Huo Jinnan turned to look at Wen Hua, speaking calmly, "As Mr. Wen said, there’s much that Mr. Wen doesn’t understand either."
Wen Hua, with nothing to refute, stood there in silence for a while before speaking in a deep voice, "I’ll think about it and give you an answer before tomorrow."
"Alright, I still have some matters to take care of." Huo Jinnan rose and left.
Wen Hua watched him leave. The man, despite his young age, was incredibly deep and inscrutable, and even she could not fathom his thoughts.
What sort of trump card did he have to stand against the family’s powerholders? And what were his chances of success?

After finishing all his business, it was past three in the morning when he returned to his guest room.
Huo Jinnan took a shower and then slid into bed beside Che Huan.
When Che Huan woke up in the morning, she saw the man beside her still deep in sleep.
She got up very quietly, straightened the corner of Jinnan’s blanket, and watched him sleep silently. She couldn’t resist leaning over to kiss his chiseled face, blushing and biting her lip.
She only dared to be so bold when he was asleep.
Seeing that he didn’t wake up, and guessing that he came back late last night, Che Huan went to the bathroom to wash up, moving very quietly.
After finishing up, just as she stepped out, she heard her cellphone ring.
Not wanting to disturb him, she quickly picked it up, answered the call, and walked out to the balcony. "Uncle."
Wen Hua, who had been attending to Wen Ru at the hospital all night, spoke wearily, "Huanhuan, we’re going back to Hong Kong today."
Going back today?
Che Huan furrowed her brows, "Isn’t my mom not fully recovered yet?"
Wen Hua spoke slowly, "The medical standards in Hong Kong are much better than here. Bringing her over should help her recover better."
Che Huan looked toward the direction of the bedroom. Was it him?
Did he go out last night to see uncle and mother? Did mother give him a hard time?

Wen Hua looked at Wen Ru on the hospital bed, "Today your mom will finalize the divorce papers with Che Zhiqiang. Later, you and I will go over to the Che family to pack some of your things. We’ll go back to Hong Kong after lunch, and we should arrive by evening."
