Chapter 797: 800 Youthful Years: The Summer That the Wind Blew Through (14)_1
Huo Jinnan stood there, handsomely compelling.
The team leader came over and apologized to Huo Jinnan, "Mr. Huo, I’m really sorry."
Huo Jinnan gently wiped his hands and handed the paper towel to the team leader, "Can’t see, help me throw this away."
"Of course, Mr. Huo."
The team leader, trembling, took the paper towel and threw it into the nearby trash can.
Huo Jinnan stood there, listening to the sounds around him, "Sorry, I wanted to borrow some of Huo’s drinking money to let you guys play with Huo’s girlfriend for a bit, but you’re still not quite up to par, train for another decade or so and then come back and try to borrow."
Che Huan stood to the side, admiringly watching him. Not only was he good-looking and incredibly skilled, but he also had such a great sense of humor!
Especially when wearing a simple white shirt, it involuntarily made her think of "The wind stirs the pear blossoms, not amongst the common flowers," as if it was describing him, the handsome man with an ice-cold aura, superior to the snow and detached from the mortal world.
The team leader, hearing these words, stood there and gave the delinquents a good telling-off, then looked towards his men, "Are you not going to take them away one by one?"
Huo Jinnan remembered the one he had left on the bridge abutment, "There’s one more who claimed his father is something at the police station."
The military people, even the Mayor of Donggang would have to give way to them by three points, these were not people for them to offend, "Mr. Huo, the princes commit crimes just as commoners do, not to mention it’s just someone from the police station."
"Well said," Huo Jinnan’s thin lips lifted slightly, radiating an exceptional charm.
Che Huan watched, becoming a little infatuated. A man whose every move was so tasteful, this was truly her first encounter with someone like him.
Huo Jinnan felt Che Huan still gripping the collar of his shirt tightly and, without speaking a reminder, he called out in a low voice, "Hei Tan, if you’ve had enough fun, let’s go."
The team leader heard the name Hei Tan and discontentedly "barked" twice, released the person he had been gnawing at, climbed onto the person’s face and arrogantly urinated, then ran towards Huo Jinnan and Che Huan with a look of triumph.
Che Huan was amused by the team leader’s prankish actions, "Naughty Hei Tan."
Huo Jinnan looked down, "With such a naughty owner and a naughty young miss by its side, how could it possibly be any good?"
Che Huan looked up at Huo Jinnan, "You may be naughty, but I am not."
Huo Jinnan, already blind, completely ignored the surrounding police, "Just stand on the bridge abutment, strike a pose, and say ’ready’."
Che Huan ran cheerfully onto the bridge, realizing he could see nothing, she boldly struck a pose, "Ready!"
Huo Jinnan picked up the camera, caressed it with his long fingers for a while, and pressed the shutter towards the direction of Che Huan’s voice.
Che Huan ran over to look and, unexpectedly, she was in the frame. Although not exactly in the center, thankfully she was in it, with no missing arms or legs, and her head wasn’t chopped off!
...
After playing outside for an afternoon, upon returning to the hospital, Che Huan suddenly remembered his arm, "Is your arm okay?"
Huo Jinnan, "It’s fine."
Che Huan looked at Huo Jinnan, towards his left arm, "Let me check it for you."
Huo Jinnan smiled faintly, "Men and women should not touch hands when giving or receiving things."
Che Huan’s face turned red, "Shouldn’t that be my line?"
Huo Jinnan lay back on the hospital bed, naturally speaking out, "The young miss knows no shame, so it has to be me who says it."
Che Huan sat there, holding her breath and looking at Huo Jinnan, "How am I shameless?"
Huo Jinnan looked up, "You want to see my body."
"You..."
Che Huan stared at Huo Jinnan for a long time, and realizing that the arm was indeed part of his body, for a moment, she couldn’t find the right words to argue back.
