The entire place became deadly silent after Yuan revealed what he witnessed to the others.
Even if Qian Chu’s supporters refused to believe Yan Hara, there was no way they would dare accuse the Divine Paragon of lying.
"Qian Chu, that traitor! How dare he betray humanity and work with the demons?!"
"A Demon Emperor, no less!"
"I knew there was something off about the Supreme Demon Sealer Qualifications! I bet he wanted to get rid of the participants from the beginning!"
Yan Hara’s supporters shouted out loud as they angrily stomped their feet.
Meanwhile, Qian Chu’s supporters—at least those who weren’t spies and were genuine Demon Sealers stopped supporting him at that point and switched sides.
"What happened to Qian Chu and the Demon Emperor?"
"Isn’t it obvious? The Divine Paragon killed them!"
However, Yuan shook his head and said in a calm voice, "No, I didn’t kill them."

They all turned to look at him with puzzled faces.
"I let them go," Yuan continued, admitting that he’d purposefully let them escape.
"W-Why would you let them go...?" Someone suddenly asked.
Yet, Yuan narrowed his gaze and coldly muttered, "Are you asking me to explain myself?"

Another Demon Sealer slapped the guy who just spoke in the back of his head and shouted loudly, "Who the hell do you think you are?! The Divine Paragon doesn’t need to explain anything! If he wants us to jump off a bridge, we will obey without a word!"

Yuan sighed inwardly before turning around and walking away.
"I want every Demon Sealer present at the Grand Library in three days. I have some important information to share with everyone," Yuan said as he left the Valley of Demons.
Nobody stopped him.
The Divine Paragon’s return was so sudden and unforeseen that even now, none of them could fully process it, their minds struggling to keep up with reality.
"The... Divine Paragon has truly returned to us...?"
After a moment of silence, they started chanting like a bunch of cultists, "The Divine Paragon has returned!"
Outside the Valley of Demons, Yuan approached Meixiu and said to her, "I will spend some time at the Myriad of Techniques. If you have time, let’s catch up."
Meixiu turned to look at Keling.
"You don’t have to say anything," Keling spoke up before Meixiu could. "If you want to extend your break for a little longer, I have no issues."
"Thank you, master."
Keling looked at Yuan and smiled, "In exchange, I would like a friendly exchange with you."
Yuan calmly nodded, "I had a feeling you would ask for a spar. Alright."
"See you at the Myriad of Techniques."
Yuan left the venue altogether shortly after.
Meixiu and Keling followed him, but since they entered from the Ninth Heaven, they were separated the instant they walked through the portal.
While Yuan made his way to the Myriad of Techniques, news of the Divine Paragon’s return spread throughout the Nine Heavens like an uncontrollable wildfire, reaching every nook and cranny in the blink of an eye.
"Divine Paragon? Who is that?"
"You don’t know who he is?! He’s the founder of the Demon Sealing Clan and the reason that demons are no longer a threat to civilization!"
"The Divine Paragon first appeared while the demons were running rampant, enslaving humans and treating us like livestock!"
"What do you mean he returned? It’s been a long time since the Demonic Era. Where did he go? And what is so significant about his return?"
"He disappeared near the end of the Demonic Era. Nobody knew where he’s gone until recently and assumed that he’d died. However, it turns out he was in the Demonic Realm—the home to demons—this entire time."
"Where is the Divine Paragon right now?"
"I heard that he’s resting at the Demon Sealing Clan’s Grand Library, a place only accessible to Demon Sealers."
"I don’t understand the hype. He may have been an important figure in the past, but that era is long gone," someone remarked, unable to comprehend why the Divine Paragon’s return was causing such a massive uproar.
"You imbecile! He’s the savior of humanity! Even a single strand of his hair is worth more than your entire legacy!"
"Not to mention the demons’ increased activity recently. With the Divine Paragon’s return, they won’t dare to act so openly any more!"
Eventually, the news reached the Celestial Emperor’s ears.
"The Divine Paragon, hm?" the Celestial Emperor muttered, seemingly uninterested in the matter.
In his eyes, regardless of the Divine Paragon’s past accomplishments, it had nothing to do with him.
And as many had already said, that era was long gone.
However, as the Celestial Emperor, he couldn’t just sit still and do nothing.
"Send a messenger to the Divine Paragon and tell him that I’d like to meet him, even reward him for his past achievements," said the Celestial Emperor, pretending to care even if he didn’t.

Upon arriving at the Myriad of Techniques, Yuan headed directly to Senior Bai’s personal world.
As expected, Meixiu and Keling were already there. However, there was one additional person present—someone he had not anticipated seeing.
"Senior Bai..."
A stiff smile surfaced on Yuan’s face when he saw the familiar old man, whose appearance seemed even older than before—or more accurately, far wearier, as though he had been working nonstop since their last encounter.
Even without exchanging a single word, Yuan already had a rough idea why Senior Bai was there.
Before anyone else could speak, Senior Bai broke the silence.
"It has been a long time, little friend... though you are no longer the young man I first met."
After a brief pause, he continued, "I would like to have a conversation with you... once you are finished with your business with them."
Without giving Yuan a chance to respond, Senior Bai turned around and flew away.
Seeing this, Yuan sighed inwardly.
"Do you know what happened to Senior Bai? He looks... and feels different," Meixiu asked him a moment later with a worried frown.
