Chapter 416: Truth-Seeking Eye & Power Neutralization
Time seemed to freeze the moment Cagrown stood up from the debris and locked his gaze with Khal who stood still in the distance with a tightly clenched fist slightly raised before his chest.
None of the two spoke nor blinked, just stood in one place letting the silence slowly overtake the surroundings which previously were filled with the sound of blasts!
Though, this only lasted for a few seconds as it was not long before Cagrown’s smile grew even more and broke the silence, "You... How did you do it?"
"Did what?" Khal frowned as he lowered his hand but still kept his gaze on Cagrown. He even activated his Heaven’s Eyes just to make sure he won’t get caught out of his guard for the second time.
"Don’t act as if you don’t know what I want to know." Cagrown smiled mysteriously and as he patted the dust off his clothes he said, "You have moved way too fast, faster than any peak Ascender Stage beings I have met so far. Was it perhaps a Martial Technique?"
Khal listened to Cagrown’s words with a nonchalant look and without any reply. It was pretty obvious from the way he stood and stared at Cagrown that he didn’t wish to answer him.
"I see, so you like to keep secrets, huh?" Cagrown sighed before his eyes turned rainbowish and added, "Then let me see it for myself."
"Huh?" Khal’s eyes widened when he suddenly felt an unknown power invade his body without him having the smallest chance to do anything against it!
"Huh? It seems you have way more mysteries than I have thought. But... Why is it that I can’t see them at all?" Cagrown mumbled as his silver brows lowered into a small frown.
[Not good! Khal, you must kill him now!]
Suddenly, Nova’s voice appeared inside Khal’s head, seemingly being rather anxious almost as if she had just seen something scary.
Khal although didn’t understand why Nova was acting the way she was, he was smart enough to understand that anyone that was capable of making a Celestial Existence that once lived in the Sixth Realm become worried to this point was by no means someone normal and was indeed someone who had to be killed no matter what!
That is why when Khal heard the words’ of Nova he didn’t hesitate and summoned his Gravity Armament and clenched his fingers into a tight fist!
BOOOOOM!
Just like during the previous battle against the black lizard, the whole landscape around Khal underwent a great change where the earth split and the air shook while the space even trembled slightly, threatening to collapse at any given moment!
"Gravity-type attack? And one this strong?" Cagrown showed a surprised expression as he looked left and right, seemingly completely unfazed by the crushing power that weight down on his body in the hope to smash him into meat paste!
"How?" for the first time after a very long time, Khal became utterly speechless as he stared with widened eyes at Cagrown’s figure in front of him.
[Power Neutralization... So he possessed such an ability too? It seems he is way more of a threat than I have believed.]
"Power Neutralization?" Khal asked out loud accidentally, earning an amused smile from Cagrown who immediately heard what he just asked.
"So you have recognized my Blessing? Interesting." Cagrown said and slowly raised both his hands before his chest as he added, "Then I guess I don’t have to hold back."
Clap!
With a powerful and quick movement, Cagrown clapped loudly and under the stupefied gazes of both Khal and those that were currently watching their fight, the armor on Khal vanished together with the crushing gravity in the surroundings!
"Wha-" Khal’s pupils shrunk to the smallest size possible when he saw how his connection with his Gravity Armament was severed, but even before he could have thought about a reason why or how things happened, Cagrown appeared before him and swung his fist, punching him right in the face!
BAM!
With an explosion that created not only powerful ripples that traveled several tens of meters but also a tremor that split the ground below Cagrown’s own feet, Khal’s body was sent flying like a cannonball, traveling hundreds of meters in the air before coming to a halt once his body crashed into the ground!
"Cough... Cough..." coughing up huge amounts of blood with even a single tooth, Khal supported himself on both hands as he turned his head around to see Cagrown in the distance.
[Power Neutralization is an ability that cancels any type of power or technique around the user and even seals them away for a limited time! In advanced stages, it can even seal one’s mind or movement away, allowing the user to kill any of his or her opponents in a single second!]
’That doesn’t sound assuring at all.’ Khal thought as he stood up and wiped the blood away from the corner of his mouth.
[Yeah, but the biggest problem here is his eyes. I have seen those eyes before, they are called Truth-Seeking Eye.]
’Truth-Seeking Eyes? Seems pretty powerful.’
[Because it is! As a fact, it is extremely powerful! It not only allows one to detect flaws in techniques and skills, but it can also see abilities that one has yet to use!]

’No, I can’t allow him to stay alive. He is just way too dangerous!’ Khal thought with a sharp glare and summoned his Soul Piercer into his hand before pulling its string back and firing a Soul Piercing Arrow at Cagrown with a huge amount of his essence channeled into it!
