Chapter 523: Understanding
The was a moment of shocked silence before everyone started talking all at one.
"But... You can’t"
"Baby... Why not?"
"Master.... What?"
Back and forth the questions went, on and on as everyone first was speaking at Laz but then began arguing with each other.
The only ones not participating in this were Laz and Kennedy. Instead, she was still looking at him with those red tinted eyes, a playful expression on her face along with a half raised smile.
She realized after these years apart that she still understood him, possibly even more than the others.
Laz maintained eye contact with Kennedy, but continued to sip his coffee.
"Big sis worked so hard to make this happen," was the last thing Malene said as she noticed everyone else had quieted down and were staring at Laz and Kennedy.
"You should have known better than to test me," Laz said with a half grin.
"If you asked for it, I would have agreed to it."
"But you knew I wouldn’t."
"The you from six years ago wouldn’t have. The you from now though..."
"I am different. But that doesn’t change anything in the end. I am still me after all."
"That’s one of the reasons I love you, you know?"
"I was curious about that after you set me up. Good to know that everyone is already on your side," Laz joked with a chuckle.
Some of the smarter ones gathered had already understood just what was going on. Death and Famine for instance turned a slight shade of red while War and Pestilence began asking them questions. Nora and Celes shook their heads with a sigh of defeat while Leona and Ruby had face-palmed themselves. Malene was still looking on somewhat oblivious as was Jill who was looking at Lyssa in confusion. For her part, she just shook her head, unsure of what was happening. Vivi was still eating as though none of this concerned her.
"I’m not sure what you had planned to gain by testing master like this?" Death said, her face a slight shade darker. While the girls were always in unison, Death and her sisters relationship with Laz was quite a bit more subservient and therefore they took offense to things directed at him, even if it was Kennedy, the queen, doing so.
"It wasn’t a test so much as a quiz my dear so please don’t look at me like you wish to fight me as we both know you can’t win. Now to my point. If he wanted it, I would have given it to him in a heartbeat, but we would have had to change things around considerably to make it work. With this, we can keep going at our own pace and not have to worry about those changes," Kennedy said to Death with a smile.
"I told you, didn’t I? Ruling and leadership is in his blood, but even he knows what he can and can’t do," Celes said to Kennedy.
"There is nothing he can’t do.... he just chooses not to do some things. After all, his time is precious," Lyssa said, still being one of his biggest fans. Of course she hadn’t meant to blurt this out and ended up turning bright red as everyone’s eyes turned to face her.
She couldn’t help but bury her face in her hands as Jill put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"What our dear little sister said is probably true, but all the same, I’m glad you’re not going to give me any more work to do," Kennedy laughed and turned back to Laz who was still sipping his coffee.
"It’s my wives place to keep me in line after all, even if I were to become unreasonable," Laz said before freezing up. He hadn’t meant to word it like this and was surprised by his own admission.
The only ones more surprised than him were everyone else in the room who looked on at him in shock.
"Wives?"
"But.... I never thought...."
"Could we even.... all of us?"
Thanks to Laz’s loose choice in words, now the discussion had gone someplace else with even Kennedy turning a slight shade of red at the possibilities that Laz had just casually thrown out there.
"Enough girls, we can talk about this later. If you’re agreed then, we need you to look into Nevada for us," Kennedy asked.
"Of course," Laz agreed without argument.
"I want to go with him!" Lyssa said, voicing her desire.
"Me too," Jill said, not wanting to be left out.
"Sorry girls. Lyssa, you’ve got your work to do with Ruby. And now, Jill will be joining you as a junior, so you will need to keep an eye on her," Kennedy said, her voice a bit sweeter when talking to the two young women directly.
"But..."
"Big sis..."
"No butts. Lyssa, you’re not ready yet and you... you’re even more so unready," Ruby said with a stern tone.
"How do you know? I already went into a gate with him before and I came out ok," Jill tried to argue.
"I know. I’m aware of everything that happened. And how many of those elven people died so that you would live, hmm?" Ruby said, looking at the defiant girl.
"I... but that..." Jill stammered, knowing what she meant.
"You’ve gotten training which is good. But even then, you still hesitate to kill. Until you can overcome that obstacle and get stronger, your of no use on something like this," Ruby commented before rubbing the young girls hair.
"Besides, the stronger you get, the more help you can be. Let him go do his thing. After all, we no longer feel too worried that he is going to come home with another girl around his hip and somehow forget all about us, alright? There is plenty of time for you in the future. Alright?" Ruby added on.
"Alright," Jill said, looking down a bit embarrassed by the warmth she was being shown by this mature big sister.
"So no other women huh?" Laz said, thinking that even he wouldn’t be so bold.
Unfortunately for him, the women who were gathered around him heard that and Laz could have sworn he felt the air turn cold in a heart beat.
"That a problem, dear?" Kennedy said, the look in her eyes showing Laz that if he dared, he might lose something very important to him between his legs.
"Right. Fair enough. No more. No more,"
"Oh. That reminds me. I forgot to tell you about the goddess and ...."
Laz had moved quickly to put his hand over Jill’s mouth before anything else came out.
"Anyway, when do we move out?" Laz asked, trying to change the subject to anything else.
"We have a few days while things get prepared for you. After all, you’ll need a clean idea and some other things before you begin," Kennedy said, going through her notes.
For the rest of the day, Laz continued to play with the girls, trying his best to spend time alone with all of them. While it mostly succeeded, there were a few who were busy with their own jobs and didn’t have time to make.
At least, not until Kennedy stole all their phones and threw them off the balcony after trying to get everyone to pay attention and most of the women failing horribly.
As for the nights, it went exactly how you would imagine.
The girls took turns on Laz and with each other.
At one point, Malene seemed to have gotten close to Lyssa in bed and began going to work on her honey pot until Jill came up from behind her to give her a distraction that only her small fingers and nimble tongue could accomplish.
Ruby forced Famine to service her while using a riding crop to ’motivate’ her as Leona and War wrestled around, whoever ended up on top would receive the services of the one on bottom for two minutes before they went at it again. As strong as Leona was, War won most of the time, losing only a few matches to ’make things fair.’
Death and Kennedy spent most of their time together when not with Laz, sometimes just hold each other while watching the others, sometimes engaging in excessive make out sessions. Ruby and Nora ended up treating Celes as their personal plaything for a while until Death and Kennedy got involved and made them get on their knees, one in front and one in back and not stop until Celes was a sloppy mess on the floor.
As for Laz, he lost track of how many times he came or even how many holes he managed to fill. By the time the second night had come to an end, the bed was once again a mess of sweat and love juices and it was only once a large, thick and plush blanket was laid down that everyone just got comfortable and passed out, leaving only Laz awake as he stared at the ceiling.
’Fucking amazing,’ was Laz’s last thought before he drifted off to sleep.
