Chapter 539: Chapter 46: The Giant’s Slave, the Slave’s Giant (Part 3)
The battlefield where several Giant Dragons allied was transformed into a one-on-one battle with this adult Eternal Punishment Dragon.
The sporadic attacks of the Eternal Punishment Dragon prevented the young dragons from mustering enough strength to simultaneously strike from within, penetrating the Talent Realm of this peculiar dragon.
They also had to maintain full attention to counter the elusive attacks from the Eternal Punishment Dragon. Even so, in the brief skirmish moments, several young dragons were already significantly harmed.
Even though it was negligible on a Dragon’s formidable body, such accumulation would eventually become the last straw that breaks these years-old dragons.
Moreover, the Eternal Punishment Dragon could easily wait for these young dragons’ Spiritual Power to fatigue, their strength depleted to the point of weakness, subduing them one by one without suffering any harm.
The mocking voice of the Eternal Punishment Dragon reverberated in the somber Realm of Eternal Punishment, striking these young dragons’ hearts.
"Give up resisting,"
the Eternal Punishment Dragon sneered, the claws of an adult Giant Dragon suddenly appeared behind the White Dragon Gomot from the dark space above.
Despite White Dragon Gomot being wholly focused on sensing the spatial situation, when turning to counterattack, the unaccumulated strength could not oppose the adult Giant Dragon, and was swept stumbling by the enormous power from the Eternal Punishment Dragon’s claws.
"The Multi-headed Dragon has fled, but your companions have abandoned you too. Your resistance is futile. Even if your allies return, they can only die by my hand,"
the Eternal Punishment Dragon jeered loudly, the immense force from the adult dragon shredded White Dragon Gomot’s muscles, snapping Gomot’s bones.
"What Realm of the Dragons is merely a joke; Dragons cannot form civilizations, because I know what Dragons are like, hahaha!"
White Dragon Gomot ignored the words of the Eternal Punishment Dragon. His powerful regenerative abilities continued to persevere, with his massive heart beating like a drum. The Dragon’s True Blood in his veins was being squeezed and circulated through his body, repairing damaged organs and splintered muscles.
He resisted the adult Giant Dragon’s assault with unyielding will, refusing to yield.
Surging power released from the Dragon’s True Blood forced the White Dragon Gomot’s broken bones and shattered muscles to heal. He rallied his Magic Power and exuberant Power of Rebirth, advancing towards the adult Dragon.
Yet the Eternal Punishment Dragon’s figure disappeared instantly, traversing freely in the dim realm.
Blue Dragon Doss growled in the depths of the realm, every movement embodied with Thunderbolt and lightning, illuminating the dark land.
He believed that the realm of the Eternal Punishment Dragon should have boundaries, but he was mistaken. The Dragon’s realm connected to some mysterious Spatial Plane. This ability resembled anchoring oneself to that realm, isolating a piece of that mysterious space into a realm as a cage.
The cage of the present world was the node to break this space. To break this cage from within required a power stronger than an adult Giant Dragon, sufficient to break through the naturally powerful blood of the Eternal Punishment Dragon.
But Blue Dragon Doss did not give up. These Giant Dragons believed that if they persisted, their allies would arrive consecutively, for they too would do the same.
An unusual wave emanated from somewhere within the dark space, and Blue Dragon Doss quickly turned around, Thunderbolt on him striking like divine punishment, accompanied by rumbling thunder and spreading lightning, proactively attacking the appearing adult Dragon.
Boom,
In the confrontation between two Dragons, under resolute will, Blue Dragon Doss was only repelled a few steps, with scales on his claws shattered but not severely injured.
But the blood at the tip of the adult Dragon’s claw was not Blue Dragon Doss’s own.
Blue Dragon Doss felt a pang inside, watched as the adult Dragon’s figure submerged again, and he howled toward the sky, "Despicable creature, come out and fight me,"
"The longer you drag on, the worse you’ll die,"
Blue Dragon Doss’s roars echoed throughout the space. He laughed, "My companions will arrive one by one, and our Warriors will kill all those Giants. By then, only you, only you, a Dragon facing us,"
"Run then, take this chance to run, or else your head will be a trophy to those goblins and Kobolds, kicked around as a ball."
Yet Blue Dragon Doss’s approach did not achieve the desired result. This Blue Dragon smirked, he thought the Ancestral Red Dragon was correct, that calm was the primary virtue when facing anything, but now he couldn’t help his companions and could only continue exploring along this space.
Although Blue Dragon Doss’s words did not achieve the desired effect, the words of the Blue Dragon had already become real.
The Eternal Punishment Dragon hovered in mid-air, the vast Realm of Eternal Punishment beneath his body allowed him to enter at any time, but he could no longer mock as before.
Blue Dragon Akzhi crouched on the city gate, his vertical pupils fixated on this dragon with a terrifying appearance, having wings like patched rags, and spoke aloud: "Stop before committing a wrong act, that’s the most correct thing you can do."
"Release my companions, and as a Giant Dragon Lord, I can grant your departure, Eternal Punishment Dragon,"
Blue Dragon Akzhi said, "But next time, you won’t be so fortunate. You’ll be deemed the enemy of all dragons, where every Giant Dragon, each Warrior, would covet to twist off your head."
"Therefore, you may choose to surrender and retract your wings. I, Akzhi, as Dragon Lord, according to the Dragon’s Code, absolve your mortal crime,"
"You only need to atone for your wrongful deeds to enjoy a life far superior to being among Giants. The nation Dragons built will not exclude any Dragon Race."
The Eternal Punishment Dragon surveyed the scene, yet felt fearful within.
Those Giants were unexpectedly all slain by Warriors donning Blood Armor, each Giant’s head hung from the warriors’ waists or held in their hands, like a race that loved showcasing heads as trophies.
But at this time, those powerful Warriors gazed at him as though seeing him as prey. He couldn’t fathom how Dragons could have such formidable Warriors when he believed Dragons were unworthy of such loyalty, unable to earn anyone’s fidelity.
Just like those Dragon Gods, unworthy of the reverence and faith of their creations!
The high tower in the sky also had Spiritual Power locking on, making the Eternal Punishment Dragon feel uneasy.
And there were new Dragons roaring from the city not far away. The Eternal Punishment Dragon could even see the two wavering Teleportation Gates behind which a turbulent young Red Dragon and a somewhat foolish young White Dragon stood.
Though the Eternal Punishment Dragon didn’t know why these two dragons paused instead of passing through the Teleportation Gate during their stay in his Realm of Eternal Punishment, what the Blue Dragon said within that realm was indisputably true.
This truly was a country formed by a group of Dragons, with its own civilization.
"So, should I fight to the death or trust the words of that Blue Dragon?"
The Eternal Punishment Dragon pondered silently, then spoke: "My soul is enslaved by the Multi-armed Giant Mogyes, unable to belong to you."
"But if you keep your promise, when we are in opposition in the future, I, Liam, will grant you leniency."
"Alright,"
Blue Dragon Akzhi nodded his enormous head, he said gravely, "But in the future, we will not show you mercy!"
