The small red drop appeared in front of Reyansh, smaller than previous drops but it felt more alive to Reyansh. Immediately, he could sense that this drop of blood had more essence than 2 liters SSS-rank Boss-class monster.
He applied the same technique to the drop again, but nothing happened. He only felt slight pull from the blood essence before everything returned to normal.
’Okay, now I get it,’ Reyansh thought internally.
He had this hypothesis when he was extracting essence from SSS-rank blood but now that he had moved to Saint-rank, his thoughts were right.
Even if two things are of the same type but one has higher core rank then one with the smaller core rank will always be weaker comparatively.
’Now, I understand why they all were amazed and intrigued when I had killed Jai, an S-ranker.’ He realized.
A look of realization appeared on Reyansh’s face, Lyrielle noticed that expression.
’What did you understand, boss?’ Lyrielle finally spoke, intrigued about his findings.
’I know why core rank is important and the most essential marker for strength. Even with my Mythical talents, there’s a limit to which I can exert their power.’ He explained.
’However, if my core rank were higher, I could exert better control and more strength. My current power vastly differ from others at same rank because I have talents that far surpasses the limits of this Dimension.’ He added.
’Wow, boss, I thought you would require more time to reach that conclusion. Now, you know one of the reasons behind mana cultivation and its importance, keep that in mind while moving forward.’ Lyrielle added, agreeing with his statement.
Reyansh nodded as he focused back to ball of blood.
’I have to give my time to cultivation too.’ He decided.
This time he focused on a small portion of the blood drop, pushing himself to near limits as sweat beads formed on his head.
After half an hour later, 2 liters of blood had been reduced to less than a liter of blood essence. He could sense that this blood essence was far superior in every way. Be it shine, smell or density of essence.
He didn’t rest and immediately took out a liter blood of Sage-rank Emperor-class monster.
This time he approached it the same as Saint-rank blood, smaller portions and more strength to root out the essence.
Another half an hour later, the entire liter of blood was reduced to less than half a liter but he could sense an extraordinary strength radiating from the tiny essence drop.

’Let’s finish this quickly,’ he shook off the sleepiness as he focused on the next step of blood puppet.
"Now is the tricky part, there is no particular ratio for creating a blood puppet. It’s all upto me and how I use it." Reyansh spoke as he thought about the way to use the spheres of blood.
Five balls of essence of different size floated in front of him. Biggest was the SSS-rank blood essence, next two were the essence from Jai and his secretary and last two small spheres were Saint-rank and Sage-rank blood essence.
’I want to create puppet for Vanya and something like Sentinels for the new home. I could stall the creation of the Sentinels till Miss Arpita gives me more blood.’ He thought.
’I should create just one blood puppet for Vanya’s protection for now. Since I don’t know the exact strength of blood puppet that will be formed, let’s use little bit of everything.’ He decided.
He used 10 liters of SSS-rank essence, then transferred the rest to the inventory. He looked at the essence of Jai and his secretary for a moment, then separated half of their essence, storing rest in the inventory.
’Now, the most important thing,’ he thought as he looked at two small balls of essence floating in front of him.
After a moment’ thought, he took half of the Saint-rank essence, saving the rest for the Sentinels. Then decided to use the entire Sage-rank essence.
’My actions have already put her in danger once and she is the most vulnerable when she is outside. She is the one that needs to be protected the most,’ he thought as he decided to use entire Sage-rank monster’s essence.
Lyrielle floated at a bit of distance from Reyansh, watching him sweat and yawn, still pushing himself as he stepped towards creating his first blood puppet.
After deciding on the amount of essence, he used blood manipulation to bring all five essence sphere, merging them together.
At the same time, he activated Blood Puppet skill of his talent, the different shades of red signifying different types of essence, started merging together as red colored light filled the room.
"Now, for the final ingredient," Reyansh spoke as a sharp blade manifested in his hand, he made a cut on his left hand palm.
He expected pain but the pain resistance trait spark nullified it before he can even feel the sting.
’Nice.’
The blood pushed forward from the cut, instead of smearing his entire hand, the blood started collecting above his palm.
He collected around 200 ml of his own blood essence while the merging process reached towards the end and the previous large sphere compressed into a small sphere.
He let his own blood essence move towards the large sphere of red light. Just as his own blood essence merged with red light, a large pulse of crimson light shone, much brighter.
He closed his eyes, focusing on the process itself as the sphere pulsed brighter and compressed itself further.
’Okay, I have to give it shape,’ he started thinking about various beasts but suddenly he remembered, ’I have to make it cute too, so that Vanya can’t object to it.’
’Cute...easily able to travel with her...okay...that should do it.’ He decided, keeping his eyes focused and started shaping his first blood puppet mentally.
The process reached its end as Lyrielle watched, the big sphere made of multiple essence had reduced to the size slightly bigger than football.
The next moment, Reyansh opened his eyes as the bright red light subsided and a round red colored slime appeared in front of him as it slowly settled on the ground.
For few seconds, no one spoke, Lyrielle and Reyansh watched silently as the blood slime on the ground shifted slightly.
It had a partially transparent red spherical body with a deep red colored core at the center.
As the silence stretched for a few seconds longer, suddenly a voice echoed in the room.
’Kyuu...Ma..ster?’ the slime jumped slightly.
"Hein?" Reyansh uttered.
"Why a slime?" Lyrielle finally reacted as she kept looking at the little creature ahead.
"You can speak already?" Reyansh blurted the first thing that came to his mind.
"Kyuuu..." The slime bobbled up and down, signaling agreement.
A panel manifested in front of Reyansh while he analyzed the slime.

Reyansh looked at the panel then looked at his creation, the slime bounced slightly, seemingly happy.
Lyrielle flew beside the slime, touching the slime.
"Kyyuuu?"
Meanwhile Reyansh was focused on one thing, Blood Core: SSS.
He could even feel a slight connection to the slime, like a thin red string connecting the slime to him. He used the thread to sense the core of slime.
When his senses reached the core, he felt a sea blood inside the core, the sea felt loud yet silent.
He could still feel all the blood essence used to create this slime however, slowly, he sensed that something else was overtaking the essence and changing it forever.
He felt the changes occurring at visible speed.
"Kyuuu?" the extended its body forming a tentacle, moving towards Reyansh, its creator.
"I am checking your strength," Reyansh spoke in response to slime advances.
"Wait a minute, I could understand even your slime speak. This puppet thing is really rad," Reyansh remarked.
Within few seconds, the entire essence in its blood core was overwritten, completely erasing previous identities, appearing entirely unique.
"Master...name?" the slime spoke.
"Please...master...name?" the slime requested again.
"So, you can talk better now," Reyansh spoke the he looked a Lyrielle observing both of them.
"I created it as a slime because, it’s job will be protecting Vanya. If I didn’t created something cute, she would have tried to find a way to decline the protection." He explained the reasoning behind the slime.
He then looked at Slime again, "You need a name, huh?"
Reyansh rubbed his chin like he was contemplating something important.
"I name you Bob. Your first command that will supersede any other commands in future, your job is to protect my little sister, Vanya Kaul, from all and any harm that may befall upon her." Reyansh ordered his creation.
Another red light shone from the slime but softer this time, something changing in it forever.

While Lyrielle face palmed at the name, "Bob, really?"
On the contrary, the slime jumped reaching Reyansh’s lap, trying to snuggle, showing acceptance towards the name.
"I just felt like Bob and look it’s happy." Reyansh spoke as he yawned again.
"Okay, I am going to sleep. Let’s talk in the morning," He spoke and fell asleep immediately, leaving Lyrielle and Bob looking at each other.
