Chapter 113: Chapter 111: Visualization Image
The Ghost Market.
Every time he came to the Magic World, Zhu Ju would take a stroll through this place.
For one, he might come across something useful. For another, it was a convenient place to gather information.
Over time, he had become a familiar face to many people here.
"Here."
The Tomb Immortal handed over two sheets of paper and said,
"Medicines that can increase one’s Divine Soul Power are rare, and most of the formulas have been lost. These are two that I managed to find after much difficulty."
"Bright Soul Soup and Purifying Spirit Pill."
"As for the ingredients required for these two recipes, only the world’s top sects could possibly gather them all. No one below that level could manage it."
"My thanks." Zhu Ju reached out and took them. "Has there been any progress regarding the Magical Artifacts?"
’If it’s impossible in this world, it might not be in the Main World.’
’The names of medicines might differ between the two worlds, but there are plenty with similar effects. As long as I have the recipe, I might be able to replicate them.’
’If I can do that, my Magic Cultivation will advance by leaps and bounds.’
Most Cultivators in this world relied on arduous training to accumulate their Cultivation. Very few were qualified to use medicinal supplements.
"Magical Artifacts are hard to come by. It’s not that easy," the Tomb Immortal said, shaking his head.
"And your requirements are high. You want Five Elements Objects, or a set of five Magical Artifacts with harmonious auras..."
"Even a Great Mage might not have something like that."
"Is that so?" Zhu Ju frowned.
"Materials would also work, but they must be of high enough quality. They can’t lose their Spirituality from a mere brush with Evil Qi."
"That, I might be able to do." The Tomb Immortal thought for a moment, then said,
"I’ll find some time to ask around for you."
"Thank you for your trouble." Zhu Ju cupped his hands in a fist.
An Innate Qi Refiner from the Main World possessed a formidable Physical Body. Ordinary artifacts from the Magic World couldn’t even break through their defenses.
Take his Jade Hairpin, for example. Against an Outer Sect Disciple who had cultivated the Earth Evil True Body, the hairpin would probably lose its Spirituality and turn into a mundane object before it even got close, corrupted by their Evil Qi.
To pose a threat to an Innate Qi Refiner, a Magical Artifact had to be brimming with Spirituality and unafraid of Evil Qi.
"Also, about the Visualization Technique."
Zhu Ju spoke up.
"Which Mages in Yidu can provide a Visualization Technique?"
"Things aren’t going well with Xing Suanzi?" The Tomb Immortal looked up, seemingly unsurprised.
"There are quite a few local Mages, but very, very few are willing to let others see their personal Visualization Technique."
"A Visualization Technique is the foundation of a Mage. Even their closest relatives or disciples must pass numerous trials to view it."
"There are only three factions that make them available to outsiders."
He held up three fingers.
"The Demon Hunting Association, the Court, and the Celestial Capital Sect."
"For the first two, you have to complete certain tasks for the association or the Government Office to earn the chance to view a Visualization Image."
"Only the Celestial Capital Sect, which claims to teach all without discrimination, allows you to view a Visualization Image as long as you’re willing to pay."
"The Celestial Capital Sect..." Zhu Ju pursed his lips. "As the number one sect in the world, is Xing Suanzi their only Mage in the area?"
"Of course not." The Tomb Immortal shook his head.
"But he holds the Night Parade of Hundred Ghosts and is in charge of passing on the Visualization Technique. Unless you go somewhere else, you can’t get around him."
"Heh heh..."
"No need to rush!"
At this, he let out a low chuckle.
"You just need to serve Xing Suanzi well. In due time, you’ll surely get a chance to access the Visualization Technique."
"Serve...?" Zhu Ju’s gaze turned cold.
"I don’t know how to serve people."
"Then it will be difficult." The Tomb Immortal shrugged.
"Cultivation is hard, seeking the Dao is hard, the Great Path is hard... everything is hard..."
"Xing Suanzi has a taste for beautiful women. I remember someone once gave him his own wife just to view the Visualization Technique."
"When you’re pursuing the Great Path, what’s a little grievance?"
"Hmph!" Zhu Ju snorted softly.
"Compared to fawning over others, I prefer a fair transaction."
"By the way."
He changed the subject, asking,
"Has something happened recently? On my way here, I noticed a lot more Cultivators than usual."
"You don’t know?" The Tomb Immortal was taken aback.
"Buddha’s Birthday is almost here."
"Every year on Buddha’s Birthday, the Bamboo Mountain Temple opens its gates wide and distributes Buddha’s Heart Dew to Cultivators."
"That stuff is excellent for aiding one’s Cultivation."

Yingxian Residence.
Night had fallen, but the building was still brightly lit.
Shouts and clamor occasionally drifted from the second floor, a clear sign that a banquet was in full swing.
"Young Master."
Feng Hongda cupped his hands in a fist.
"For Xing Suanzi to summon you at this hour... I’m afraid it’s not to discuss the Visualization Technique. It’s possible... it’s possible he just wants you to pay the bill."
"Hah..." Zhu Ju let out a light laugh.
"That makes sense."
"It’s a bit late for a formal discussion. Still, anyone Xing Suanzi treats to a meal must be of high status."
"Who is it?"
"The only son of Yidu’s General Wan, Wan Zian," Feng Hongda said.
"He’s not very old, but he’s a veteran of the pleasure quarters. He acts arrogant and domineering, relying on his father’s influence."
"No one in the city dares to provoke him."
’The General of Yidu?’
Zhu Ju nodded slowly, his gaze then shifting to the building across the street.
The Jile Workshop!
If the Yingxian Residence was considered diligent for still being open at this hour, then business at the Jile Workshop was just hitting its peak.
The colorful lanterns hanging outside exuded a decadent aura, their light and the sounds of laughter luring in passersby.
’The Jile Workshop rakes in money hand over fist, yet Xing Suanzi, its Workshop Master, is so calculating. He’s really one of a kind.’
Shaking his head, Zhu Ju asked,
"Are you heading to the Jile Workshop?"
"Yes." Feng Hongda gave an embarrassed smile.
"Don’t worry, Young Master. I’ll be right back. I won’t cause any delays."
"At your age, you should be thinking about getting married and starting a family," Zhu Ju said, patting him on the shoulder in an admonishing tone.
"Don’t spend all your money in places like this. You should think more about your future."
"No... it’s not..." Feng Hongda froze.
"Young Master, you’ve misunderstood. I..."
"Never mind."
He cut himself off with a helpless sigh, watching as Zhu Ju entered the Yingxian Residence before turning and stepping into the Jile Workshop himself.
"Ooh!"
"Isn’t it Brother Feng?"
"Here to see Sister Yueh again?"
"Hee hee..."
"Go on, she’s waiting for you in the back!"
