Chapter 132: Another step, Completed

’So, it had disappeared from here, but will it appear on the other side,’ Dhruv thought.

With a bit of fear and a bit of excitement, he began to walk in the direction of the portal as well. While walking he remembers something and turns to face Azarex.

Looking at Azarex, he mentioned, "Azarex, you come but order the undead to be here and check whether the connection with them remains intact or not."

"Yes, master," Azarex nodded and ordered the undead to do exactly as he was told.

He and Dhruv walked into the portal, and a few seconds later, they appeared in the same dark prison.

Dhruv frantically looked around himself to check something. When his gaze fell on one item he began to laugh fanatically.

"So, it really is possible to transport items from the dungeons," he said as he looked in front of him where the tree was. The tree had broken in multiple places due to not having enough space, but that didn’t defeat the purpose at all.

Dhruv controlled himself, looked at Azarex, and asked, "What about the connection?"

"The connection has been broken, master," Azarex said as he tilted his head in denial.

"Ohh!" Dhruv nodded, but he didn’t ponder about this matter anymore and began to move out of the prison to tell everyone about it.

...

"Is that really possible, my lord?" Thala asked after listening to all of Dhruv’s words that he had just said.

"Yes, it is possible. Look at the wood in Vexar’s hand," Dhruv signaled everyone to look toward Vexar with a smile on his face.

"It really is wood..." a bystander exclaimed in shock.

"Dungeons are surely magical..." another one said with a shocked expression.

"Wow, we don’t have to travel for wood anymore..." one of Lyra’s bodyguards mentioned this.

"When should we start the process of building the houses?" a little girl asked as she imagined herself in the new house.

"Maybe from tomorrow," another person answered her with curiosity.

Everyone began to talk about whatever was coming to their mind and the whole island began to fill with the sound of murmurs.

Listening to the murmurs, which were diverting everyone’s attention Dhruv looked at Azarex and ordered him to do something.

"Silence," Azarex said with thunderous words. The moment the words escaped his lips his undeads took one step towards the people of the island.

In an instant, silence enveloped the whole area. Knowing his position as Dhruv’s guardian, nobody had the courage to go against his order.

"Please, everyone, refrain from talking too much in the presence of his excellency," Lyra, the priestess advised everyone as well.

’His excellency, from where is she learning all these new words?’ Dhruv thought as he looked at Lyra.

With a smile on his face, Dhruv addressed everyone, "We are going into the dungeon once again to get the full picture of the surroundings. While we are there, try to finish cleaning the prison in the meantime, so we can start building the houses as soon as possible. Azarex and his undead will help you in this matter."

Dhruv mentioned clearing the prison So, he can be sure that during the retrieval of the resources, there wouldn’t be anything in the way. As they have to make proper way if they want to transport massive trees.

Everyone nodded, happy with the arrangements. Looking at their satisfied expression Dhruv smiled. He looked at Azarex and created a telepathic connection with him.

[Come with us and retrieve the undead from the dungeons if it is possible. Try to first clean the way from the portal to outside and remember to keep the spider’s egg safe during the cleaning. And try to finish everything as fast as possible.] Dhruv was about to stop but he remembered something and continued, If Alaric returns while I am away, get him to help you as well. Okay?]

[As you wish, my lord,] Azarex responded.

The crowd began to disperse, and everyone started to go to work. The training was postponed for the day, or maybe even until the prison was cleared.

Dhruv once again entrusted everything to Lyra and the old elder to maintain everything under control. He personally said that if there were to be any problems she couldn’t resolve then Azarex is there for her.

Having said that, Dhruv and Vexar once again began to walk toward the dungeon and entered it.

The moment he stepped into the portal he was once again transported to the realm of the greenery and in the same location. When he looked at his virtual map, he found out that the previous routes were still there and they hadn’t been glitched like the previous time.

[Map Maker has reached level 3.]

With a smile, he began to follow the same route he had taken previously and reached the end of it. After reaching the end, he decided to stay on the same trail and walk in the same direction.

After walking for a while, he caught something abnormal in his vision. He stops his tracks and looks at the abnormality.

"Is that a cave?" he thought aloud as he looked at the structure in front of him.

After focusing for a while, he got the full details of the entrance. It looked like a green, moss-covered opening with lush vines, and beyond that vines was just darkness. Its mouth was encircled by hanging vines and vibrant ferns.

If Dhruv hadn’t looked at his surroundings carefully, he was sure that he would have missed the entrance.

He walked toward the cave and decided to make a note of the area on the map, but he didn’t dare to enter it as of yet. He planned to explore the cave but was going to do that later.

Taking a mental note, he began to walk away from the cave. No more than a hundred meters away from the cave, another weird thing caught his attention.

Dhruv was forced to stop in his tracks and urged Vexar to do the same. The more he looked at the scene in front of him the more baffled he was getting.

’What the heck, is that a goblin village?’ Dhruv thought as he looked at the sight in front of him.
