Chapter 418: Sacrifice (2-Last)
The sight of the whole landscape getting frozen into a literal frozen hell shook everyone that has seen it to the very core!
Even those experts that were proud of their ability to cause mass destruction on a large scale with only a single attack of theirs now sat or stood straight in their place and watched with widened eyes as Khal not only froze his attack around Cagrown but also froze his entire surroundings in at least a three miles radius if not more!
Such a feat was so ridiculous that those with a weaker mind instantly fell unconscious while those with a slightly stronger one couldn’t help but feel as their bodies started to shake from pure fear alone!
What did this mean? This meant that every creature all around the Second Realm in one way or another was forced to realize that Khal not only possessed terrifying abilities which are capable of claiming hundreds if not thousands of lives in seconds, but he also had an incredibly large essence reserve in his body!
As it was common knowledge, every ability or skill, let it be a Blessing or a Martial Technique, required a specific amount of Body Essence to be activated and to be used! Also, the stronger the skill or technique was, the more Body Essence it needed in exchange!
Thus, when they saw just how easily and smoothly did Khal activate such an ability capable of mass destruction, almost everyone realized that the young human in front of their very eyes had at least a few tens of thousands of units of Body Essence if not more!
"He is not human... He is a beast! A monster!"
"Just how can he possess so much essence? He doesn’t even look exhausted at all!"
"What was that power? What kind of Martial Technique was that? It couldn’t be his Blessing, could it?"
Beings one after another asked their questions as they tried to figure out the origin of Khal’s Sub-Zero Domain, but unfortunately, none of them were able to get an answer as soon enough an even greater shock hit them right in the face!

The sound of an explosion resounded in the surroundings as the chunks of ice flew everywhere, only coming to a complete halt once they crashed into the frozen ground in the distance, raising veils of ice dust in the air!
"Amazing! That first one! What kind of technique was that?"
Under the stupefied gazes of every being and also Khal, Cagrown, who should have been blasted into hundreds of pieces before getting frozen inside the explosion now stood motionlessly and without any sign of injury, his eyes flickering with golden light quite eerily!
"Impossible! How did he survive that attack?" inside Moon Sect, Elder Rene stood up from the shock he was currently feeling, his fingers clenched into tight fists from both anxiety and helplessness!
And it was not only him but other Elders and even disciples too, as they simply couldn’t accept the truth despite it being shown to them right at that very moment!
’Why did he not die?’ with a calm facade but worried heart Khal pressed his feet against the ground and quickly began to move around the place, trying to avoid Cagrown’s stare as much as he possibly could.
[His ability is Power Neutralization for a reason. You have to kill him without using any of your Power Cores, that is your only chance.]
’Tsk... So annoying.’ Khal thought but soon smiled and added, ’Then I guess I can only use that.’
"Oh? Trying to avoid my sight?" Cagrown smiled calmly when he noticed how Khal zig-zagged around him with almost lightning speed.
"Then let me do... this!"
Whoosh!
BAM!
With a quick step which was akin to teleportation, Cagrown appeared ten meters away from his original spot, and with a powerful swing with his right fist, he punched the still running Khal right in the face, sending his body flying for the second time in a short amount of time!
[I forgot to mention this, but his Truth-Seeking Eye can allow him to see your path. He can literally predict your movement.]
"Cough... Thanks... At least now I know it." Khal mumbled sarcastically, and once he was on his feet and wiped the blood away from the corner of his mouth he lowered his posture and said, "Though, lucky for me, now I can easily kill him from here."
Cagrown upon seeing how Khal bent his knees as if he was ready to start running just kept smiling before his complexion for the first time paled and quickly raised his hand to clap, but strangely, this time failed.
"Eh? When?" looking down, Cagrown watched with widened eyes as both his hands and legs suddenly got clasped by several thick cords of blood that were connected to the ground.
He was completely trapped not allowing him to move his limbs even a single inch!
"Got you!" Khal showed a cold smile as he controlled his own blood from a distance with his Bloodshed Touch and without wasting a single second activated his Unknown Art which he acquired way back in the Zero Realm.
BOOOOOOM!
Khal’s body flashed and blurred for a fraction of a second once his feet were pushed deep into the ground, to the point where a huge crater with ten meters in radius formed, and with a speed that was so fast that none of the Second Realm beings were capable of following with bare eyes, Khal appeared right before Cagrown with his nails shining with a deep green hue as if they were covered in a layer of toxic liquid!
Cagrown seeing that he had no chance of avoiding this strike which targeted his heart nor could he nullify the powers that bound him, he quickly opened his mouth and shouted;
"I give up!"
Cagrown’s voice was loud and everyone could hear it as clear as thunder, but to everyone’s shock, Khal’s attack didn’t stop. No, as a fact, it became even faster and with powerful thrust with his hand, he pierced Cagrown straight through his heart!
Squelch!
Vomiting up a huge amount of blood that contained shattered organs, Cagrown stared with widened eyes at Khal and asked in a low and extremely frail voice, "You... Do you have... Any idea what you have done?"
"Yes. Getting rid of a possible threat." Khal said coldly and nimble shift of his body he pulled his hand out of Cagrown’s body and kicked his body into the far distance where it quickly disintegrated into a meat pulp thanks to his Toxic Nails!
