Chapter 239: Blinded

- LUCIANO -

Rory looks like a goddess in black riding me. Nothing has ever felt better, has been more satisfying, than looking up into her eyes misted over with lust and awe and desire as she sinks and rises, mouth dropping open, brows pinched together.

And then I hear her whimper my name. She’s so soft and vulnerable again—seeking something from me that she’s afraid to lose.

"I’m here," I assure her. "I’m not leaving." I won’t ever leave you, tesoro.

And then I feel it. My beautiful girl lets go. She gives over completely.

Rory melts against me, slowing her movements, taking my mouth and giving me more—giving me permission for something I don’t quite understand yet. But I take it, meeting her sweet whimpers with a soft growl and flipping her over onto her back.

I shuck off my swim trunks and lower myself back over her. When I reach for the knife and flip it open, her eyes flare slightly, but she doesn’t question it. Her breath only hitches slightly when I tug the swimsuit and slide the blade underneath, slicing through the fabric and flaying it open—freeing her from the black webbing that was holding her in.

"God, you’re so beautiful."

She stares up at me with those sapphire eyes, a pink flush spreading over her chest and cheeks as I remove the remnants of fabric and then descend to make a trail of kisses over her pale skin.

"That was my only suit." Her voice is soft, hands caressing me and threading through my hair—tugging gently as I worship with my lips, with my hands.

"I’ll buy you another one," I mutter against her skin, and she giggles.

"Luci..." When she says my name, my gaze is drawn back up from her warmth, finding her over the curves—over the valley of her stomach and peeks of her breasts until our eyes lock. "Teach me how to love you."

I’m so taken with just breathing her in, tasting her tenderness, that it takes me a moment to respond. Like someone pausing in the midst of a meal when they’ve been famished. But then my thoughts settle, finding the full significance of what she’s asking.

"I’m not sure that’s something I can teach, tesoro."

I climb up her body and brace myself over her, staring into her eyes. Those eyes are endless. It looks like love there, gazing so openly up at me. But it’s up to Rory to decide if that’s what she’s giving.

"You’ll either love me or you won’t," I whisper and kiss her.

Her hands glide down my chest, my sides, my back—seeking to memorize me just as I am her. I want to just dive into her heart, pull her demons out and replace them with myself. But it’s not a fast process. This will take time. Lots and lots of time, but I’m a patient man.

"I don’t think I know how to love anyone yet," she says finally. "But I know you’re mine. I know I belong here with you."

"You’re right about that."

"Show me," she whispers. "Tell me you’re mine again." Her gaze drops to my lips just as her thumb trails over them.

I nuzzle into her neck, kissing under her ear before capturing the cute little lobe of it between my teeth. The bite is gentle, but her breath hitches and fingers curl into my back. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"I’m yours," I say and roll my hips, pushing back into her and making her gasp. "All yours, tesoro."

Rory is like home. Once I’m here, it feels like I’ve never left.

I want to lose myself in her, give her everything, take everything. She fits perfectly around me like we were originally molded as one, and now we’ve made our way back to the start—completing the journey home. And that’s all I’m doing, returning home. Over and over again. Making sure she knows I’m here now and I’m not leaving.

Rory pulls me into a kiss that’s searing and hungry and demanding—seeking something from me that I haven’t already given her. She wants more.

My hips continue to roll, delving into her center, into her heat—into the sacred part of her where no one else will ever enter again. Her legs wrap around my waist and lock, like she’s trapping me against her—a prisoner held against her body.

And that’s when I realize what’s happening. Rory is claiming me—seeking to keep me for only herself.

"Yes, just like that," she whispers on a harsh breath, angling herself to take me deeper, and a soft groan makes its way up my throat.

There’s a ceiling inside that I’m reaching, like the height of the castle walls, and that’s when I know there’s nowhere else left to go. I’ve filled her completely. God, and all I want to do is just stay here, just remain buried and whole and complete. It’s perfection.

Rory whimpers so beautifully, urging me to continue. When I seek her eyes, I don’t expect the fiery glare that meets me. A shiver rolls down my spine, spurring me forward with erratic movements that lose all of their confidence and grace.

Her legs squeeze around me with urgency, pulling me in, correcting the rhythm—helping me remember the effortless glide of our bodies before I was captured by the piercing glare of this dark goddess inside of her. With a hand wrapped around the nape of my neck, she pulls me down until our foreheads kiss.

"You’re fucking mine, Luciano," she whispers fiercely. "Do you understand? Mine. No one else’s."

Oh. My. Lord.

"No one else’s," I vow, taking her mouth to seal the pact.

Rory pulses around me, clenching inward as our tongues battle and teeth glide—two animals fighting for something we both want like we don’t understand we’ve already gotten it. It’s here between us, glowing wild and brilliant, burning away the darkness.

When Rory screams her release, it’s muffled—eaten hungrily as I keep thrusting into her shuddering body, rocketing up the sharp incline of this steep mountain between us. And then I lift off, spiraling into my sky with a roar as my vision explodes and I come into her—claiming her back.

This home, this woman, is mine.

It’s a moment before I realize that my vision is white. Like every star in my inner sky has erupted, blinding me with stardust. That’s all I see, and I start sucking in panicked breaths.

"Luci," Rory’s voice is breathless, but it’s sweet and spoken from the earth, calling me back down. Seeking to calm me.

"I can’t see," I tell her, blinking against nothing.

"Yes you can." Her hands cup my face, thumbs caressing my cheeks. "I know you can, because you’re looking right at me."

Gradually, the color filters back in—fuzzy but filled enough that I can sigh in heavy relief and sag on the bed next to her, soft and satiated and spent.

"Did I hurt you after all?" She asks tenderly.

It’s such an innocent question, but it’s spoken as if with an inner wisdom—a knowing that I’m unaware of. Maybe I’m the naive one, and this is a special power that Rory just used on me—an enchantment of some kind to claim me, to ensure that I remain hers.

If so, I’m all for it. That was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. And I’m hers to enchant if that’s what she wants.

"Maybe you did, dolcezza." I chuckle lightly and pull her into my arms. "Whatever that was, I’m definitely never going to be the same."
