In every photo, Xiaoqi was front and center, either smiling happily, quietly holding hands and chewing fingers, or blinking with big adorable eyes, whereas Xiaoliao was much less favored, either occupying only a tiny corner of the photo or missing limbs, the most egregious being only half a face shown.
Even when his face appeared, he was either asleep with his eyes closed, rubbing his eyes, or yawning...
"It’s better if you don’t let your son see these photos in the future."
Huo Jinnan glanced, only then noticed, sitting there editing all the photos again, cropping out Xiaoliu and leaving only Xiaoqi.
