Chapter 506: Incense Urn And Rusted Dagger

Lin Xuan Qi stopped in his tracks, turned around back at the man, and said, "Deal."

He gave a Spirit Stone he had to the man and the man gave out a sigh before handing him the incense urn.

"What else do you have? My master needs something that could help in his attacks." Lin Xuan Qi asked since he had nine Spirit Stones left with him.

Might as well spend it before he headed back to Hong Feng City.

The man was happy when he heard Lin Xuan Qi.

"I have something that might suit your master perfectly." He took out a dagger that was rusted and had scriptures carved onto the surface of its blade.

"What does this do?" Lin Xuan Qi pointed at the dagger and asked.

"This dagger would allow you to direct all of your Spirit Qi into it and give out a devastating blow.

"It can be used when you have no other options.

"But be aware that your Spirit Qi might be emptied after using it." The man said while he raised the dagger to his face.

"How much?"

"Eight Spirit Stones."

"I only have five Spirit Stones with me." Lin Xuan Qi shrugged and turned around again.

"Wait. Five Spirit Stones it shall be." The man relented and agreed to his bargain.

Once again, he handed the dagger over to Lin Xuan Qi while he received the five Spirit Stones from Lin Xuan Qi.

Lin Xuan Qi had four Spirit Stones left and right now, he needed a manuscript for his plan to work.

He continued and looked around until he saw an old man with a stack of manuscripts laid out in front of his store.

"Do you have anything that’s about Sword Cultivation?" Lin Xuan Qi asked.

He was thinking that with his relationship with Huo Fei Li, it might be better if the sect that he would be setting up dealt with Sword Cultivation.

The old man didn’t even look at him and pointed at one of the manuscripts.

"That’s the Snow Swan Sword Style if you want it. Nothing fancy but it’s good enough for most."

Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head at the old man and asked, "How much?"

The old man raised his hand with his four fingers stretched out.

"Here." Lin Xuan Qi paid the four Spirit Stones and took the manuscript with him.

And now that he had spent all the Spirit Stones he had, Lin Xuan Qi headed out of Wan Shou Fang immediately.

What had happened previously when he came here was still fresh in his mind and he wanted to avoid it.

Lin Xuan Qi walked quickly in the opposite direction of the crowd.

They were gathering to see Long Kong’s fate but he wasn’t interested in any of it.

As fast as he could, he headed back towards his place in the cover of the night.

This time, there wasn’t anyone after him and he was able to get back to his house peacefully.

When he got to the walls of his house, he listened to see if there were any guards passing by before he took a leap and got back into it.

The garden covered in white snow was empty and he was able to leap through it with a single bound.

After he got back into his room, he closed the doors behind him and checked the Artifacts he had gotten from Wan Shou Fang.

There were the containers, talisman papers and ink.

And also he had the incense urn, the rusted dagger and the manuscript.

Lin Xuan Qi picked up the incense urn and directed his Five-Element Qi into it.

Once he did so, the incense urn started to give out a golden glow.

He tried to think of something and his thoughts were projected out as a voice by the incense urn.

Then, he tried to transmit his Five-Element Qi with it.

And it worked, with the incense urn giving out some Five-Element Qi.

Next, he tried the dagger and he was surprised to find out that no matter how much Five-Element Qi he directed into it, it was like an endless pit, able to take in more of his Five-Element Qi.

After he did so, he waited to see if the Five-Element Qi in the dagger dissipated.

And to his surprise, the Five-Element Qi remained.

He wasn’t sure if it was what the Artifact could do or if it was due to the fact that he was using the Five-Element Qi instead of Spirit Qi.

And with his experience so far in dealing with Artifacts, he figured that it was due to the latter.

Lin Xuan Qi figured that he could direct some of his Five-Element Qi into the dagger daily until it accumulated to its maximum.

A blow with the dagger when he was in danger would help him a lot.

Finally, he flipped through the Snow Swan Sword Style manuscript and it was as what the old man had said.

Nothing fancy but good enough.

After he had checked everything, Lin Xuan Qi washed up and got back to bed.

...

Next day.

Lin Xuan Qi woke up early and got the guards to get ready to make the trip back to Hong Feng City.

And when he saw the expressions of reluctance to leave on their faces, he shook his head and said, "I will be buying some gifts for Mistress Xue Cong and the others before we go back.

"You can make use of the time to do so."

"Thank you Master Lin." The guards cupped their hands at him and said.

He wanted to pay a visit to Lu Ting for the Spirit Herbs he needed for the Five-Element Foundation Establishment Pills but he decided against it.

It might be best for him to come here unnoticed.

They left the house shortly after and he bought some of the desserts and snacks for Xue Cong and the others while the guards bought their own souvenirs and gifts.

When everyone was satisfied and done, they set off for the journey back to Hong Feng City.
