Chapter 440: Elf Queen
She was dressed in what Laz could only describe as a one piece swimsuit, but that was assuming the swimsuit was made out of ribbon. The golden ribbon crossed behind her neck while running down and somehow keeping her massive breasts in place despite being almost exposed. While her nipples were kept hidden by the string, everything else was just hanging out there in such a way that it seemed like gravity had no hold on this woman. Her waist was thin and supple although it had a firmness to it that spoke of effort. The ribbons of her clothing ended up below her waist in a V-shape that was hidden behind a light green and white sash wrapped around her thighs like a mini-skirt. The entire ensemble complimented her golden hair that dropped down to her waist along with her emerald green eyes, void of the yellow tint that the others all seemed to posses. Just by looking at her, Laz could see the resemblance of the woman he had almost choked to death although after seeing the mother, Laz couldn’t help but glance back down at the golden haired elf’s chest and wondering just what went wrong there?
"So you are the visitors who have come to my kingdom?" The queen asked, walking with swaying hips towards Laz. Although Laz was somewhat under her spell, he wasn’t completely taken yet. Besides, as beautiful as this woman was, he had seen someone more so. The difference between that red eyed, green haired woman was like the polar opposite to the vision of desire before him right now as he would never have even of been able to have such thoughts about A’ruya.
"Visitors, prisoners, I guess it’s all the same," Laz responded, taking his eyes off her swaying hips and locking them with hers. While this did surprise the queen, she quickly regained herself.
"I see. Well it is in our nature to be careful with those who visit from the outside. You never know who might wander in here and also, it isn’t like we tied you up. Or maybe you would enjoy that? Perhaps you would like to tie me up instead?" The elf queen purred as she got closer to Laz.
The rest of the group had finally gotten themselves off the ground and Jill had come through the archway with a gentle wave from Laz. But now they were all astounded as Laz spoke to this queen who was quite fluent with English.
Only the blonde werewolf man truly understood just how impressive Laz was as every time he tried looking at the queen, his head would pound and his eyes feel like nails were being driven in. As for the other’s, they couldn’t even look at the queen as something in their bodies prevented them from doing so.
The only exception was Jill who seemed to glare at the woman as she approached Laz.
"I’m truly not interested. Instead, I would love to know how we can leave so that we can be out of your way quicker," Laz said, changing the subject. While this woman was a fiery one, the body movements and suggestive looks gave Laz a wary feeling, as though following through with any of her suggestions would be very dangerous to his health.
"You want to leave when you only just got her?" The queen asked, a look of dejection on her face.
Laz couldn’t help but sigh.
:Are you going to give this act a rest or are you just going to keep going on?: Laz said straight into her mind.
:My daughter told me you could do this, but I didn’t believe her. Why do you think I am putting on an act?: Don’t you humans have a belief of love at first sight?; She shot back, clearly not relenting with her game.
"Whatever. So what do you plan to do with us now, huh? Going to take us prisoner and torture us? I have to admit, I have a low tolerance for pain so I’m willing to tell you all my secrets if you just ask," Laz said out loud.
With the mention of prisoners and pain, everyone seemed to get a little more frightened by this, although considering how frightened they were already, there was little difference in how they were showing it.
"Why would I take my valuable guests as prisoners? I shall be happy to put all of you up for as long as you’d like, at least until we figure out a way to get you home. Please allow my servants to escort you to your quarters so that you might get comfortable," the elf queen said as she clapped.
From out of nowhere, a dozen beautiful girls in loose, dress like attire appeared and bowed, indicating for everyone to follow them.
Laz shook his head and took the lead, causing the others to form up behind him and follow him.
Looking back only once, Laz say the beautiful face of the queen turn ice cold as her emerald like eyes almost appeared black.
Laz didn’t respond, but turned back to the path they were now following while shaking his head some more. He hated these types of games that occurred while everyone already knew it was a game. Laz didn’t fear the elf queen, but he could tell she was strong, perhaps even stronger than him. The reason why he didn’t fear her had nothing to do with his belief that even if they fought, he could take her. Instead, it had to do with something he felt as he passed underneath the archway, some strange sense of familiarity and surprise.
Those types of feelings didn’t come from enemies.
As Laz lead the group away, the blonde hair female elf in leather armor came over and dropped to one knee in front of her mother, followed by everyone else who could lay eyes on her face.
Looking at her face was forbidden, even if you could. The one thing that Laz and everyone else failed to notice was that no one actually looked up at the elf queens face, even while she was standing right there. Instead, they only looked around her or at her feet or even off in another direction. While Laz noticed their strange behavior, he just chalked it up to a difference in culture.
"My queen. Forgive my insubordination. Once we discovered these outsides, we should have killed them and threw them out, but it was too late and the door was already closed," the blonde said, shaking as she made her report on the ground.
The queen’s eyes briefly rested on her daughter before turning around and beginning to walk away.
"Had you tried to attack them, you probably would have killed most of them, but in turn he would have killed all of you. The only one he is concerned about is the little girl following him and she was untouchable," the queen said without turning back.
Hearing this, the blonde elf couldn’t help but be a bit frightened and also confused.
’Didn’t he act to protect them from the mother tree?’
As though she heard her daughter’s thoughts, the queen once more spoke.
"He wasn’t mad about us almost killing them. He was mad because we ignored him in doing so. This human is far more dangerous than any of the others we have seen since coming here. I shall deal with him myself later. For now, give them enough food and water so that they won’t die. I must ask those that pray at the alter of the mother and see just why he was spared."
And with that, the queen vanished out of sight.
Standing up, the blonde haired elf dismissed the hunters and made for her room. She would have to get cleaned and dressed up as one of the attendants as she was to keep a close eye on the humans.
Even though the outfits were revealing, she didn’t mind the change in clothing as originally she had trained with the attendants. While they were the ones whose sole purpose it was to handle the human guests when they came here besides serving the queen, they were also responsible for any and all safety and enforcement issues that popped up. While their people were generally peaceful with each other by nature, lately things had deteriorated as their time in this small world dragged on.
As she thought about it, it was like a fire under a pot of water with a lid closed tightly on it. At some point the pressure from the enclosure would make the pot explode if something wasn’t done to fix it.
"Lady Genevieve, welcome home," her attendants greeted her as she stepped into her room overlooking the city within the branches and roots of the great tree.
"I need to be prepared for attendance. See to it," she said, stripping her armor off.
As she stood there in the light, she looked at a device that strangely looked like a sundial. The only difference was that there was a ruby at the top of it that projected light onto the face. As the light from the ruby hit a certain mark, the sky outside turned darked almost instantly, causing the city to be plunged into night as lights flared to light everywhere.
As the lights in her own room came on, Genevieve removed the band coving her breasts and letting them breath for the first time in over a week.
While not as big as her mother, Genevieve looked almost exactly like the older elf.
After several minutes of quick hand work, the veil covered Genevieve’s face as the attendants quickly applied a healing paste to both mask and heal the bruising from Laz’s strong hands that had almost choked the life out of her.
Without knowing it, Genevieve smiled as her delicate finger tips ran up and down the now disappearing splash of yellow, blue and purple skin.
