Chapter 7: For Brotherhood! Rah!

’What have I done? Obviously nothing! This is all just part of a small ploy. Hahaha!’

Cillian continued to smirk while feeling delighted that his plan came all together.

That’s right, his goal was to instigate a fight between Fred between him and be sent to the office of the disciplinary office of this principal.

This was also the same place where the main character was led after beating Fergus into a pulp.

Cillian had come to this place.

A glowing stone continued to illuminate the very normal-looking room.

There was a painting of the Lord of the Viola on Cillian’s left side and a cabinet on his right side with the principal’s achievements, meant to show and brag. There was even a miniature version of Bard from one of the cabinet windows, which made Cillian’s lips twitch to stop his laugh.

He still has hair there.

"Mr. Sparrow! Why aren’t you saying anything!?"

Hearing the continuous shouting coming from Bard, Cillian remained deaf as his gaze surveyed the room before his eyes stopped at one particular spot.

’Found you...’

Cillian found an accessory that almost resembled a golden coin with complicated designs.

There were mysterious faces intertwined with each other, forming a dozen of those faces in this small coin. It didn’t emit any aura nor give a feeling of something special, but Cillian knew he was right on the money.

’Hmm, the main character had that cheat skill to describe the Piece itself as he put a description on that thing that is filled with mystery and unimaginable power. Now, I’m excited to see what it contains...’

Tak—!

While he was busily engrossing himself in his own thoughts, Bard seemed to have had enough and threw a notebook at Cillian.

"Ouch!"

Since it was thick, Cillian almost got thrown backward.

Rubbing his aching forehead, Cillian finally stopped smirking as he looked at Bard angrily.

"Did I get your attention now?"

Bard expressed a smug expression.

"Answer me, Mr. Sparrow! The one you fought is a very important person! When important, I mean really important! I demand answers now! You were clearly in the wrong this time, and I will make a judgment once I’ve heard enough of it."

"Right..."

Cillian couldn’t help but chuckle inwardly.

’This guy is really good at sucking up people’s boots. Yeah, I guess Bootlicker is a good nickname for him. Hahh... even if I gave a sensible answer, it would only result in me being in the wrong. Besides, there’s nothing false about what he said. I was indeed the one who started the fight.’

Having faced a situation that put him at a disadvantage, Cillian only put them aside as his mission here was to steal the intricate gold coin with intertwined faces.

’How do I steal it though? I came here on the premise of only knowing if it’s real. If it wasn’t, then that’s good. But if it was real... I literally have no way of stealing it from this bootlicker since it was placed in the cabinet of reward, collections, and trophies...’

Oh wait...

Cillian came to realize that he was overthinking it way too much when he could just directly steal it under Bard’s nose.

Of course, he had to do it swiftly so that the principal would not notice that he was going to steal that Piece.

’How should I do this...’

Cillian pursed his lips silently as he thought about the plan that came to his head.

It was full of inconsistencies and might lead to failure, but it was the best shot he could do at the moment.

Just as Bard was about to call Cillian for the fourth time and was on the verge of slapping his timetable onto him, he was interrupted.

"Brotherhood..."

Cillian muttered under his breath.

"What!?"

Bard tilted his head and asked, as he couldn’t hear it clearly.

"Brotherhood!"

Cillian angrily and loudly struck both of his hands on the table.

Cillian stood up from his place as tears formed at the corner of his eyes.

His expression looked like he was in so much pain.

"My Brotherhood!"

"I heard you for the first time, stop shouting–"

"Sir!"

Cillian didn’t want Bard to interrupt him.

It was his moment.

"Can you imagine your brother leaving you!? You sure aren’t because you didn’t have someone that can be called your brother!"

Bard somehow felt he was being insulted, but Cillian didn’t care what kind of expression he was making.

Cillian just wiped the fake tears at the corner of his eyes and continued

"Fergus is gone. Fred is the only one left, but he is leaving as well!"

As his tone rose, Cillian moved around the place to express the indescribable pain he was feeling in his heart that he couldn’t put into words.

