Chapter 469: Soaring Through Stages! (Last)
Under the indifferent gaze of Khal and the alarmed eyes of Sofiel, the miniature black hole slowly started to descend toward the ground while its size gradually began to expand.
[You are insane! Don’t you fear this will...]
’I don’t.’ Khal quickly cut short Nova’s sentence and added, ’I have complete control over all my Power Cores, and while this one was born from God Essence, it can’t cause chaos to things I don’t want to.’
Then, to prove his point right, Khal pointed at the black hole which as a result quickly shrunk to the size of a bean!
[And how will you prevent the Battle Essences from getting sucked into the black hole, turning them into a waste?]
’Again, as I have said this already, I have absolute control over this power of mine. If I want, I can influence the size of it without much problem. And if I want to manipulate whether it sucks or pushes things toward or away from it, I can do that also!’
And just as he said those words, Khal snapped his fingers and in a flash the black hole expanded into a massive void above the battlefield, starting to suck everything around it toward itself in a two hundred miles radius in a flash!
As for the cultivators that were within that radius, no matter what technique they tried to use, their attempts failed ultimately, and could only watch with frightened eyes as they were consumed into the eternal void before being shredded into pieces by the massive pressure!
However, strangely enough, when the bodies of the cultivators got ripped apart the Battle Essence they left behind was not sucked into the void but instead pushed into the distance, allowing Khal to consume them without much trouble.

Once again, numerous crimson masses of liquid began to swirl around Khal, each melting into his body one by one and pushing him closer to the next Cultivation Stage slowly with each passing second!
"H-He... is a monster. A monster disguised as a human!" floating in the sky just a little further away than two hundred miles to avoid getting affected by the black hole, Sofiel mumbled quietly as she stared at Khal’s calm and handsome figure with a dumbfounded look on her pretty face.
After killing every cultivator on the second battlefield Khal waved his hand and caused the black hole to vanish into thin air.
Then, he quickly threw numerous pills from his spatial ring into his mouth to replenish and increase his depleted Body’s Essence before continuing to fly toward the next battlefield in the far distance.
Different from the Second Realm, the Fourth Realm was a single massive world that was sectioned into numerous parts with the westernmost area being the battleground for cultivators on the First Cultivation Stage while the easternmost area being the territory of the Fifth Stage Cultivators!
Of course, there were moments when cultivators with a higher Cultivation Stage would start a massacre on the western battlefields where weaker cultivators were fighting, but as they would get punished severely by the Realm itself as a result, something like that to happen was extremely rare!
Khal kept moving toward the easternmost area calmly while occasionally stopping at battlefields and killing hundreds of cultivators to claim their Battle Essence.
He literally reaped the lives of others as if he was collecting flowers from roadsides, not caring if the ones he killed were young, old, male, or female!
And just like that, Khal kept slaughtering every cultivator in his path while making sure he filled his stomach with meat he hunted from the nearby forest and kept his mind fresh by sleeping at least three hours after every three days!
As for Sofiel, she kept following him from a safe distance, still scared to approach him even after two whole weeks!
In fact, under those two weeks, Khal’s strength soared through the sky once again and now he was at the Fourth Cultivation Stage, only a small step away from reaching the peak and becoming an Overlord, someone who will be eligible to challenge the Celestial Realm Beast to reach the Fifth Realm!
’Should I perhaps try to get on his good side?’ Sofiel wondered within her heart as she watched how Khal was cooking a piece of beast meat in the middle of a hunted forest.
After all, Sofiel was a being who was also close to becoming an Overlord, hence if she could get close to Khal and gain his trust, she felt like beating the Celestial Realm Beast would be a piece of cake!
’But how should I approach him? Should I just go and say hi?’ Sofiel seemed hesitant about what she should do, but almost as if Khal sensed her thoughts he looked at her and gestured at her to go closer.
Sofiel was shocked to see this, but sensing Khal had no killing intent or ulterior motive in his gaze she clenched her teeth and flapped her wings, appearing before Khal almost in a mere instant!
"Are you hungry?" sitting before a small fireplace with a thick branch in hand which had a huge chunk of meat at its end, Khal looked calmly at Sofiel.

Upon seeing that she was not responding nor did she wish to move, Khal sighed and pointed at the small rock in front of him;
"Why don’t you take a seat over there then? I just wish to talk, that’s all."
Sofiel raised a brow, but seeing that Khal just wished to chat and nothing else she nodded and carefully sat down.
However, despite she acted with caution in fear Khal would suddenly attack her, every movement she did was graceful, to the point where Khal who saw it couldn’t help but feel a little awe secretly!
Without any doubt, Sofiel was someone who was raised in a noble household where she was taught everything a lady must know and use no matter where she was or what situation she the moment was in!
