Chapter 542: Chapter 47: Exile and Imprisonment (Part 3)
"On the road parallel to his, he would grant others great freedom, as long as you adhere to the rough framework he established."
"This is also the reason why those seemingly lowly farmers and hardworking warriors, even amidst daily turmoil, continue to closely follow the footsteps of the Emperor of the Imperial."
Mo Fanleid turned his head, gazing at the perfect profile of this Punishment Angel, and smiled, "Perhaps this is also why you’re willing to actively accept the ideological influence and heritage of the Emperor, otherwise, with your initial setting of only a child’s intellectual capability, you would not have grown this fast."
"Even though when we first created you, we left you with almost all kinds of basic knowledge heritage, the evolution of intellectual capabilities still requires the growth of long years."
Punishment Angel Gabriel turned back and said coldly, "No, you are wrong, father did not instill any of his thoughts in me, he merely let me observe by myself. During those years in the Elemental Pool of the Giant Dragon Hall, I have perused countless traces of dreams of residents, thus I grew."
"But as my father, the Emperor of the Empire, needs to show his tolerance, I, however, feel that his approach is somewhat too mild,"
The Punishment Angel looked toward the place the Golden Empire had never reached and said faintly, "Some races and beings, it is impossible for their thoughts to be changed spontaneously through gentle means,"
"They need to be utterly eradicated physically, and their souls, thoroughly purged!"
...
The Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam shuttled up high, but his mind was in a daze, merely relying on habits, maneuvering Magic Power and wind, traveling day and night, rushing to the prison he desperately wished to escape from, yet had to return to.
Even with the flying speed of an adult Giant Dragon, the Eternal Punishment Dragon still flew for several days and nights before reaching the mighty peaks.
The Hundred Thousand Mountains are only a part of this mountain range unveiled, its internal area has not been entirely explored by even the Eternal Punishment Dragon.
The peaks that once grew lush with ancient trees on the boundaries of the mountains have been turned into bare stone peaks by some unknown force, revealing the godly sculptures that were once carved from entire mountains.
However, the eyes of these Divine Spirit sculptures have been gouged out, leaving some dark hollows, resembling terrifying nests inhabited by fierce monsters.
The Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam flew inward along the explored safe route, his over twenty-meter-long body seemed insignificant among the towering peaks.
Each towering peak may well be the habitat of a peculiar race.
Groups of large, steel-feathered Peng Birds, with fierce temperaments, perched on thick ancient trees on the peaks, glaring at the passing Eternal Punishment Dragon.
Their massive iron wings, several dozens of meters long, spread open in their nests atop the peaks, revealing sharp eyes also watching this Dragon.
Peng Birds, carrying ancient bloodlines, are ferocious in nature, even Dragons do not want to provoke these creatures lightly. The Peng Birds once tamed by the Storm Giants were scattered chicks or in special encounters, the Eternal Punishment Dragon Liam accelerated his flight.
The creatures in the mountains appeared particularly massive in the eyes of the Dragon, the most numerous being various enormous elephants roaming the valleys and plains between the mountains.
Woolly elephants, mammoths, gray rock elephants, and many species of elephants already extinct in the outside world, still lived in this enclosed world. These now omnivorous creatures are the favorite prey of many races.
The Eternal Punishment Dragon began to act more cautiously because as he ventured into the interior of the mountain range, the creatures of various races became denser.
He passed over the tribe of Gray Elves, these beings with silver hair and amber eyes or light golden hair and violet eyes were serene in nature, thus they did not care about the Giant Dragon flying overhead.
The Eternal Punishment Dragon continued his flight, weaving but never flying above the mountaintops. He passed the Wind-winged Bird’s habitat, the Spiderized Ape, the Elephant Mastiff, the Five-headed Horror Ghost.
He passed over the Dragon Eel, the Mountain Giant Demon, the Corpse Hunting Hound, the Rakshasa Stone Giant Beast, and the Giant-Winged Serpent Dragon, among other powerful and ancient races.
Finally, he entered the Giants’ Domain. In this mountain range, besides the few individually strong Giants, such as the Multi-armed Giant Mogyes and several most ferocious Giants, these Giant Species could not roam freely within the mountains.
These Giants with formidable physical strength also needed to form tribes and live in groups in this mountain range, otherwise, they would also be prey to other races.
The swamp area shrouded in black mist, covered by thick ancient trees, emitted an evil force warning of danger, even the Eternal Punishment Dragon needed to avoid it.
This area belonged to the Death Giant’s habitat domain.
In this mountain range, there is no desert or dune, over prolonged changes, the Death Giants lived in the swamps and claimed this area as their forbidden land.
Even though Mogyes’ power has reached the realm of Legend, there are still many Giant Species in the mountain range yet to be ruled by Mogyes.
These Death Giants are some of those yet unconquered by Mogyes.
This race is exceptionally evil. The ancestors of the Death Giants once sold the immortal souls of their tribe members for blasphemous power, leading the descendants of the race to inherit endless torment and wrongdoings.
