Chapter 2109: Heavenly River (2)

After the situation with the heavenly river calmed down and officially came to an end, Mui found herself being dragged away by Elder Song alongside Song Jia, who hadn’t seen much action this time around. None of the sect elders or disciples were aware of what happened to the two of them following their hour-long scolding by Elder Song as the two soon emerged without a sound and seemingly disappeared from the face of the sect after getting Baobao settled in.

The only saving grace for the troublemakers in question being the simple fact that the heavenly river hadn’t caused any damage to the sect and had only ended up turning into an immense opportunity for the group of disciples that had been dragged into aiding its creation by Mui earlier. Not to mention, now that the heavenly river had been established and had essentially turned into a new permanent thing found within the Shattered Star Peaks, it earned the direct approval of all the sect’s elders and disciples following the Path of comprehending the Dao of Water.

Just a short time after the establishment of the heavenly river, these disciples and elders alike had already flocked to the heavenly river to observe its movement and deepen their comprehension of the Dao of Water.

However, shortly after these elders and disciples excitedly flocked to the heavenly river above and attempted to land of the heavenly river to more easily grasp the profound Dao of Water hidden within, they realized that there was some kind of powerful force within the heavenly river that made it difficult for them to approach the heavenly river and even more difficult to remain on it for more than a few seconds.

The only exception to this strange terrifying pressure that made it difficult for them to land on the heavenly river and more easily grasp the Dao of Water through it being Baobao and the disciples who had helped in the creation of the heavenly river, as they were found to be able to freely move around on the heavenly river and directly ignore this strange pressure.

Luckily, though this terrifying pressure seemed to be growing even more powerful along with the growth of the heavenly river, it was clear that comprehending the Dao of Water to a certain degree helped alleviate this terrifying pressure and the places where it had only started expanding in were significantly weaker. Allowing most people to linger around with relative ease. The only real problem being that the presence of the Dao of Water was more difficult to sense and comprehend in areas where this strange pressure was weaker. So, if possible, most attempted to land directly on the circular heavenly river.

At the very least, for now, the pressure of the heavenly river was only enough to push off someone at the Early Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, as those beyond it could remain for a long time before being pushed off while someone at the Soul Ascension Realm and above could essentially remain on the heavenly river indefinitely.

Of course, this was only something that was the case for now, as the heavenly river could still be considered to have just been born and was still in a weak state. By the time it truly grew and spread throughout the Shattered Star Peaks, it might be difficult even for someone at the Profound Immortal Realm to casual step onto the heavenly river without having comprehended the Dao of Water, let alone the core region that was the circular section of the heavenly river above the Seventh Star Peak.

Already partly aware of this, it was understandable that the elders and disciples strong enough didn’t dare waste any time as the already small heavenly river had already become crowded. The only place left untouched being a small hundred-meter-wide area around the sky spring where Baobao had essentially established a small home for itself on the heavenly river. Eagerly bobbing its small body up and down with excitement around the sky spring that kept feeding it with a constant stream of pure spiritual water rich in spiritual qi that soon enough came out even purer than before after going through Baobao before forming a thin mist that descended towards the sect below. Dispersing on the way before spreading outwards to enhance the overall concentration of spiritual qi of the Seventh Star Peak.

In a sense, the entire heavenly river that circled the Seventh Star Peak acted in a similar manner, causing the concentration of spiritual qi on the Seventh Star Peak to slowly increase beyond that of the rest of the Shattered Star Peaks. Not allowing the concentrated spiritual qi to disperse throughout the Shattered Star Peaks as easily as it had done in the past with the spiritual qi slowly trickling down from above almost forming an invisible wall of spiritual qi stretching all the way from the circular heavenly river above to the ground below that made it far more difficult for the spiritual qi to spread out from the Seventh Star Peak. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Learning about this, it wasn’t just Feng Chen and the rest of the sect elders who were excited, but more so the disciples at the base of the Seventh Star Peaks, as the disciple abodes down there were barely within the scope of the area covered by the heavenly river above. For them, it essentially meant that the cultivation environment at the base of the Seventh Star Peak became the same as what the cultivation environment on top of the Seventh Star Peak where the main sect was located had been in the past.

In turn, this made countless young disciples sincerely praise Mui as the most upstanding member of the sect’s younger generation, her former identity as a troublemaker who had made them homeless not that long ago being completely forgotten in the face of this kind of immense benefit she had brought to the entire sect.

Even the elders were starting to view this little troublemaker differently, as the opportunity to comprehend the Dao of Water within the heavenly river was something that would not just be help to them while they were stuck within the Domain Lord Realm or the Soul Ascension Realm, but could serve as a proper dao ground for the sect and could even help them get through the Dao Seed Realm more easily in the future.

After all, it wasn’t just the pressure of the heavenly river that increased over time alongside its size, but the depth and profoundness of the Dao of Water within the heavenly river also slowly deepened alongside this increase in size.

Not just the elders, but even Xuan Hao saw potential in the heavenly river. Feeling that it might even be able to help him further his own comprehension of the Dao of water in the future.

As for the current Dao within the heavenly river... It was at the Small Success Realm from what he could sense, while useful given he himself was at the Small Success Realm when it came to his comprehension of the Dao of Water, he felt it would be better to wait until it reached the depth of the Dao within the heavenly river reached the Large Success Realm before it was worth his time to ponder the Dao upon it.

After all, he had other things to do that would be far better for increasing his strength, one such thing being the earthly treasures that he had momentarily shifted his attention away from to see just what Mui was up to this time around.

Then again, after he finished absorbing those earthly treasures, broke through to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm and challenged the twenty eighth floor of the ascension realm tower, the heavenly river might have grown to the point where it was worth his time.

Even if this would likely be concluded within a few months if everything went according to plan, the heavenly river itself was already close to reaching the Large Success Realm and only needed to properly expand for a bit to successfully reach this level.

As for what would happen when the heavenly river stepped into this level, he had no idea, but he had a feeling something about it would change. After all, it looked a bit too normal for what it was now. Not to mention, he doubted that the little disciple of his truly only wanted to create a home for Baobao. After all, the qi spring lake alone was more than fine after rules had been established regarding the safety of Baobao.

If he wasn’t wrong, he guessed that the true reason behind the creation of this heavenly river had nothing to do with making a new home for Baobao, but instead ensuring that more Baobaos would appear in the future, as this was a clear goal of this little disciple of his and her personal accomplice, Song Jia, who had been doing something behind the scenes while the heavenly river had been established...
