Chapter 485: The Bath At The Base Of A World Tree
"Why?" Is the question Laz asked when the other maids had been dismissed. In fact, Laz didn’t even ask for them to go, Sylvia just dismissed them as soon as Laz had seen her and Maia standing there.
When they were alone, Laz finally asked the big question, wondering if he would even get a response.
"I told you I would get you for what you did, right?" Maia said, still smiling.
"And so you’re going to be my maid for a bath?" Laz was kind of confused as to what exactly the revenge part of this consisted of.
"Of course not. This was just something I wanted to try," Maia said, laughing.
Turning around, Laz noticed that Ivana, also dressed in a maid outfit, had walked in after the other maids had left, baring the door behind her.
"Ok then. Well, guess I’m not getting a bath so ha ha. Good joke. How’s about I leave so I can turn in early for the night..."
"Not happening. Now come on," Maia said, grabbing Laz’s arm and dragging him over to a bench.
Sitting down, Laz noticed a wooden wardrobe standing open in front of him. Inside of it hung several white robes, most of which were in a small size, but there were some larger ones on one side of it.
"Umm?"
"It’s a bath. Do you normally bath with your clothes on?" Ivana asked, stripping off the maid uniform she had just put on with a slight sigh.
’It wasn’t easy to get this thing on so quickly and now I have to take if off again... I swear," Ivana thought to herself without showing the annoyance on her face.
"But..."
"No buts. My revenge is that you have to come bath with me. And since they don’t trust you, they both decided to accompany us in," Maia said with a sight of her own.
"Although I forget when exactly I needed protection from two girls who are weaker than me..." Maia continued.
Laz had sometimes forgotten because of her size when he saw her that Maia was actually around ten thousand years old. In comparison, Ivana and Sylvia were only a few thousands years old themselves, or basically around their early thirties since they lived to be almost ten thousand years naturally. As for Maia, she would never die unless something happened to her, so it was hard to put her mental state when comparing her with humans.
"My goddess. You really didn’t object to us when we said we wanted to come with.... hmpppp.." Ivana’s mouth was quickly silenced as Maia had covered it with one hand, moving faster than anyone could see.
"Enough out of you. So come on," Maia said, losing her outfit before grabbing a robe and walking naked through a vine like curtain.
Sylvia and Ivana quickly stripped as well and followed her, leaving Laz alone while gazing at the swinging vines as they disappeared.
"I wonder what anyone would say back on earth if I mentioned that I saw and elf queen, an elf priestess and an elven god naked? I mean... I’m sure no one would believe me for one. But for another thing... aren’t there like fetishes around that? And would it be considered cosplay if they were, in fact, real elves? Then what is it called? I’m not sure there is a fetish namesake for species intermingling... or maybe there is? This is going to bother me until I figure it out..." Laz then got undressed himself and leaving his clothes in a drawer of the wardrobe like the others did, he grabbed a robe of his size and followed them.
What greeted him was something he had only ever read about but had never seen before. The entire place was made from what looked like marble with the walls, floors and even roof being one seamless piece. In the middle of the roof was a massive glass skylight that let in a massive amount of sunlight, but it didn’t just head straight down in a beam. Instead, it seemed like it was reflected somehow and made the walls and floor glow a dim yellow. While that wasn’t a lot of light by itself in one area, because it occurred over the entire place, it gave the room a rather comfortable feeling overall.
It was only once Laz walked on the floor that he realized it wasn’t marble, but instead the texture was like that of wood.
"This entire room is made out of one of my largest roots, right at the base of my current self. As for why it’s here... well... you’ll figure that out soon I’m sure," Maia said with a laugh as she was cleaning herself under a water fall of water that was on the side of the room away from the main pool.
Her petite body glistened in the falling water as streams of it washed over her curves. It was a stark contrast to Sylvia and Ivana who were both way taller than her and even taller than Laz himself. As for the water on their body, the constant downpour of the water battered against their big breasts and plump asses, causing them to shake and bounce as they moved.
While it wasn’t what Laz wanted to happen, he couldn’t control the blood flow and showed a reaction at the exotic scene.
