"The Resentment Celestial Demon..." Dong Fangyu had read about this being in the family archives long ago, but he never thought he would one day witness it with his own eyes.
With a flicker, he shot backward, rapidly putting distance between himself and Dong Baishuang.
Many Elders of the Dong Family sensed the alarming change and flew over to investigate.
Dong Fangyu yelled, "Third Aunt suffered a deviation while practicing a Demon Skill! She’s been corrupted by a Celestial Demon! Quick, activate the Island Defense Array!"
Everyone was stunned by his words.
The next moment, the Island Defense Array of Ao Mountain Island began to activate. Countless phantom Talismans of varying sizes materialized in the sky; some were over a hundred zhang wide, while others were merely a foot long.

The Talisman Array instantly erupted in a blinding spiritual light. Countless Talismans bloomed with radiance, forming dense, overlapping layers to block the Li Hen Demon Light’s assault.
But it was a calculated strike against a hasty defense. The Li Hen Demon Light and the thirty-three "Celestial Ghosts" suddenly spun like a drill, violently boring a hole straight through the Talisman Array.
The ball of Demonic Light then latched onto the Grand Array, transforming into a Demon Flame that burned away at the opening, preventing the array from repairing itself.
Meanwhile, a dense, pitch-black Demon Fog billowed out from the void around Dong Baishuang. A shocking demonic intent swelled like a tidal wave, spreading in all directions.
Her body was consumed by black flames, turning to ash in the blink of an eye.
The phantom of the Resentment Celestial Demon behind her then stretched out its hands and tore viciously, ripping a rift open in the void.

These jellyfish-like Celestial Demons latched onto the Restriction Spiritual Light of the Island Defense Array like inky-blue splotches. They began to corrode the Grand Array, and thick, black Demonic Qi started to bleed across its curtain of light.
The Dong Family Patriarch gave a bitter smile and said to Dong Fangyu, "Go to Yinluo Island and call for aid. Quickly."
Dong Fangyu dared not delay. He immediately transformed into a streak of light, shot through the Island Defense Array, and flew toward Yinluo Island.
Just then, another tremendous roar echoed from the center of the Demon Fog.
A ferocious, ten-zhang-tall giant with three heads and six arms strode out of the Demon Fog.
The giant’s body was covered in violet-black scales, with sharp bone spurs jutting from its shoulders and elbows. Its face, however, appeared to be skinless, a mask of scarlet flesh that exuded a bloody mist, obscuring its features.
Its aura was at the Life Talisman level.
A Tier Two Celestial Demon.
The Dong Family Patriarch heaved a long sigh. Just as he was about to strike and kill the demon, several more tremendous roars echoed in quick succession, and a few more Three-headed Six-armed Celestial Demons emerged from the Demon Fog.

Cai Li stood outside the hall with a grave expression, gazing into the distance.

Cai Li frowned. "I’m afraid something has happened on Ao Mountain Island."
"The Ao Mountain Dong Family?" A vague sense of foreboding came over Fang Cheng.
