Chapter 730: 733 Kiss with more force_1
Qin Huan thought of Huo Jinyun’s words, bit her lip, but still insisted on saying no.
Wen Ru said in a low voice, "Huanhuan, tell me the truth; don’t let there be any misunderstandings between you and Anan because of mom."
Qin Huan paused, "Oh, he mentioned Jinnan’s father."
Just as she had expected! Huo Jinyun!
Wen Ru took a moment to calm her breathing before speaking softly, "Huanhuan, that matter is related to him, but if it weren’t for him, your mom might not have been able to protect you that day."
Qin Huan didn’t know what to say, fearing her mom would feel embarrassed, "Is that so?"
Wen Ru’s voice was gentle, "Yes."
"I understand." Qin Huan thought of her mom, bit her lip, and felt a pang of heartache.
Wen Ru asked softly, "Have you had dinner yet?"
Qin Huan saw Huo Jinnan come in and spoke with a clear voice, "Mom, I’ve eaten."
Wen Ru said, "Huanhuan, mom is going to rest now, I’m hanging up."
Qin Huan responded, heard the call end, stood there and put the phone aside, looking towards Huo Jinnan.
Huo Jinnan approached, "Let’s go have dinner."
Qin Huan said "Okay" and took the initiative to grab Huo Jinnan’s hand.
Huo Jinnan looked down at her hand.
Qin Huan said softly, "Jinnan, actually, what Huo Jinyun said wasn’t entirely true."
Huo Jinnan stopped in his tracks and looked at Qin Huan.
Qin Huan recollected Huo Jinyun’s harsh words towards her. Her statement seemed to carry a different implication, and she blushed instantly.
Huo Jinnan looked at Qin Huan for a while, "I know."
Qin Huan saw that he had misunderstood, "I was talking about your dad."
Huo Jinnan looked at Qin Huan, a frown forming between his brows, and remained silent.
Qin Huan said softly, "My mom just said it was him who saved both her and me in the end."
Huo Jinnan paused for a moment, remained silent, looked at Qin Huan, then placed his large palm on her cheek, his fingertips sliding over the corner of her lips, gently caressing.
Qin Huan leaned into his embrace and asked quietly, "Do you still want the child?"
Huo Jinnan froze and didn’t speak for a long time.
She looked up at him, "Jinnan."
...
Zhong Qin couldn’t wait any longer for the two to come downstairs, and just as she got to the bedroom door, she saw the scene, quickly stopped in her tracks, and tensed upon hearing Qin Huan’s voice.
"Jinnan, from now on, don’t ever say you don’t want the baby again. He can hear you."
Zhong Qin clutched at her chest, quickly walked to one side, her breathing somewhat irregular.
Why didn’t Anan want the child?
Upon hearing footsteps from the bedroom, she quickly headed to the staircase and went down to the first floor.
When Qin Huan and Huo Jinnan came down, she was already sitting in the dining room, looking perfectly normal.
The little guy saw Huo Jinnan and Qin Huan, his gaze landing on Huo Jinnan, "Why does calling someone take so long?"
Huo Jinnan didn’t respond but passed a pair of chopsticks to Qin Huan.
Zhong Qin sat there, feeling the strange atmosphere between the two, and grew worried.
After dinner, she looked at Huo Jinnan, "Anan, come to my room later, I have something I want to ask you."
Huo Jinnan escorted Qin Huan upstairs, who said she wanted to watch TV in the living room.
He didn’t insist anymore and went to Zhong Qin’s room.
Qin Huan turned to the little guy, "Xiaowei, come here."
The little guy walked up to Qin Huan.
Qin Huan bent down and whispered a few words in his ear; the little guy took Qin Huan’s hand, "Huanhuan, let’s go for a walk outside to digest our food."
Qin Huan smiled at him and followed him out the door.
The two of them made a round in the yard and found a secluded spot, leaning against the wall near Zhong Qin’s room.
