"Jinglei? A friend of hers was in a car accident. She went to the hospital after getting the call this afternoon," Zhuang Yanyan said while glancing at the clock on the wall. It was already half-past five. "But it’s so late now; why hasn’t she come back yet?"
If it were usual times, her being out for half a day wouldn’t matter much, but now that she’s pregnant, going anywhere inevitably became a concern for Zhuang Yanyan. She worried if something had happened.
"A friend was in a car accident?" Qin Feimo frowned slightly.
He had also received a notification from the Western Suburbs project office two days ago that Xiang Jinnan had been in a car accident on the way to the Western Suburbs and was currently hospitalized for treatment.