’Babes in waterfalls huh? I’m sure that’s a thing for more than just me," Laz said, not hiding his enjoyment of the scene.
Since he didn’t come join them right away, the three ended up looking over and obviously noticing his arousal at the sight before him. All three of them laughed at once and finished before running like little girls and jumping into the huge bath.
"Don’t you dare get in here without cleaning yourself first, got it?" Maia said as her head came up from under the water. It was only know that Laz understood how deep that pool was since only Maia’s head was above water while it only came up to Ivana and Sylvia’s waists, allowing Laz an excellent view of the top half of their bodies.
Just as instructed, Laz set down his robe on some wooden chairs that were between the pool and the waterfall and walked over, looking around for some soap as he stepped in.
He wanted to jumped out immediately after though.
"Fuck... that’s cold..."
"It’s a natural water fall. What did you expect?" Sylvia said with a laugh as she leaned over the side of the pool, her breasts laying flat on the hard surface.
"Not too much for a man such as yourself, right?" Ivana said, standing next to her in full display.
"Ha. Of course not," Laz said stepping back under the waterfall and feeling it wash over him.
As he looked around briefly for some sort of soap, he noticed that the water itself smelled of flowers although eh couldn’t tell which.
’Lilacs?’ Was his best, male guess.
But he noticed that while there wasn’t soap, whatever was in the water washed away the dirt and grim as though it was a soap on it’s own.
’Hmm... impressive," Laz said, although not because of the beauty of it or the feeling on his skin. Instead, he was impressed because he didn’t have to waste time lathering up.
Laz was the kind of guy who would use a two in one body wash and shampoo just so that he didn’t have to worry about washing himself twice.
Either way, Laz scrubbed every part of himself, getting rid of the several days worth of blood and grim that had been on his skin. While he could technically clean his entire body by burning it ever so slightly with his black flame and his skin was amazingly healthy thanks to his energy and realm, that couldn’t exactly count as cleaning oneself.
In the end, Laz just stood under the water and closed his eyes, cutting of all of his senses except for his sense of feeling. The cold caress of the water eventually became warm and familiar, as though a soothing blanket had wrapped itself around his skin. The constant flow of water beating against his back and neck started to feel like a massage from the hands of an angel. From this unique feeling, Laz felt his body relax as his energy began to circulate naturally, entering a special mindset of clarity. While he was at peace, the energy around him was also at peace. But what was different about it was the amount of it was slowing flowing, around and through him. It was like a whirlpool had formed at which he was the center, but it never flowed fast, just slow, even and massive. It pressed down on him from all side as though a massive weight attacked every inch of his body. But even then, he didn’t move, resisting the force by becoming a part of it, not fighting it.
It was only after around ten minutes that Laz opened his eyes to find that the three women were all staring at him now from the pool.
Wanting to feel that water too, Laz walked forward to join them, unaware of what had just happened. When he took a step forward, the step was as light as normal, yet it was heavy like hammer.
The ground slightly rumbled just from his step.
That was enough to wake him out of his calm trance and look down in confusion.
While Sylvia and Ivana were unsure what had just happened, Maia had lived a long time and even had the memories that had been passed on to her from her previous incarnation. Therefore she knew at once what had happened.
"You’ve comprehended something special so you need a moment to feel it out and take control of it," Maia called with a slight smile as she sat upon the edge of the pool, steam rising off her skin from the contact with the air.
"What do you mean?" Laz said, still looking down.
"It’s a type of force or maybe even calling it a law of nature would be accurate. I have no idea how that force came to you from the waterfall since if anything I would have expected something water related, but it’s whatever I guess," Maia said, shaking her head.
"And what exactly is it?" Laz asked, trying to remember the feeling.
"One of the greatest forces of nature... that of gravity itself. It holds the worlds in place one minute and can tear them apart the next. Only you know how you figured that out from a waterfall... but the way your foot was able to rock the root of a god... well... that can only mean that. And while it’s simply a sub category of one of the main forces of nature, it could eventually allow you to understand even the main force."
"Which is?"
"The Law of Space itself."
