Chapter 2352: Chapter 2361: Full Points, Right?
The smile on Alexander Forest’s face vanished instantly upon entering, looking at Nina Rice with a face full of grievance, "What did I do to upset you recently?"
"You managed to upset me in every way possible." Nina rolled her eyes at Alexander, watching him put the flowers beside her bed, and held back without saying more.
"Junior President Forest, we owe you for this incident, thank you." Father Rice opened his mouth to express gratitude, "In a few days, when this is all settled, I’ll ask Nina to invite you over to our home for a meal."
"Uncle, please don’t call me Junior President Forest, just call me by my name or as Alexander." Alexander’s heart bloomed with joy, then he sneaked a glance at Nina, unable to hide his happiness.
He was secretly delighted.
Could he finally be accepted into their circle?
Jane Sampson stood next to James Black, observing Alexander’s expressions closely.
She looked at James and nodded slightly, using her eyes to ask if Alexander’s brain hadn’t been working well recently?
Didn’t he notice how cold Nina’s grandpa’s attitude was towards him?
Their relationship hadn’t even officially begun, and he was already acting like he’d be Nina’s groom tomorrow.
Didn’t he see her grandpa let out a small hum at him from the side?
James Black found it infinitely amusing and rubbed Jane Sampson’s head; the little miss sure had rich facial expressions.
"You young people continue chatting, we’re going to check on how that bodyguard is doing. No matter what, it was for our Nina’s injury, we need to go and thank him personally." Mother Rice spoke, then told Nina, "You have a good rest, and let Alexander accompany you to personally thank the bodyguard later."
"I can go by myself." Nina glanced at Alexander and nodded in agreement after saying this.
"Don’t worry about Grace’s case, I’ll personally step in tomorrow. For that scumbag daring to harm my daughter, I’ll make sure he pays dearly!" Mother Rice’s anger wasn’t small, even thinking about it beforehand.
"The police have already retrieved CCTV footage from nearby, clear visuals of the attacker’s figure and general appearance have been captured, finding this person shouldn’t be difficult." Alexander consoled Mother Rice, "Auntie, once they catch the attacker, have him identify, then send that scumbag to prison for a while."
Mother Rice gave Alexander a deep look, remained quiet for a few seconds before nodding, then left Nina’s ward with her husband and parents-in-law.
Like a faithful dog, Alexander respectfully and happily escorted the four elders out of the ward’s door, then returned, smiling like a sunflower.
"How about it? Didn’t I perform excellently in front of Uncle and Auntie Rice this time? Full marks, right?" Alexander leaned over to Jane Sampson, shamelessly asking, "Weren’t you also dazzled by how handsome I was today?"
"Alexander Forest, haven’t you noticed that Nina’s grandparents didn’t give you any face?" Peter Gingery couldn’t help but stab Alexander, "The mess you created before was no small issue, you might have forgotten, but others haven’t."
"You all, why must you remember these things so well? Isn’t living exhausting that way? Even I, being the person involved, forgot, but how do you all remember it so diligently on my behalf?" Alexander clutched his chest, exclaiming in heartache.
