Chapter 1931: Moving To Save Mom!

After being saved by Maria’s team, Elena and her friends finally learned what they had been seeking.
"Have you seen that thing, girls?" Alma asked. "It looks like a giant black octopus with red eyes and tentacles covered in mouths."
"It must have come from the Nightmare Rift up there," Maria said. "The rift is empty and slowly closing, so it somehow escaped..."
"Well... uhh," Elena muttered. "I think... we know who you’re talking about."
"Yep, that eldritch thing that tried to kill us all? We saw it!" Elena added. "Elena’s mom punched it away toward there!"
"Huh, that’s exactly where your mom is, right?" Maria asked.
"Close. We’ll find her there..." Elena replied.
"Then once we find our target, we’ll split up. Is that fine with you?" Emily asked.
"It’s completely fine!" Elena nodded.
The Dream Warrior students nodded in agreement. Pure Dream Energy surged from their bodies as their Dream Weapons strengthened, pulsing with even greater power while the Nightmare Monsters drew closer.
"Then let’s go."
The girls charged forward. Maria carved through the Nightmare monsters while her army of Undead—born from her own Nightmare Magic—marched relentlessly ahead, cutting down everything in their path.
Elena noticed that not all of Maria’s Undead were mere skeletons. Some resembled tall, armored knights wreathed in phantasmal flames. Others were ghosts formed of red fire, and a few were pale zombies with long white hair and sharp crimson eyes, resembling vampires.
As they advanced, the battlefield grew even more chaotic. More Nightmares became desperate and expanded their Nightmare Realms everywhere, unleashing a massive wave of monsters that rushed toward everyone.
Olivia and the others who had moved ahead soon realized the girls were no longer behind them. "Wait, what are they even doing?! They’re with Maria’s team?! Are they... moving to save Elayne?"
"Likely," Rider responded.
"Sensei, what’s wrong? We have to go!" Erika called.
"Wait, where’s Elena?!" Harumi panicked. "And the other girls? They’re gone!"
"They went to save Elayne-sensei..." Frank sighed. "We’re too far away to chase after them now, but they’re with Maria’s team. Those girls are strong."
"But is that enough?" Matsuo asked, his voice tight with panic.
"Hey, Matsuo, we have to go! Leave those girls behind. We need to get out of here," Matsuo’s father said. He made it clear they weren’t important.
"But dad...!" Matsuo muttered. "They’re our friends. Can we really just leave them behind?"
"I’ll go!" Olivia stepped forward. "It’s my fault Elayne ended up like this... And I can move fast with Rider. All of you, just get out of here! Okay?"
"But sensei..." Erika cried. "Wait, you three! Where’s my dad?! He would solve all of this with a single punch!"
"Your father... we’ve been ordered to save you, so we don’t know where he is right now," said the leader of the werewolves. "The Nightmare Realms twisting space here make it almost impossible to track others by scent."
"Alright, we’ll escape and you go, sensei," Frank said. "But take these."
Frank suddenly summoned four blue crystals into his hands. "These are special magic crystals connected to my powers. I’ve marked the names of the girls on them. Once you find them, please give these to them. They’ll help."
"What are they supposed to do?" Olivia asked, confused.
"It’s a secret," Frank replied. "But it’s nothing bad, I swear."
"O-Okay... well, alright then!" Olivia said. "Rider!"
"Okay!"
Rider summoned the Anzu Bird, and they quickly took off into the skies. The heroic spirit laughed as he impaled any Nightmare monster in their path with his burning spear.
"You really gave them those crystals?" Harumi asked. "Are you sure?"
"They’ve already saved my life. I owe them," Frank said. "I also feel like they’ll need all the help they can get... If things go well, we’ll meet again. But for now... I need you by my side."
Frank held her hand. Harumi nodded, running alongside him and the others, though she kept glancing behind and calling for Assassin. He continued to refuse, saying he couldn’t join her at the moment.
"Elena, please be well..."
Nightmares roared constantly, blocking the path of Elena and her friends. But Maria’s group dispatched them with incredible speed. Their Dream Weapons were truly remarkable, dealing massive damage to Nightmares. Most died after one or two hits unless they specialized in regeneration.
Thanks to Maria, Alma, Emily, and Sofia’s help, they smoothly crossed the chaotic battlefield and reached the epicenter of the fighting. In the distance, they saw Elayne battling both Assassin and Berserk. Not far away, a giant thirty-meter-tall werewolf made of red and black cursed energy fiercely clashed with the Vampire Queen and Kaguya.
"Where?! Where is he? I can feel him!" Maria said, looking around. She closed her eyes and expanded her Aura. "There!"
Her eyes gleamed with bright red and purple flames as she detected a large mass of Nightmare Miasma to the southwest, right beneath a hole under a pile of rubble.
"Was he harmed that badly by her mom?!" Sofia asked.
"We might have to ask her to join the Dream Warrior Academy later, haha!" Emily laughed.
"I think this is where we split!" Alma said. "Elena, you girls, please be safe! Here!"
The ever-worried Alma conjured four Dream Blessings on the girls, creating Azure Barriers of Dream Water around their bodies to protect them from damage and heal their wounds.
"It’s a little buff! I hope it helps! Bye!"
Alma quickly joined the others. Elena nodded, remaining with her friends as they watched Elayne fiercely fighting the two heroic spirits, splitting the ground and shaking the skies.
Nightmares constantly tried to devour her as well, drawn by her malevolent aura. Instead, she devoured them, absorbing them completely into her giant form. Sharp fangs emerged from her dark wood, consuming everything.
"How can we even get in the middle of that fight?!" Anna asked, feeling the task was almost impossible.
"I can... I think," Elena said, surging with power. She quickly assumed the Heaven Stance and channeled her Empty Blade Arts. "Yasuke is on our side. He can join us... The real problem is Berserker! Why is he so strong? His aura feels strange!"
"Well, alright then," Elisa nodded. "Monica... I think we might have to do That."
"Really?!" Monica asked excitedly. "I guess it’s that bad, but we need the power..."
"Wait, what are you two doing?" Anna asked.
"We’ll fuse," Elisa said. "If Monica possesses me when I unleash all my dragon power... we can transform into something else. We’ll be strong enough to fly you all up there!"
"We will protect you!" Monica nodded.
"Alright then...!" Elena said.
