Chapter 960: 967 What generation gap?

She lunged forward and bit Qin Shaojin’s arm with her sharp little tiger teeth.

Qin Shaojin grunted, "You really bit me!"

"It’s not just a real bite, it’s a bite to death!"

The more Wen Nuan thought about it, the more furious she became, refusing to let go of Qin Shaojin.

Now she has embarrassed herself terribly, she can’t visit the Qin Family anymore, and can’t even go back home!

Looking at Qin Shaojin’s bitten shoulder, she couldn’t help but ask, "Does it hurt?"

Qin Shaojin bit Wen Nuan, "It’s bearable."

Wen Nuan thought about last night, "Last... last night Aunt Zhang..."

Qin Shaojin, "I gave her a day off in advance."

Wen Nuan, "..."

How cunning!

Thinking of the speakerphone incident, she couldn’t help but get furious again, "Did you intentionally press the speakerphone?"

Qin Shaojin shook his head, "Dabai."

"..." Wen Nuan frowned.

Qin Shaojin got up and dressed, "It’s the cat that ran into your room that night."

"..."

Wen Nuan’s heart broke, even a cat couldn’t stand her.

Qin Shaojin looked at Wen Nuan; during this time, she probably won’t be running around. Not going home or to the Qin Family means she’ll have to stay here with him.

Fastening the buttons on his shirt, he felt the sting on his shoulder, glanced at it, and noticed that blood had seeped into his white shirt. She really bit down hard.

Wen Nuan also saw this and bit her lip, her voice much quieter, "It really hurts, doesn’t it?"

Qin Shaojin glanced at Wen Nuan, "Go to the study and help me treat the wound."

Wen Nuan responded quickly and followed Qin Shaojin to the study.

Qin Shaojin opened the medicine kit and told Wen Nuan how to handle it.

With a cotton swab in her hand, Wen Nuan looked at the deep teeth marks on Qin Shaojin’s shoulder, her face slightly reddened, "If it hurts, why didn’t you say anything? I thought your skin was so tough that it wouldn’t hurt or break."

Qin Shaojin looked at Wen Nuan, "You were enjoying it too much at the time, even if I’d said something, you wouldn’t have heard."

Wen Nuan blushed, "Nonsense, you didn’t say anything."

Qin Shaojin, "I did say it."

Wen Nuan, "You didn’t!"

Qin Shaojin looked at Wen Nuan, stared at her, and pulled her into his arms, "I’m saying it now."

Wen Nuan’s voice softened significantly, "I heard it."

She glanced again at the wound on his shoulder, "Is it all taken care of?"

Qin Shaojin nodded, "Mhm," and fastened his shirt buttons.

Wen Nuan sat on his leg, leaning closer into his embrace, "Qin Master, you said we’re engaged. When are we getting married?"

Qin Shaojin looked down at Wen Nuan, "Do you really want to marry me that badly?"

Wen Nuan, "You’re the one chasing me!"

Qin Shaojin opened his laptop, holding Wen Nuan while checking emails, "So, you think my effort in chasing you is too much, and you’d prefer to propose instead?"

"..."

Wen Nuan sat there, turning her head to look at Qin Shaojin, wondering if she really meant it, indeed they’re on different wavelengths!

Seeing Qin Shaojin not looking at her, with his eyes glued to the computer screen, Wen Nuan shifted her position to sit in his arms and blocked his view with her face, "Master Qin, you know? There’s a generational gap between us."

Qin Shaojin looked down at Wen Nuan, "What generational gap? This one?"

Wen Nuan’s face flushed instantly, just about to speak when her stomach suddenly growled.

Qin Shaojin looked down at Wen Nuan, "Be good, stay still, and once I finish handling this email, I’ll take you out to satisfy your hunger."

Wen Nuan agreed, sitting on his lap without moving.

Qin Shaojin’s beautiful fingers moved over the keyboard, his mouse sliding smoothly.

After looking through all the email attachments, he quickly typed a line of text, glanced at it, and sent it out. Then, he looked at his wristwatch—it was already half-past nine.
