I just stared, wondering if what I’d seen was real, because there was no way in hell this thing just called me and idiot, right?

Was the system’s mechanical reply, clearly trying to brush me off, but, I decided not to dive into that, not now atleast since there were bigger things to unbox, like,

Before I could finish that thought, the world went white for an instant, before everything returned to normal.
"Wha.. what just happened?"

The moment the system’s words resonated in Dante’s mind,
<SON OF CHAOS is reacting..> his title immediately flared up as his eyes turned chaotic and everything....STOPPED!
His eyes didn’t turn black, or white, or any other color of the spectrum, no! They turned Chaotic.
Within those swirling orbs of madness, creation itself could be witnessed.

"What... did you just say?" A voice, one not belonging to Dante,one that seemed to come from the very breaths of existence itself, echoed through the stationary world..

Silence was all that greeted him.
"I ask you. What. Did. You. Just. Say?" The voice asked once more, an undeniable weight of authority evident in its tone.

"I am mother’s perfect creation, her most beloved child, an embodiment of chaos herself, I am her will, her origin, her SOUL, all the she had, all that she was, she has given me.."
"So. Tell me, what, just what, in all of pathetic creation could possibly be bigger than I?"

A profound silence fell upon the place as Dante just stared at nothing, his eyes swirling brighter and brighter, worlds being born and destroyed within them, and then, they returned to normal, the world finally resuming its motion..

I couldn’t make heads or tail of what happened so,

What? You thought I was about to have some epiphany about how I was wasting my comprehension by not learning arrays and alchemy and all that nonsense?
