Huo Jinnan’s eyes fell on her extended hand, growing ever colder, "I don’t like shaking hands with people."
He took a seat far from Fang Tong, radiating an air of untouchable frostiness, pulled out the chair next to him, and looked at Che Huan with warming eyes, "Have a seat."
Che Huan sat next to Huo Jinnan, turned to Fang Tong, realizing she was the striking woman from the photo that day, and smiled, "I’m sorry, Miss Fang, he’s rather shy with strangers."
Fang Tong glanced at Che Huan and then awkwardly retracted her hand, "I see. How may I address you, Miss?"
Just as Che Huan was about to speak, Huo Jinnan’s low seductive voice came beside her ear.
"Mrs. Huo."
Huo Jinnan glanced at Che Huan, then looked away, his gaze falling on Fang Tong, the last hint of warmth in his eyes swept away.
Fang Tong felt his attitude and turned to Che Huan, "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Huo."
Che Huan smiled, "Nice to meet you too, Miss Fang."
Fang Tong sat there, unsure how to proceed with such a meeting! Her gaze fell on Huo Jinnan, attraction stirring with each encounter, a man who was more enthralling than she imagined, with his commanding presence, perfect features, cool demeanor, and extraordinary wealth. Any one of these traits would captivate, let alone all combined in one person!
Che Huan sat aside, noticing Miss Fang’s unwavering focus on him, and cleared her throat gently, "Jinnan, shall we order something? We shouldn’t neglect Miss Fang."
Huo Jinnan glanced sideways at Che Huan, his eyes dark and deep, "Staking your claim?"
Che Huan smiled charmingly, "If you say so."
Huo Jinnan’s hand fell upon hers, holding it, and he turned to Fang Tong, "May I know why Miss Fang has asked to meet with me?"
Fang Tong looked up at Huo Jinnan, and due to the height difference, all she could see was the man’s dark suit jacket, the pure white shirt, the black tie – an ensemble that was a sinful temptation for any woman!
Considering the timing and circumstances were unsuitable, she smiled faintly, "I wanted to discuss a potential collaboration with Mr. Huo."
"I don’t handle such trivial matters. If you want to talk about collaboration, you can arrange to meet with Yu Zimu."
As soon as he finished speaking, he picked up his phone and called Yu Zimu.
After the call, he stood up, requested a menu from the waiter, and handed it to Fang Tong, "For Miss Fang."
Fang Tong took the proffered menu from the waiter with a forceful grip, the knuckles whitening on the edge, "Thank you, Mr. Huo."
"Yu Zimu will arrive shortly. You can talk to him at your leisure."
Huo Jinnan glanced at Fang Tong, then his eyes returned to Che Huan.
Che Huan stood up beside Huo Jinnan, taking his arm, "Miss Fang, till next time."
Fang Tong said "Till next time" heavily, watching the two leave arm in arm with intimate gestures, the smile fading from her face in an instant, and she swept the table’s red wine onto the floor in a rage!
