junye’s uncle’s house, the family was still having dinner.

Seeing Qin Junye leading a group of strangers in, his uncle seemed a bit nervous.

Qin Junye’s uncle asked in shock, "Xiao Ye’s friend’s company is helping us out with a house and a job?"

"What did you say? Say that again!" Qin Junye’s second uncle rushed in, excited, "They bought us a house? And found us a job?"

"Not for you!" The officer glanced at him up and down, pointing at Qin Junye’s uncle, "It’s for Qin Junye’s uncle!"

"Isn’t it the same?" Qin Junye’s second uncle said, "We’re brothers, if they bought it for my big brother, it’s like they bought it for me!"

"It’s not the same!" The officer said sternly, "When processing the transfer paperwork, the property deed only has Qin Junye’s uncle’s name on it, it’s his personal property and has nothing to do with anyone else!"

"Why?" Qin Junye’s second uncle’s face turned red with frustration, "My big brother is Xiao Ye’s uncle, and I’m Xiao Ye’s second uncle, we’re equally close, why buy it only for my big brother and not for me?"
