Chapter 439: Chapter 382: Research, Promotion, and the New Patroller

Nolun13th Plane, the faint light of Spatial Teleportation stabilized inside the private laboratory.

Jeming let out a slow breath, as if the strange fragrance of the delicacies from that grand feast was still lingering in his nasal cavity.

That was by no means an ordinary banquet.

The table was piled high with exquisite dishes, all conjured out of nothing by Alchemy, yet their taste, the Energy contained within, and even various special effects unique to certain species long extinct were all genuinely real, bringing his taste buds and Soul a double, ultimate enjoyment.

Jeming had even tasted a cup of fine liquor said to be brewed from the cerebral Essence of a "Star Rainbow Whale" that had long vanished in the river of history; that flavor felt as if he had poured a miniature, resplendent starry river straight into his belly.

"Alchemy... truly is a miraculous art that turns the impossible into the possible." Jeming couldn’t help sighing again.

In theory, as long as one’s attainment in Alchemy was profound enough, and one’s understanding of the material composition, Energy circulation, and informational imprint of the target existence was sufficiently thorough, one could ignore the barriers of time and space and perfectly reproduce it.

Right now, he could barely synthesize some simple organic compounds; there was still an immeasurable gulf of knowledge and technical barriers between him and that Realm of reproducing all things.

Beside him, Viola, Professor Clark, and junior Anger had also returned together to Nolun No.13 Academy.

After Anton Buchanan’s promotion was completed, there were clearly other matters to be discussed, but those had nothing to do with them.

The ones who stayed behind earlier were all Wizards of Seventh Level and above; after the banquet ended, Jeming and the others obediently followed their professor away.

Since the matter had concluded, once they were back at Nolun No.13 Academy, everyone planned to go their own way.

Jeming did the same as before: after establishing a link with the Death Replacement Doll, he placed his Spare Body in Professor Clark’s laboratory.

Before they parted, Professor Clark specially reminded him, "In the near future, pay closer attention to notices inside the Academy and the Workshop. There may be some rather important changes."

Jeming and the others exchanged looks and nodded in understanding.

The birth of an Eighth Level Wizard didn’t mean much for the Wizard Civilization as a whole, but for Nolun Workshop and the surrounding forces, it was anything but trivial.

It signified not only a leap in the top-end combat power of Nolun Workshop, but would also directly affect the power structure of the surrounding Wizard Influences centered on Nolun Workshop, including the "Tower of Annihilation" and the "Chaos Secret Sect."

The redistribution of resources, shifts in discourse power, subtle adjustments in cooperative and competitive relationships...

However, Jeming also understood that the Wizard Civilization was currently in an expansion phase, with a vast stock of external resources. Even if changes did occur, they wouldn’t be drastic; he could still peacefully stay in the Purgatory Sulfur Plane, doing research and living a quiet life.

After saying goodbye to his professor and fellow students, Jeming didn’t linger; he directly activated his Plane authority and returned to his main base—the Purgatory Sulfur Plane.

The familiar scent of sulfur, mixed with the faint sense of order brought by the operation of the Incense Fire Divine Dao network, rushed toward him and steadied his mind.

Back in the laboratory, Jeming immediately began handling the backlog of affairs.

The first priority was to fulfill Professor Clark’s previous purchase of a large quantity of Spiritual Qi.

He entered the specially designed "Spiritual Qi Extraction Room" in the lab and activated the Array.

At once, the Incense Fire Divine Dao network covering the entire Plane rippled slightly; the purified Spiritual Qi, which had undergone preliminary Transformation, converged from all over the Plane as if responding to a Summon.

It was refined and compressed through a complex Rune Array, and finally injected into special storage crystals inscribed with powerful stabilizing and isolating Runes.

Because the amount Professor Clark needed was too large, Jeming spent most of half a day to finish preparing the concentrated Spiritual Qi worth ten thousand units of High Level Military Merits.

After carefully sealing it, he sent it to Professor Clark’s laboratory via the Cross-plane Teleportation Array.

Checking the Plane’s Spiritual Qi reserves on the nearby monitoring device, Jeming couldn’t stop the corners of his mouth from curling up wildly.

If he could sell off this entire stash of Spiritual Qi, he might just be able to scrape together enough for another Death Replacement Doll.

Of course, Jeming also knew this was purely his own fantasy.

At least before he made a name for himself among High Tier Wizards, his biggest customers for buying Spiritual Qi would probably remain his fellow members in Nolun Workshop.

Next, he opened the Magic Network Terminal, which was almost bursting with accumulated messages.

The first thing he dealt with was Blake’s barrage of "delivery reminders."

Jeming still had no idea where Blake found so many customers; that guy’s demand for "Liquid Refined Gold" seemed absolutely endless.

Even though before leaving this time he had already prepared a sufficient stock of Liquid Refined Gold for Blake based on previous consumption rates, Blake had started sending him messages urging shipment as early as last month.

Looking at the order requests, Jeming could only smile helplessly.

At this rate of growth, it probably wouldn’t be long before his annual income just from selling Liquid Refined Gold would rival the yearly revenue from the "Self-Stabilizing Field Regulation Protocol" technology.

Which meant that the required volume of Liquid Refined Gold would also increase substantially; fortunately, producing Liquid Refined Gold was already a routine task for him.

He went to the automated Alchemy factory sector, adjusted the parameters, fed in resources, and soon a batch of flowing, golden-shimmering liquid Metal was produced. After carefully packaging it, he shipped it to Blake at the first opportunity.

Then, he saw a cautiously worded inquiry from Dean Avery Knight.

It seemed that the news of Anton Buchanan’s intent to advance was not exactly top-secret within the upper echelon circles.