The chair he was sitting in went sideways.

"It hurts so much! It freaking hurts in the heart, here in my chest!"

His footsteps were heavy before he landed at the cabinet where Bard’s collection resided, particularly landing on the spot where he could plainly see the price he would be receiving because of his acting.

"Brotherhood is created through brothers..."

Cillian’s face appeared enraged as he suddenly burst out.

"Brotherhood will remain forever, even if I were the only brother left! Raaah!"

"What are you doing—!"

Just as Bard was about to inquire about the absurdity of the situation he was in, Cillian suddenly started kicking the wardrobe.

"For the brotherhood!"

Tak—!

Bard’s mouth turned agape as he watched his collections and trophies get thrown around.

"Rahhh!!! Brotherhood!"

Cillian liked this.

He definitely was enjoying himself.

Bard, seeing how his room got chaotic, shouted as he was unable to apprehend him himself

"You brat!"

As he appeared not to be in his right mind, Cillian managed to secretly steal the gold coin while it was falling.

He almost failed to catch it since he misstepped his footing and acted a little too much.

Thankfully, he caught it right on time.

’It doesn’t matter now...’

The job was done, but Cillian continued throwing a fit until patrolling guards entered and tried their best to bring him out after hearing the commotion inside.

"Brotherhood! Wah!"

They had to be careful about taking him out due to the broken shards across the place, consisting of glass, wood, and metal.

The moment he calmed down, it was then that the guards had the chance to drag him out forcefully, afraid that he would turn different again and might cause injuries to people this time.

They barely prevented that from happening.

Cillian acted so freely that he was almost unable to contain himself from going wilder.

...

Cillian was put in a different location this time.

However, he didn’t recognize the area he was in after doing such an action earlier, nor did he have any recollection of the previous memories that he had.

He was in a normal room, with a normal table in front, while a normal-looking person sat across another chair with two more normal-looking people.

’For me to be brought here to this normal-looking person, whom I should take to someone not to mess with, I guess I’m under their radar now...’

Cillian began to take his preliminary thoughts on this matter.

’This guy is definitely not normal. Even though there’s nothing striking to take his appearance, the aura he exudes is something else. A guy with a higher position in this academy? Probably since the two people behind him are more or less giving the same aura.’

Cillian concluded that the person on his front was rather important and had a certain influence that was higher than Bard, a principal for the first years.

The guy with deep brown eyes that could penetrate a person’s thoughts, a straight nose, and neat green hair that looked like seaweeds, spoke calmly while forming a frown.

He appeared to be in his mid-thirties as wrinkles slowly formed on his forehead.

"Hello, Mr. Sparrow, do I have to introduce myself? You looked like you didn’t recognize me."

’That would be my pleasure, but the way you put your words is a bit suspicious... Do I have to know who this guy is?’

Cillian felt that the person was indeed more than what meets the eye as he swam deeper into his thoughts.

’Think, think... Deep blue eyes and green seaweed-like hair...’

Cillian wasn’t relying on his knowledge regarding what he knew about the novel but on the previous owner of his body.

A minute after trying to remember this person, Cillian’s eyes slowly widened.

"Sir Darwin?"

Darwin was the principal for the third year in this academy. He had been in this position for more than ten years and had made a name for himself. Outside of the academy, he’s known to be the True Calamity.

’A Circle Four Sorcerer... Might be secretly a Ruiner...’

"Yes, thankfully, you seemed to recognize me."

Darwin spoke with a hint of amusement and surprise before he came straight to the point.

"Mr. Sparrow. There is only one reason I bring you here, which relates to what you did at Bard’s office and instigating the fight with Fred."

He took a moment of pause.

"Are you aware of your mistakes?"

Cillian, being ready to accept any sort of punishment as long as it is within his strength and having the urge to go home to analyze the Piece in his pocket, nodded solemnly.

"Yes,"

Darwin smiled lightly.

"Then, there’s no need to do further investigation and an in-depth search since you confessed. We’ll bring forth the punishments you’ll receive."
