Chapter 251: 253 Kidnapping (3)_1

A few minutes later, he received a message and took the team leader in the direction where the tracking device was found.

The team leader leaned in to sniff and quickly retracted its body.

Huo Jinnan stood to the side, his eyes calm as he watched the team leader and lit a cigarette.

The team leader sniffed around on the road back and forth for nearly half an hour, then squatted at one spot and didn’t move, barking twice at Huo Jinnan.

Huo Jinnan walked over and roughly determined the location, glanced left and right; this was a one-way street. It must have been a sudden decision to discard the tracking device on Huo Minhan, otherwise, this place would not have been chosen to throw away the tracker.

"Get in the car."

The team leader jumped into the co-pilot’s seat, sat there, and became fully alert.

Huo Jinnan drove south for half an hour, came upon a crossroads, and pulled over to smoke at the intersection.

The team leader jumped out of the car, wandered around, then slowly crept over, glaring at one spot with disdain and reluctantly sniffed it, quickly retreating and looking in Huo Jinnan’s direction.

Huo Jinnan walked over, looked down, saw nothing, and took a drag of his cigarette.

The team leader barked twice and suddenly lay on the ground with its paws in the air, making a pained expression!

Huo Jinnan quickly realized that Huo Minhan had urinated here.

When Huo Minhan was still babbling in his speech, he was particularly rascally, often grabbing the team leader to ride like a horse, deliberately knocking it over. Once, just as he climbed onto the team leader’s white belly, he peed all over it...

From then on, the team leader never let the little guy ride again.

He walked over, looked down, the urine had dried on the asphalt road, leaving no trace, his brows gently furrowed.

Seeing his expression, the team leader quickly hopped away.

Huo Jinnan glanced sideways, sweeping a look at the team leader.

The team leader turned its head away.

Huo Jinnan, tall and lean, stood there, took another drag of his cigarette, "Then let him stay with the kidnappers for a few more days."

Hearing this, the team leader glanced at Huo Jinnan, reluctantly pawed the ground, and unwillingly raised its paw.

Huo Jinnan looked down for a moment.

The team leader hung its head.

Huo Jinnan went to the trunk and applied some paint onto the team leader’s paw.

The team leader pressed its paw near the spot where the little one had urinated, sniffing and pressing, quickly outlining the shape of the urine trace, then vigorously shook its head and moved aside.

Huo Jinnan got in the car and drove toward the southern fork in the road.

The team leader sat in the co-pilot’s seat, fussing with tissue paper, burrowing its nose in and out of it.

Passing surveillance cameras on the road, Huo Jinnan stopped the car and made a phone call.

In less than half an hour, surveillance footage was sent to his phone.

Huo Jinnan sat in the driver’s seat, his eyes deep as he watched the traffic coming and going. After a while, he put the phone aside, turned to the team leader who was messing with a pile of tissues, and dialed Qin Shaonan while reversing.

Upon arriving, he stepped into the private room and saw Shen You, Yu Zimu, Qin Shaonan, and Qin Shaojin all there. He took a seat in the empty spot next to them.

Qin Shaojin looked in Huo Jinnan’s direction, "Brother Huo, Li Li’s husband died in custody, her son was kidnapped, there was an accident, she escaped from custody, it must be her."

"Hard work," said Huo Jinnan simply, lighting up a cigarette. His cold profile was set against the light, adding a chill to his demeanor.

Qin Shaojin swayed the pen in her hand but said nothing. With Li Li’s capabilities, the meticulous planning from beginning to end was not her style, obviously someone helped her!
