Behind him, Xiang Jinnan seemed a bit anxious.
He glanced at the schedule; it was almost seven. He wondered if Jinglei was getting anxious waiting for him.

As he reached the stairway turn, not caring if that man was a ’Golden Week Eight’ SVIP member, the furious Xiang Jinnan grabbed the man’s collar, dragging him away from Feng Jinglei, and angrily punched him on the left cheek!
In that instant, Xiang Jinnan regretted it—regretted leaving Feng Jinglei here.

As her voice echoed, Xiang Jinnan stopped beating the man and saw her face pale from fear.

His eager and pained expression caused Qin Feimo, still standing on the steps, to let his eyes darken in displeasure.
Feng Jinglei shook her head. Although she still felt lingering fear, she was thankfully safe.
"Quick, stand up." Xiang Jinnan stood up, gently helping her to her feet.
But just as they steadied themselves, the man who had been beaten suddenly kicked at Xiang Jinnan, yelling, "Go to hell!"
Since Xiang Jinnan had his back to the man, and his tall figure blocked Feng Jinglei’s view, the attack came out of nowhere. Xiang Jinnan felt a heavy force and fell onto Feng Jinglei, who hadn’t had time to lift her head.
