Chapter 133: Truly Evil Person

El showed me the mask he was holding in his hand and placed it on his face. "Looks familiar now?" He chuckled as I heard that same voice. That same shrieking voice gave me goosebumps.

It’s Z!

I immediately pushed the keychain but someone pulled my hand causing the keychain to fall to the ground, but before they could even cover my mouth, I flipped the guy behind me and ran towards the door.

"There’s no need to run like that, Noelle," El called my name but I ignored him. I need to escape.

"I don’t understand why you’re doing this, Aziel," I called his full name, but he laughed at me. "What’s so funny? Why won’t you explain anything?" I can’t believe any of this, no... I don’t want to believe it.

El walked towards the sofa and sat on it with his legs crossed. "Why? You can’t believe it?" He chuckled.

I gulped as I keep backing away with the other men trying to catch me. ’I can’t grasp everything that’s happening because I’m just trying to survive right now.’

I took a deep breath as I try to remember all that Night taught me on how to defend myself. ’I can do it. Then after, I’ll question El about everything.’ I thought as I was ready to defend myself until...

"It’s game over," El said and a cloud of smoke started coming out of the pipes near the air conditioner. "You should have given what I want the first time."

My vision was getting blurry as I tried to keep my consciousness. What’s with this smoke? "Y-You... liar," I said as I lost my strength on my knees.

El stood up from his seat and looked down at me. "You shouldn’t have believed me." He said. "You were gullible and easy to manipulate, didn’t you know that?"

He lied to me... "Was everything you said... lies?"

No answer came from him and all I knew was I’m already losing myself. "L-Liar."

Everything turned black...

And when I finally opened my eyes again, I was lying in the comfort of a soft and smooth bed. "I apologize for doing a surprise attack like that again." My gaze went to the person sitting beside the bed. "Did you have a good sleep?"

I backed away while glaring at him. "You..." I don’t even know where to start. Was everything he did for me and showed me, lies? Then, was his confession also a part of his lies to let my guard down around him?

"When did it start?"

El placed his hand on his chin. "Hmm... why don’t you start guessing?"

I threw a pillow at him which he immediately caught. "You... did you lure me the first time you saw me? Was everything part of your plans to get that ring?"

"I did want to get the ring as soon as possible, but I did enjoy your company, Ellie."

"Don’t call me by that name. Only people I’m close with can call me by that nickname."

El chuckled making me feel so dumb. ’How could I get fooled by this person?’ I balled my fists while glaring at him.

"Aren’t we close already? We went to the aquarium last time, right?" He said as if everything was normal. He’s too thick-skinned as if he didn’t deceive me. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

I gulped as I remembered that scene where he got shot right in front of me.

"Was getting shot by that masked man a lie too?"

El smiled as he lifted his shirt. "Ding dong! That’s correct." He said showing me his pale white stomach. There’s no hint of a wound there that supports what he said. "Aren’t I so good at acting? Didn’t you cry for me that time?"

The way he chuckled made me feel so disgusted that I might throw up. He’s laughing because I thought he was going to die that time? Because I was worried about him? ’He’s despicable.’ I thought as I got off the bed.

I wouldn’t just wait and stay here, I need to find a way out.

"Oops, you can’t leave yet," El said as he grabbed my arm but I quickly pulled away from him.

"Don’t touch me," I said while wiping the part where he touched. "I feel disgusted just by being near you."

I might look calm in front of him, but deep inside I want to break down. The comfort that I once trusted, betrayed me again. ’Why do people make me attached to them and then betray me in the end?’ I thought as I backed away from him.

"Aren’t you becoming exactly just like your husband?"

My eyes widened as I gazed at him. "W-What are you saying?"

The corner of his mouth turned up. "Why? Did you not expect that?" He scoffed. "I’m your stalker, Noelle. Of course, I know everything about you, and Night Yamaguchi."

I could feel my whole body trembling in fear after hearing that. All the time I spend with him, all those laughs I let out while he was by my side, everything... it was all part of his plan to get the ring from me.

"I didn’t expect that Night will marry you, though. I thought he’ll repent all his life for what he did."

My forehead creased as I could already feel the wall behind me. ’I can’t back away any more than this.’ Then, I must at least need to buy time.

"What are you talking about? Why do you keep talking as if you know Night?"

El laughed. "It’s because I do." He said as he pulled a chair and sat on it. "It’s a long story, care to listen? Although, you don’t have a choice either way." I stood still near the wall while he stares at me with those— I just noticed... his eyes look different.

"Why are you staring at me like that? If you want to be my girlfriend, then I’ll be more than happy." He said with a smile, but I ignored it. "Oh, you must be fascinated with my eyes, aren’t you?" El said as if he heard what went inside my head. "These are my natural eye color. It’ll be bad if Night realizes who I was so I used contact lenses and dyed my hair."

Who he was? Does Night know who he is?

"I’m so glad you didn’t even mention my name to that guy or else he’ll start investigating things." He keeps talking but I don’t understand anything. "But I think Kenji’s already wary of me. I think he also investigated me, that’s why I couldn’t wait anymore and just abducted you again thanks to Ryzen’s help."

R-Ryzen? He’s in this too!? "Did you manipulate Ryzen!?" I screamed.

"Oh, no. Ryzen and I are friends."

Then... did Ryzen lure me into Aziel’s trap despite knowing what will happen to me?

"Right, don’t worry. Ryzen’s not a bad person, and he warned me not to hurt you or else he’ll call the police on me." He said but how will I believe that? I don’t want to believe anything that comes out of his mouth.

"So, let me introduce myself again." El crossed his legs. "I am Aziel Ollie Llarena, the heir to the Llarena mafia group. Hehe, surprise." He said with such a bubbly and cheerful tone, but all I could feel for him were hatred and disgust.

"Why aren’t you clapping? Don’t you think we need to fully know everything about each other if we’re going to be in a relationship?"

"Who said I’ll get into a relationship with an evil person like you?" He stopped smiling after I said that.

"You’ve never met a truly evil person, Noelle." He said as he stood up from his seat. "I was never evil. I’m just doing these things to survive, and with that, I need your help." El’s tone changed from a cheerful one to a more serious one.

’Why would I help the person who abducted me?’

I didn’t say anything as I ran towards the door.

"I see, so you’re going to choose the hard way, huh?" I felt El’s hands on my waist and I immediately tried to push him off by doing what Night taught me, however, it was far than useless. His grip was so strong that I couldn’t get away and it feels like he was going to crush my ribcage.

"You don’t have to run away. You just need to listen, and then maybe, just maybe, you’ll want to give me what I brought you here for."

El pulled me towards the bed and forced me to lie while tying both my arms and legs to the bed’s posts. "See? You won’t be able to escape now."

I was far too weak to flip him over and I didn’t know he could be so strong.

"Now, where should I start? Hmm..." He placed his hand on his chin as he sat on the chair beside the bed. "There was a young boy, he was born in the slums and the only family he had was his mother."

I tried to resist the ropes on my arms and legs, but there was no way I could escape just by that.

"Hey, aren’t you going to listen?" I felt Aziel’s gaze on me and I immediately stopped moving.

It’s as if, it automatically induced fear in my whole body and now I can’t even control myself.
