Chapter 632: Chapter 632: The Mighty Teng Serpent’s Crisis

That fact alone no longer surprised her.

Thanks to Xuyu, she had already learned about the existence of multiple domains long ago. Among them, the Upper Domain was also known as the God Domain, a place inhabited by countless God Clans.

Each God Clan possessed authority over a different aspect of the world.

Some controlled flames, capable of burning mountains and seas.

Some commanded the winds.

Others ruled over earth, lightning, frost, or countless other natural forces.

The Primordial Tide Clan possessed dominion over water.

As for An Mo’s clan, they occupied an even more terrifying position. Even among the countless God Clans of the Upper Domain, they stood at the very top. They were one of the supreme bloodlines that ruled over the God Domain itself.

Although Xuyu had never explained every detail, Su Qinglan already knew enough to understand just how frightening such clans truly were.

Yet what shocked her was not their power. It was the relationship between the Primordial Tide Clan and the Moon Spirit Serpent Clan.

According to the ancient records, the two clans had ascended into the Upper Domain countless years ago and had existed side by side ever since.

Generation after generation.

Era after era.

Their bloodlines seemed tied together by some invisible force.

Whenever a male heir appeared within one clan, a female heir would eventually appear within the other.

Whenever a female heir was born into one bloodline, a male heir would appear in the other.

The pattern repeated endlessly throughout history.

So consistently, in fact, that countless records described them as destined companions.

Nearly every generation followed the same path.

Without exception.

The Moon Spirit Serpents always fell in love with the Primordial Tide Clan. It was as though fate itself had written their future long before they were born.

As Su Qinglan continued reading, her expression gradually darkened.

By the time she reached the final scroll, her face had already become stiff. Slowly, she closed the last record and placed it on the table. The room immediately became silent once more.

For some reason, An Mo suddenly felt nervous.

Even Xuan Long felt unexpectedly uneasy.

Finally, Su Qinglan lifted her head. Her gaze moved between the two men before she calmly asked, "Just how many clans are there in the Upper Domain?"

An Mo blinked.

"A lot," he admitted honestly. "A terrifying amount."

Su Qinglan nodded thoughtfully before asking another question.

"Are they really powerful enough to snatch my daughter away?"

The atmosphere instantly turned cold.

Xuan Long’s eyes narrowed. An Mo’s expression darkened. Then both men answered at the exact same time.

"No."

Their voices carried absolute certainty.

An Mo crossed his arms and snorted. "The God Clans are powerful. Very powerful. But taking your cub?" His expression became disdainful. "Not while we’re alive."

Beside him, Xuan Long’s gaze turned frighteningly cold. "Anyone who dares touch my cub will die."

The room immediately fell silent. Hearing their answers, Su Qinglan finally felt some of the tension leave her shoulders.

Unfortunately, a new headache quickly took its place. She rubbed her forehead helplessly.

"There are so many domains."

"So many clans."

"Why can’t these people simply stay in their own domain?"

"Why do they always insist on meddling in other people’s lives?"

The moment those words left her mouth, both men suddenly looked awkward.

After all...

They were also from the Upper Domain. Noticing their expressions, Su Qinglan immediately waved her hand.

"I’m not talking about you two."

At once, both men visibly relaxed. Then another thought suddenly occurred to her. Her gaze shifted toward Xuan Long.

"What about the Teng Clan?"

Xuan Long froze.

Su Qinglan continued. "What happened to them? Didn’t they all return to the Upper Domain? They won’t suddenly come back one day, will they?"

This time, Xuan Long’s expression became complicated.

The answer was not simple.

Technically speaking, yes.

The Teng Serpent Clan had already withdrawn.

But could he guarantee they would never return?

No. He couldn’t.

In truth, he had originally intended to return to the Upper Domain himself. He wanted to settle everything personally and ensure that nobody from the Teng Clan would ever dare approach this world again.

Unfortunately, those plans had been completely disrupted by one very small white egg.

The moment his egg appeared, everything changed. He could not leave. The egg required incubation. He refused to leave it behind.

As a result, his plans had been delayed again and again.

Under Su Qinglan’s questioning gaze, Xuan Long eventually explained everything honestly.

After listening quietly, Su Qinglan thought for a moment before nodding.

"Then what are you planning to do?"

This time, Xuan Long answered without hesitation.

"I’ll return."

An Mo immediately looked toward him.

Xuan Long’s voice remained calm, yet the killing intent hidden beneath it was impossible to ignore. "I’ll reclaim my position."

The room instantly became silent.

"If I become Clan Leader again, nobody will dare touch you. Nobody will dare touch our cubs. And nobody will ever repeat what happened before."

An Mo almost whistled. Fortunately, he managed to stop himself.

For countless years, Xuan Long had avoided that position. He had avoided responsibility, avoided authority, and avoided the endless struggles within the clan.

Yet now, the moment someone threatened his family, he was willing to return and seize everything back. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

An Mo could already imagine the chaos waiting for the Teng Clan.

Meanwhile, Su Qinglan considered his words carefully.

"That’s actually a good idea."

Xuan Long blinked in surprise. Then, without warning, Su Qinglan stood up and pulled something out from nowhere.

A moment later, a strange object appeared in her hands.

"What is that?"

Su Qinglan proudly placed it on the table.

"An incubator."

The room immediately became quiet.

This was one of the gifts Xuyu left behind for her. It came together with a lot of baby supplies.

As she thought, she opened the incubator. A soft glow instantly illuminated the interior. Then she carefully picked up the white egg and placed it inside.

The incubator immediately adjusted its internal temperature. The little egg looked remarkably comfortable.

Both men were completely shocked.

Su Qinglan smiled with obvious satisfaction.

"See? The egg can stay inside. It’ll be perfectly fine."

Then she looked directly at Xuan Long.

"If you want to go, then go...don’t delay because of us." Her voice softened slightly. "I’ll take care of our daughter."

Xuan Long froze completely. For some reason, he suddenly felt as though he had been kicked out of his own home. And he couldn’t return until he had sorted everything out.

A deeply wounded expression immediately appeared on his face. He looked at Su Qinglan as though she had abandoned him.

Meanwhile, the white egg gently rolled around inside the incubator and settled comfortably into its new environment.

Xuan Long looked at the egg. Then at the incubator and then at Su Qinglan.

For the first time in a very long while, the mighty Teng Serpent felt an overwhelming sense of crisis.

First, his daughter had stolen all of Su Qinglan’s attention.

Now, even his precious incubation duties had been taken away.

Suddenly, Xuan Long felt as though his streak of misfortune had begun and it had all started with that Teng Clan.
