Upon hearing Mu Beiting’s words, Ye Anxin smiled lightly, "Uncle, I trust you! I’ll be good and sleep, you must take good care of Chu Yi!"
"Mm! I will! You sleep now!" Mu Beiting nodded, gently smoothing Ye Anxin’s bangs on her forehead.
"Goodnight, Uncle!" With Mu Beiting’s assurance, Ye Anxin finally closed her eyes peacefully.

As Ye Anxin fell asleep, the maternity nurse also helped to remove the swaddling from little Chu Yi, placed her into the crib, and covered her with a cotton blanket!

Throughout the night, Ye Anxin, the maternity nurse, and little Chu Yi all slept very quietly! Little Chu Yi didn’t wake up the whole night, sleeping until six o’clock the next morning, before lazily opening her eyes.
Mu Beiting kept watch by the crib the entire night, and when little Chu Yi opened her eyes for the first time, the familiar handsome face of Mu Beiting was what she saw first!
"Sir, the young miss hasn’t had any milk all night, she must be hungry. I’ll go prepare her milk!" Before little Chu Yi woke up, the maternity nurse was already awake and started sterilizing the bottle. As soon as Chu Yi awoke, the nurse quickly prepared the milk for her.
Although the young miss wasn’t crying, she had been sleeping since being brought back last night without eating anything. After several hours passed, she must surely be hungry! It’s better to prepare the milk now rather than wait for her to cry!
The maternity nurse moved swiftly, and in no time, the milk was ready, then fed to little Chu Yi!
Maybe she was really hungry, for as soon as the nipple touched Chu Yi’s lips, she immediately opened her mouth and began to suck eagerly.
Watching little Chu Yi’s satisfied expression, Mu Beiting’s gaze unknowingly softened.
After feeding the milk to little Chu Yi, the maternity nurse changed her diaper, wrapped her in a swaddle, and gently patted her back to help the milk flow quickly down her esophagus into her stomach.
The maternity nurse continued to gently stroke Chu Yi’s back until she burped, then stopped!
Once the maternity nurse finished everything, Mu Beiting reached out his hand, "Let me hold her!"
The maternity nurse smiled and handed the baby to Mu Beiting, then went to wash the milk bottles for Chu Yi!
Little Chu Yi played with Mu Beiting for a long time with her eyes open, during which Ye Anxin slept soundly on the bed!

"Chu Yi is fine, but how about you, how’s your body feeling now? Is there any discomfort?" As he spoke, Mu Beiting released Ye Anxin and checked her condition.
Ye Anxin shook her head, "I’m fine! When the doctor comes for rounds later, I’ll ask for an examination, if everything is okay, I should be able to leave the hospital today!"

Mu Beiting nodded, "I understand! You’ve worked hard these days, go home and rest well!"
"Yes! If there’s anything else, don’t hesitate to call me!" He said, then turned and left!
After Pete left, Ye Anxin remained silent for a while, unable to resist asking, "Uncle, did you really send Mo Xuehong to prison?"
"Mm!" Mu Beiting responded coldly but firmly!
Ye Anxin said hesitantly, "But, she’s your biological mother!"
Mu Beiting responded expressionlessly, "I gave her many chances, but she didn’t cherish them! Her current fate is her own doing!"
Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin remained silent for a while but couldn’t help saying, "Uncle, I know after Mo Xuehong did so many things, your tolerance for her had reached its limit! Her current fate is indeed self-inflicted! When I first found out she took Chu Yi, I hated her and wanted to bring her to justice, to make her face the consequences she deserved! I even secretly vowed that if she dared harm Chu Yi, I’d settle the accounts no matter the cost! But after seeing her attitude toward Chu Yi yesterday, I suddenly changed my mind! I feel she must care for Chu Yi since she didn’t harm her despite having many chances throughout the day! She even bought milk powder, diapers, clothes for her! As a mother, if she didn’t like a child, she wouldn’t do so many things!"
Listening to Ye Anxin’s lengthy speech, Mu Beiting lowered his gaze, slightly furrowing his brows, and asked, "What are you trying to say?"
