Chapter 186: Chapter 186: The Law Of Nihility
Deep within the Infinite Void dimension, a magnificent Crystal Palace shone like a lone celestial star.
On its grand balcony sat an impossibly handsome, mature man with abyssal eyes. His piercing gaze was locked onto a terrifying entity trillions of light years away.
It was the absolute embodiment of destruction and nothingness.
Asteroids, planets, stars, nebulas, and entire galaxies were being effortlessly erased in its cosmic path.
Seated gracefully upon his lap was a breathtaking goddess with cascading silver hair.
Her deep blue eyes reflected the exact same apocalyptic scene he was watching.
"What is that, husband?" she asked softly, gently leaning her head against his broad chest.
The man with the abyssal eyes did not look away.
"That is my pet. It possesses an endless hunger to erase everything from Creation."
"Isn’t that a terrible news, husband? Why have you released it?" she asked with a hint of unease.
"Because some beings simply refused to listen to my decrees. This is a necessary sacrifice."
He shifted his gaze down to her.
"Anyway, have you studied the law it represents? The Law of Nihility? Although, I am not entirely sure if you will be compatible with it, Moon."
Moon pouted, "I do not want to learn that kind of dreadful law. My Absolute Ice Law and you are all I will ever need."
The man heaved a soft sigh and stroked her silver hair.
"Still, I would like you to remember the Prime Runes, just in case you ever need them someday."
Left with no other choice, she obediently nodded.
Just then, the spatial fabric rippled, and another figure manifested out of thin air.
Wrapped in ethereal green silk, the stunning newcomer offered a wry expression.
"Sweetheart, the universe is literally burning. And what are you two doing out here? Having fun?"
Hearing the ethereal woman’s voice, the man finally smiled with genuine warmth.
"Gloriana," he called out softly.
Her teasing demeanor transformed into a devoted and slightly nervous smile.
"Yes, husband." she replied.
His eyes suddenly flashed with an overwhelming abyssal darkness as he looked back at the dying galaxies.
"Remember, it is those Godkings who started this war. I am merely providing the end. Do you understand?"
Gloriana stepped forward, her cool hand over his warm ones.
"I do, husband. And I will always support you. The Tyrannical Emperor must succeed. The Infinity must live on."
---
"Hah..."
Myria violently snapped back to reality, her focus returning from the overwhelming influx of future memories.
She was currently locked in a brutal battle against Helion, but she was absolutely no match for his oppressive Fire Law.
She possessed her own Absolute Ice Law, but it was vastly inferior in terms of mastery.
It was painfully obvious that his primordial master had forcefully elevated his Synchronization at Greater Stage (75%).
Meanwhile, she was still completely stuck at the Small Synchronization (25%) stage.
After all, it had only been a single month since she acquired all the knowledge of the future, right at the exact moment Moon’s consciousness had departed from her body.
"Haha... Take this, Elder Sister!"
Helion cackled maniacally and threw another blazing fireball at Myria.
But this wasn’t an ordinary orange fire; it was a pure, purple flame.
Sizzle!
The very air hissed and burned from the sheer firepower.
"Absolute Ice Law: Gregon Shield," Myria muttered under her breath.
Instantly, she formed a massive, elephant-like creature made of solid ice that charged at the purple fireball like an ancient mammoth.
"KIAAAAAK!"
The creature of pure ice felt almost alive, perfectly obeying Myria’s absolute will and command.
Then again, the fireball wasn’t some lifeless construct either. It swiftly transformed into a roaring lion of purple fire, clashing head-to-head against the ice mammoth.
"ROARRRRR!"
Fire and ice collided in a violent, chaotic struggle.
The ice mammoth held its ground perfectly for a short while. However, the intensity of the purple flame was increasing rapidly, and it soon resulted in a devastating explosion.
BOOM!
Dust and thick water vapor clouded the training arena, making the watching family members entirely unable to see what was happening inside.
When the mist finally cleared, they saw Helion standing completely unharmed, perfectly safeguarded by a swirling cage of purple flames.
But Myria?
She had been blasted into a far corner of the arena, violently coughing up blood.
Her mother clenched her fists in worry, while the Emperor remained completely apathetic, watching from above.
Helion walked toward the fallen Myria with arrogant strides.
"You know, Elder Sister, I am actually surprised that you managed to master a Law. Well, I suppose that is to be expected from an Enlightened One," Helion said, looking down at her.
"But I am sorry to inform you that my Law has reached a far greater height than yours. It will take you years to even catch up to me. So, I should be the rightful heir to the throne. Am I not right, Elder Sister?"
"You talk too much, Helion," she replied coldly, slowly wiping the blood from her pale chin.
Her icy blue eyes locked onto his, completely devoid of the panic or despair he expected to see.
She knew he was right about one thing. Her current mastery over the Absolute Ice Law was simply not enough to overcome his primordial purple flames.
If she relied strictly on the power she cultivated in this era, the imperial throne would undeniably be lost today.
But she was no longer just Myria. She carried the terrifying legacy of MOON.
She closed her eyes for a brief moment, plunging her consciousness into the deepest and most terrifying abyss of her future memories. She visualized the magnificent Crystal Palace floating in the Infinite Void. She recalled the suffocating dark aura of her future husband, the Tyrannical Emperor Neo Godson.
Against her wishes, he had gently but firmly forced her to memorize a set of forbidden Prime Runes, warning her that she might need them to survive one day.
The Nihility Law.
She had deeply hated that specific power. It was the absolute antithesis of her beautiful cold ice.
But right now, it was her only path to total victory.
